“Even though Doherty's doesn't take web reservations, it's always easy to do by phone, and the service is quick on the phone and in person. The trucks I rented here were all in very good condition, clean, and easy to operate. The cost can be slightly more than some discount rentals, but driving Doherty's feels much safer.”

Specifically, Antanisha “NeeNee” Watson is an outstanding employee. When I made my reservation, I didn’t realize there was no unlimited mileage with my corporate agreement. Since I was driving more than 1000 miles this was going to cost me several hundred dollars. I was going to switch to national rental car, but Nee Nee and her branch manager, Jackie Taylor, stepped in and waived the mileage fee. I’ll never forget this and always rent from Enterprise!”

The process for renting the car was quick and easy.

“Rented from them recently (summer 2024). I booked late (12 hours prior to rental) for a last minute trip to San Jose, and they accommodated me the best they could. I asked for a compact size sedan, but due to low stock that day and some cars with lingering cigarette smell inside, the service rep Tony was kind enough to offer me a clean truck to keep me from more waiting. Tony was very friendly. I would recommend renting from here and will do it again.”

“I rented a car for 24 hours and Zaire was excellent. He apologized for the wait, even though it was for less than 5 minutes. No hassle, not pushy about trying to sell me on extra coverage, just took care of business with politeness and speed. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the car only had one functional speaker (at least that's what it sounded like) and it stopped working after about 2 minutes and never came back on again. Not a big deal for me but if I had a long drive, I would have been disappointed. Other than that, I'm definitely renting from there again since it's so close to my house.”

“The people working at this Avis went above and beyound to make sure I was happy with my rental car. The 5.0 mustang was perfect, and it was easy to return after hours.”
“I came here one time before. The people who owned it were a couple and they were horrible and went to the Gilman location instead. I came back recently and realized the old, rude and unprofessional owners were gone and the place is under new management by the two guys from Gilman.
Talk to Tien and Wayne and they'll give you the updated rates right then and there. They help you with even the electric vehicles if you don't know how to use one. These two guys leave me confident that I am in good hands.”
“I've rented cargo vans here quite often and they are always clean and reliable. Easy drop off after hours with key drop box. Staff is friendly and quick. There are places that are closer to me but this place is worth the extra drive.”

“Good experience. Kind and helpful front desk staff, responsive to phone calls and questions. Almost an empty building and not a huge selection of cars in house but they seem to transfer cars from other locations all the time. Good clarity on policies. Cars clean, in good condition, sanitized and smooth driving.”
“These guys are the best. They did not have to be as good at their job as they were, but they were on top of it. Managed to leave our house keys in the rental came back an hour later, hoping to find it and the fantastic people at this Fox Rental outlet Found them right away (All while helping other people to their cars Super efficiently) they also have a below market rate on gas for the car. So having them fill it up is actually saving you some money. Can’t recommend them enough, plus they are super nice.”

“I've rented numerous cars from this location and have never had an issue. They are always friendly and helpful. The location can be challenging to pull in and out of but I'm used to it at this point. I'd say the only downside is that since this isnt at the airport, they dont have the largest selection of vehicles but that is to be expected at one of these off airport type locations.”

“The staff was very helpful. They had to change my vehicle twice - the staff missed to notice that the first vehicle they gave me has been smoked in. The second vehicle they provided me with had a broken window, so they had to give me an older suv even though I booked a car to save on gas cost. The Suv was a nice upgrade but defeated the purpose of me trying to have a vehicle with better gas mileage for my trip. I did not mind that suv had quite a few dents and scratches, and the area around the seats was dirty. The main issue was with the front tires. They were almost bold and shook quite a bit on the highway. The staff, though, was very polite and helpful.”
