“The Palo Alto Inn is a pleasantly nice place to stay, the room we had was very clean and everything was complimentary. The front desk receptionist is very kind and he let us check in 20 minutes early. The only downfall about the room is we heard the guest above us running and walking in their room, moving items around, etc between 10pm to midnight. It was frustrating to say the least. Other than that, we do recommend The Palo Alto Inn. We would stay there again but would choose the upstairs rooms so we won't have the issue again hearing the gust above us.”

“I stayed for a week on a business trip and was quite satisfied. I think I will come back again when I come to this area. I will leave more detailed information in Korean.

Stayed here for a week. It was wonderful, better than I expected. Love the location, love the breakfast, and love the room. The staff were very kind. I would come again if I'm in Palo Alto.

Rooms: First of all, the room had two queen-size beds, an induction stove, a microwave, and a mini refrigerator. Actually, I didn't check these things when I booked the accommodation, so I was very surprised and satisfied when I got to the accommodation.
As someone who packs a bag of Korean food on business trips, I found it easy to eat. Since I don't have these things, I usually carry a mini induction stove for travel.
There was also a coffee machine, but I didn't use it much because there was free coffee in the breakfast area anyway, and there were also dishes, knives, spoons and forks and other utensils. I don't think there was any such thing as a pot. So, we used the mini induction pot we brought with us to use induction in this room. In our room, there was only one bowl and many more plates. I was very satisfied because there were three desks and there was also a TV.

It was nice to have a veranda, and the washbasin was separate from the toilet and shower area.
There were ants crawling on the bathroom wall, but I thought it was okay and moved on.

The Caltrain passes nearby, so you can often hear the sound of a train passing by. And since it's next to the main road, you can hear some traffic noise, but it's definitely not that loud at night, so it doesn't bother me too much.

Nearby activities: There's a Walgreens across the street, but there's not much there. They don't sell alcohol, and I originally wanted to buy melatonin, but they didn't sell it. So I just bought some snacks and juice there, and if you walk nearby for about 10 minutes, there is Ernie's liquor store, so I bought some alcohol there. There are so many different types of alcohol. Just before arriving at the Liquor Store, there is another mart, and at first I was anxious so I went in, but the employee at Ernie's store said that it wasn't that clean.

Walkability: They say Palo Alto is very safe, but when I asked someone who lives here, they said it was really okay to walk around at 11 o'clock at night. But it's really dark and the street lights are very high. So, they don't clearly indicate the path I'm walking on, but since it's America, I think I need to be mindful of safety while walking. In my case, the two of us walked 10 minutes to Ernie's liquor store to buy alcohol, and although there was nothing on the road and it was really dark, there were no major problems. I had a good time.

Food and drinks: Breakfast was a lot better than I expected. A lot of American food is just salty, but the sausages here are salty, and the potato tater tots and scrambled eggs are a bit bland, but the combination is good. There are also mini salt and pepper packets, and a Mexican sauce packet called Tapatio, and this is it. It's very delicious. I'm someone who doesn't normally drink Tabasco because I don't like it, but this one tasted a little different and delicious. So, I was actually very satisfied with this part, and the breakfast was provided in a variety of ways, including coffee (the coffee continued even after breakfast was over), orange juice, apple juice, a pancake maker, bagels, a toaster, and yogurt. I think the menu was the same every day and breakfast was from 6:30 to 9:30.

Noteworthy details: I think you have to wait about 10 minutes for an Uber here. It seems to be a characteristic of this neighborhood, but it takes a while to get an Uber. We used Lyft instead of Uber.

There is a gym”

“My husband booked this place for Independence Day weekend as he predicted the hotel might not be too crowded and he was right . We loved empty pool which was pretty warm and hot jacuzzi. My daughter and I played in the pool for few hours in the evening and the next morning.

The room was really clean and staff were all welcoming and friendly.

The breakfast foods in hotel were subpar while service was great. We ended up having breakfast here because we felt too lazy to walk to Palo Alto downtown but the hotel is actually very walkable to downtown.”

“Fully remote check in. Never seen that before but the person working remotely was a pleasure to deal with. This is really a motel and not a hotel. But it was the cheapest highly rated place close to where I wanted to be.”

“The hotel was close to Stanford and a short walk to the Marguerite Shuttles, which allows you to hop on for free. Overall great stay with comfortable beds, and great amenities.”

“I have stayed here 15-20 times. We just spent 3 days there. It's not bad. The staff has been great. Just be sure to stay away from rooms that are close (on the same side) to the elevators. We were two rooms away, in the Beatles room, and could hear the elevator motors every time that the elevators were used, which sucks in the middle of the night. I mentioned this issue to the desk person when I checked out. I was told that the hotel is going to be extensively remodeled, starting in two months. However, it will become a "boutique" and Kimpton has bought the place. So, maybe the hotel will be quieter, but at double the price. If the future price is Kimpton-consistent, I will stay elsewhere despite the improvements.”

“Hotel Keen boasts a prime location, steps away from a vibrant array of shops, eateries, and Stanford University. The rooms are on the snug side, yet the hotel's charm compensates for the lack of space. A cozy, convenient stay for travelers.”

“Paid $125+ for the night due to a family member having an appointment at Stanford Medical. The double queen size beds were comfy, no issues with the bed springs. The only thing that was wrong was that the room AC system was a little loud when it would turn on during the night. Other than that, we had a good experience for what we paid for.”
