“Whenever I need to rent a truck, I go to Doherty's. Be it a regular moving truck to a lift gate capable one, Doherty's is my go to rent a truck. Easy reservation (just call), smooth process and transaction. In my last 3 business moves, I've used Doherty's every single time. I had an issue with a lift gate once and they were quick to remedy it and even helped me transfer my heavy loads into the new truck. The Isuzu NPR HD truck is my favorite one, it's easy to drive and you have a commanding view on the driver seat (seats 3 people). All in all, I'm always pleased and satisfied with Doherty's.”

“I have never had a better experience at a rental car place. My personal car had recently been damaged and I needed a rental when I was getting my car repaired. The agent assisting me was genuinely friendly and empathetic. He got me into a perfectly nice brand new car quickly and within my insurance budget. I was in and out of the store quickly. “I've used Enterprise Rent-a-Car exclusively for all the rentals I have needed for quite a number of years. I recently had what began as a slightly UN-pleasant experience (the car I picked up had a light on the dashboard indicating something was wrong) but Enterprise immediately made things better! They gave me a different car (and it was an upgrade from the car I had had originally) AND when the time came to return the rental, they took a significant amount off of the total cost of the rental. Every member of the staff I spoke to were very cordial, friendly, and accommodating, and that counts for a lot with me. I will stick with Enterprise!”

I walked in 30 minutes before closing on a weekend and owner was very accommodating, professional, kind. Deal on last minute booking. Rented a 4Runner and went to Tahoe for the weekend. “Well, personally, I rented a car some time ago withStephanie Rodriguez, and personally she was very friendly and kind of a good car I did not have any problem with her or her service and as for my card she charged me up to 3 days after I delivered the car and what she told me was that they were charged without no problem. Of course, just as she gave me the car, I gave it to her clean, I went and took it to wash before handing it over, the car arrived impeccable, what's more, I don't remember if I checked it because she saw it very clean, but there are people who that same day look at what they took a car all dirty but good is the criterion of each person, I recommend it without any problems to my friends.”

We were able to make the trip with no complications. The van is very nice and accessible even for a large wheelchair. There was room for our caregiver and me as well. I highly recommend this service. “Wayne was fantastic. He thought the car I rented was too small, and offered me a choice of a van or suv. I chose the van - Chrysler Pacifica - and had a fun time for a week.I was renting because my car was in the autobody shop, and it was taking longer than expected so I rented a RAV4 after that.Budget and Wayne in particular were great at directing me how to get it the best value car and the best deal online. I would give 10 stars if possible, and felt so impressed that I gave Wayne a $20 tip.The location looks rough, but don’t let that put you off. The area is getting redeveloped and so the old steel factory is getting re-purposed. If you’re cool with colorful graffiti, this is the place to get the best deal in town”

We went over the paperwork and I paid for the rental. She answered every question I had. I would totally recommend Budget Truck rental. They have very fair prices and amazing staff.”

I highly recommend this location and Wayne specifically. Another time I came there were a lot of customers ahead of me but today it was clear.”

I work in orinda and have had this nasty noise coming from my rear wheel. 2 mechanics before taking it here told me they were “unsure” what the noise was. Jaimie, an incredible service advisor got me in within an hour of talking to him. Come to find out I was basically driving around a death machine due to bad prior mechanic work. Pete was the tech that got me all fixed and back on the road in an hour ! Would 1000000% recommend if you are looking for a fair, competent shop to take care of your prize possession, or even just your daily driver. Great price too!”
