“We had a wonderful tour at Alice House with Jacarre. She was very knowledgeable about the living spaces and the surrounding area. She was also very personable and made us feel welcome.”

“Great location and love the monthly community events that help us get to know our neighbors! Crystal in the leasing office is such a helpful and friendly person and the front desk staff are really wonderful and helpful.”

“It's a great place to live - in so many places the maintenance is sloppy and half hearted - not at Aqua Via! Bryant is super on top of things and whenever something goes wrong he's there in a flag to help resolve it. It makes this such a lovely and low stress place to live.”

“Overall, living at The Logan has been a wonderful experience. The building is nice and quiet. Maithy and Kevin are kind and responsive. Bonus points- they have the best dog treats at the front desk!”

“After a month of living here, my initial doubts have turned into genuine appreciation. The staff, particularly Jennifer, has been exceptionally helpful and prompt in addressing my queries and concerns, even when immediate answers weren't available. Her ability to speak Spanish has been incredibly useful for me and my parents, especially when faced with questions that are challenging to translate. (Being in customer service myself, I can recognize her sincerity and dedication to her job). Asan, the maintenance guy, also goes above and beyond in creating a welcoming atmosphere for all tenants. One time, despite his day off, he swiftly resolved a gate issue and even assisted my dad with a sofa during the move-in process without hesitation. The apartment has been issue-free, quiet, and functional. The secure and welcoming environment, coupled with the helpful staff, truly sets Telegraph Arts apart. I'll keep you posted on further updates, but so far, it's been an impressive experience.”

“My wife and I recently were looking for an apartment in the Oakland area. We found the building manager, Heidi, to be accommodating, kind, and easy to work with in our process. Ultimately we chose to live in a different neighborhood that was more convenient for my commute to SF. However, we very much appreciated Heidi's responsive communication during our application process. Management was a bit more thorough than other buildings and we have high confidence this creates a strong sense of community in the property. We also got the sense that the building and residents are taken care of well by a management team. This isn't the case in all buildings from our research. In many ways, we were sad to not have moved in and if we decide to move closer to the lake in the future we wouldn't hesitate to choose this building.”

“Lisa did such a wonderful job showing us available units. Her knowledge of the property was outstanding along with her representation of her home, Oakland, and the company, Windsor. She did so well that we filled out an application and have now signed a lease with Allegro. Great job Lisa!”

“I can't believe it's taken me 7 months of living here to finally write this review. If I could give 17th/Broadway 10 stars, I would. My husband and I have lived in 7+ rentals in the past decade and this is our favorite. The staff here deserve recognition! From the moment we toured with Erika, we loved the building and her positive, vibrant energy. Gina, property assistant manger was also fabulous, down to earth, caring and genuine. Tatiana always greets us with a smile and is easy to get a hold of when we're out of town and have packages. Finally, the dynamic duo of Anthony & Arnold are amazing, friendly, professional and very prompt whenever we had minor maintenance issues. The building is in great shape and has amenities (hot tub, pool, gym, rooftop spaces). The parking is very secure. The location can't be beat (right above the BART) making it easy to get in/out of SF. The area has lots of restaurants and is safe. It's our first time living in California, and we got lucky choosing this spot.”

“I move. A lot. So, I've lived in my share of apartment buildings. 1200 Lakeshore is, by far, the best managed building I've lived in. Everyone who works here is the best. They know the residents and their pups. Mrs. Hudson misses her neighbor, Christiana and her daily ear rubs. Maintenance is fast and seamless. The management is top-notch. They have events and doughnuts for morning commuters every once in a while. The front security staff are friendly and professional and the building is super secure. Proximity to BART and living on Lake Merritt is amazing. The spaces are large and open. The residents are also fantastic. Say hi to Maya the bulldog if you move in. She loves some love. Now, not everything is always perfect. The building is amazing, as I said, but the noise is a thing. I'm a city person so the sounds of a city aren't new to me. The units facing 1st Avenue are NOISY. If this is something that doesn't bother you, then you're golden. If you're sensitive to that, opt for a higher floor on the lakeside. It's in Oakland. There is crime. Like all cities. Don't complain about it after moving in and then blame the building management. Due diligence on your part makes life better.Yes, I really lived here. No, I'm not paid nor friends with the management or ownership. It's just a great place.”

“We’ve been tenants at Ora for 4+ years now, and it has continued to exceed and set the standards for our future housing needs. You really can’t beat the location, with Downtown just a few blocks down, Snow Park and Lake Merritt a stone’s throw away, and 19th St BART & AC Transit within walking distance. This is what living in an apt complex in a major urban center should be like! Nature + public transit + vibrant businesses.Big kudos go out to the Property Manager, Kelly P., who has taken over duties from Sindy, who had a rather mixed record among tenants. Kelly’s as emphatic as they get, always eager to hear feedback (big & small) & very action-oriented.Oakland is going through a bit of a rough patch (2024), and that has put some residents on edge. Kelly, along with Carlos, didn’t hide away from these challenges, and Kelly launched the very first Building Safety Meeting, an open forum for residents to engage with Ora’s managment. In just the past few weeks, Ora expanded the services of OnView Integrated Solutions (a security company) by having them patrol premises btw. 6 pm-6 am. Not just that, they added signage in prominent places informing the general public that the property is monitored/protected. More things are in the works, as they require budget considerations & bigger approvals, but such immediate & compassionate steps showcase that Kelly is here to really work WITH the community, not against it. This is sadly not the norm among other market-rate housing options in Oakland, so we’re extremely grateful for all these efforts.I’d be amiss if I didn’t mention the fantastic custodials at Ora, especially Juan, the Maintenance Manager, who really ensures the building is functioning like a Swiss army clock.”

“After experiencing a frustrating afternoon @ other properties, neeesstosay, I was quite “ready” to contend w/, yet, another situation of similar caliber.Upon meeting Isaiah (Burks) @ Domain Oakland @ 1389 Jefferson St., I was truly relieved to find his level of professionalism, succinctness, candor and personability in contending w/ the task of apartment/house-hunting that utterly makes-me-cringe.Isaiah is certainly an asset to the community of Domain Oakland & it’s owners, STYL Residential”

“I recently had the pleasure of visiting 19th & Harrison, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. This hidden gem combines breathtaking views, diverse unit options, an outstanding staff, and a prime location—all at an incredibly affordable price.First and foremost, the panoramic views from the property are nothing short of spectacular. Whether you choose a room with an inner-facing view or a city view, each window frame will give you something to smile and be proud to live in Oakland. The views of Oakland Lake Merritt & Snow Park are very nice and conveniently located across the street, which helps start your morning with some sun.The range of unit options is another standout feature here at 19th & Harrison. The property caters to various needs and preferences, from cozy studios to spacious two-bedroom suites. The units are tastefully decorated, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere that feels like a home away from home. The attention to detail in the interior design truly enhances the overall experience and pays homage to Oakland's culture and love for art.The staff at 19th & Harrison deserves accolades for their exceptional service. From the time I first called and spoke to Jas and then spoke with Sunny, who also toured me, the team was consistently friendly, attentive, and ready to assist with any request. Their genuine hospitality added a personal touch to the experience, making it clear that resident satisfaction is a top priority.Location is critical, and 19th & Harrison nailed it. The property is situated in a prime area and conveniently close to popular attractions, dining spots, and public transportation. What sets 19th & Harrison apart is the remarkable affordability of the accommodations for a building of this caliber and prime location. The building is a hidden gem, and I was surprised by the pricing of the apartments before the special. With the high-quality amenities and prime location, this was the ideal choice that met all my needs but exceeded my expectations. I did some research before touring, and I did not see or feel that those things mentioned in reviews existed here at the property. However, in the end19th & Harrison offers a winning combination of lovely Oakland/Lake Merrit views, a variety of unit options, excellent customer service, and stationed in a prime location—all at a price that won't break the bank. My tour was a delightful experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone seeking a home in Oakland.”

“My partner & I lived on the penthouse floor here in 2020 & for the most part, we loved it! Efrain & Amalia, the maintenance staff, are absolutely AMAZING. We had some issues, but they took care of everything promptly. Joe, the manager, is also great and willing to hear you out/help if you're experiencing issues. I do wish they had a pool and upgraded floor plan interiors to be more on par with newly built luxury high rise apartments in the area. However, the price is reasonable and you get a large space and incredible view of the San Francisco bridge/water/skyline, plus you can't even hear your neighbors! The location is also wonderful and much safer than other parts of Oakland. Overall I would recommend, but be mindful that it's a bit older/dated than other high rise apartment buildings.”

“Place is well kept and the community is really nice. The location is close to a train station so if that is an issue for you I would look elsewhere. No management on property as well. Close to local restaurants, transportation and shops. There is also a trail right next to the building. I do not see homeless people on the premises and packages are secured in a resident access only room.I only gave 4 stars because the responsiveness of the property management needs to improve. Joie is AMAZING and will literally follow up with you and keep you in the know but I can not say that towards other depts there. If you need assistance I would just ask for him to assist because he is always ON IT! Essex should be happy to have him on their staff.”
