“Staying at Churchill Manor made a big difference to our Napa trip. The charms of the historic building and the hospitality of owner Joanna and Brian are beyond words. We were already looking forward to coming back while still there. It’s located in downtown Napa yet feels like pleasant and fresh countryside thanks to its beautiful grounds. It’s no wonder why it has hosted so many weddings.Every room, be it public space or guest rooms, is beautifully decorated and furnished and full of antiques. The redwood panels, doors, and columns quietly speak the history of the house and unpretentiously show off its luxury.Breakfast was prepared with care and quality ingredients, the best we’ve had in a B&B. And from all the attention to details one can simply tell that the hosts really wanted to provide the guests with the best experience. The rooms are spotlessly clean and beds super comfortable, and great water volume in the shower, too. Beddings, towels, and toiletries are all of high quality, just like everything else in the property. This is a place that is proud of itself and sets high standards for itself. When asked for suggestions, Brian gave us such a detailed orientation and recommendations that we saved his map to be used as our guide to future Napa trips. In a nutshell, Churchill Manor was unexpectedly highlight of our Napa trip and we will always return to the wine country.”

“I can't say I'm a HUGE fan of this hotel, but what keeps my husband and I coming back is the overall package. Pros: Wonderful location. It's located in Downtown Napa, therefore walking distance to Oxbow Market, and several of the restaurants in the area. Also it being in Downtown Napa, this is pretty central to the wine region in general, which is a quick drive to Yountville, St. Helena, etc. My husband is a Marriott guy, so this is probably the best and somewhat decently priced option in Napa. There are more inexpensive options, but they are way farther away, and honestly it takes away from the Napa experience. If you're from far away, even if just staying in Napa for the weekend, it is worth the money to stay in this central area to really enjoy wine country. As much as I hate the Napa Wine Train, what I will say is that this hotel is literally located across the street from the launching point. So if you somehow got tourist trapped into this experience, this is a good hotel to be stationed at. Hopefully you're also a Marriott Bonvoy member, because the welcome gift here is a free breakfast, which is a voucher good for a $20 entree at their downstairs restaurant (confusingly not part of the Marriott group). This restaurant surprisingly has a great breakfast sandwich item with English muffin from Model Bakery!!! What a find!!! (usually hotel restaurants are no big deal). Speaking of restaurants, La Toque is located within the hotel, which was a 1 star Michelin restaurant for many years (only recently lost the star within the past year or so). My husband and I dined at La Toque maybe 1.5 years ago, and really enjoyed it!! The other pro is that each time we've stayed here, we always get upgraded to the 1 Bedroom Suite with view of the swimming pool. The room has a kitchenette, dining room table, and balcony, not that we ever need the space. The lighting always seems to be weird in these rooms though, I'm guessing because the roof hanging over the balcony hides the lighting, making it quite dark. The rooms here are a little dated too, and build-grade quality - nothing special like a St. Regis or Ritz Carlton, but decent for a weekend trip here. The common areas are nice though, with a nice looking swimming pool, and fire pit area, which I can imagine is really pleasing at night especially during the warm summer months. Also, parking is a huge plus. Do yourself a favor, save the $25 and park in the street, which is steps outside the hotel parking lot. It's safe in Napa, and you aren't saving any distance really. Cons: The price can be pretty steep - it's no easy cost to consume. The rooms are a little dated, and really nothing special, so therefore it makes it hard to justify the cost for the room itself. Overall, I think the package of this hotel is good. The location, being able to get an upgrade, free breakfast voucher, free parking (across the street), nice common areas, are a wonderful plus. Just rooms and price overall a little high, but unfortunately this hotel knows its self worth.”

“Stayed one night in this lovely hotel while in Napa. I booked this hotel primarily based upon price and the hot tub. Unfortunately the hot tub had been out of service a few days and during my entire stay. The room was nice, although small. Nice amenities and bedding. The room faced the parking lot and main road. With the windows closed, the room was soundproof and minimal noise. Location was walkable to downtown napa. About a 20 minute walk. Free parking. Nice breakfast, nothing to get excited about.... But appreciated having the free breakfast. Service was excellent at check-in and during breakfast.Rooms: The room was small, however the bedding was quite nice and I had a good night sleep.Safety: Hotel and location felt very safe.Walkability: Hotel is approximately 20 minute walk to the downtown area.Food & drinks: Breakfast was pretty typical continental.”

“Very nice Inn that the rooms are like hotel rooms. Very impressed as a typical traveler. My expectations were medium going in but you’ll enjoy the rooms, free breakfast and comfortable lobby to enjoy free happy hour wine and charcuterie. I would stay again. Not in the middle of downtown which allows it to be much more of a value.”

“This was a girls trip to experience the wine country. Our location was walking distance to Walmart but also a nice long walk to downtown which is great to exercise. Our room was very comfortable and we felt at home.Rooms: Rooms were extremely clean and had everything we needed to feel at home.Nearby activities: The wine tour picked us up, dropped off our wine to our room and took us downtown. Excellent customer service/Safety: Two women and we felt very safe to walk everywhere in the vicinity.Walkability: We walked to downtown Napa 3-4 times.Food & drinks: Accross the street is a great restaurant and card room.”

“The short of it: I gave this place 4 stars because I did genuinely like it. It deserves a solid 3. It needs a lot of work, but has much to offer as well. The staff (Charley especially) were great and cooked nice breakfast each morning. It would be nice to be able to either have a little more choice or input (no bacon for me, thanks) into the options. There is much about the place that is in serious need of repair; at times the hot water was barely warm, the shower in a claw-foot tub needs to go, the hvac in our room constantly put out cool air (we finally just used the electric heater in the room), the copper pipes need a good polish. But there is still a charm to the place and it is in a great location. The sheets were clean, hot water was available for tea, the breakfast was great (too late in the morning for me personally, but still delicious). I hope the owner spend some time and money and fix the place and services up properly for a much better all around experience.”

“I think the hotel itself was beautiful but the facilities were not kept up. Our Balcony had spider webs and dust everywhere. We weren't aware that the balconies wouldn't be separated. The bar was nice and chill. All of the perks that came with the room was nice also.”

“We spent New Year's Eve here for a night and it was the best decision. We always try avoiding staying at home for New Year's Eve because our dog barks at the fireworks that our neighbor play illegally, which wakes up our toddler who goes to bed early. Upon our checkin, the front desk employee was very friendly and patient. She greeted us with smile and wished us happy holidays and great stay. The entire facility is very clean and modern. We had the two beds and the room was spacious enough for our toddler to enjoy her time in. The beds were very comfortable as well; all of us slept through the night without any issues. One star off because when we tried to check out, we waited longer than expected. We walked in heard two employees in the back room chatting. I'm confident that they heard us walked in because we had to constantly asking our toddler to stay seated at the couch instead of playing around. There were many breakable things at the lobby so we tried to prevent her from breaking anything. Otherwise, great stay and would definitely come back here.”

“My wife and I stayed here three days and absolutely loved this place. They served you breakfast every morning. Had a beautiful bottle of wine and cheese at 5 PM, a refrigerator with drinks when needed, and all the amenities you need. The room was clean, temperature controlled and spacious. The employees are super friendly and answer any of your questions. It's located close to everything down Main Street just a few minutes walk away. We highly recommend this place to anybody and will definitely come back with more friends and family in the Spring.”

“They opened up the Wine Valley Lodge to The Covid19 victims. It's been a really nice here, soft beds bathrooms are great quality, and cable TV! The pool is not open yet because they don't want people getting too close to each other because of the covid-19 social distancing same with the picnic area is designated to the Smokers”

“The hotel is very beautiful. The rooms are spacious and everything is very clean. It is in an area where there is not much around to see, but the hotel itself has many spaces to relax.”

“I had a fantastic stay at the Andaz Napa, deserving a five-star review. Its location is unbeatable for exploring Napa, and the rooms are among the nicest I've experienced—spacious, modern, and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, albeit slightly pricey, but overall, the quality made it worth it. Highly recommended for anyone visiting wine country.”

“We have stayed here several times when in town visiting family and will again our next trip. We had a minor issue which the front desk brought the General Manager into assisting us and the sign of a well run business is rectifying issues to guest satisfaction. The staff is amazing and a great location for us.”

“Don't go in off season if you want to relax.Front desk was rude.No one told us the meritage was under construction when we called to make the reservation. We walked into the construction lobby as there was little to no visible sinage that we were supposed to go all the way across the street to the grand reserve. We were put in a room where our view was a broken down fenced off hottub and altgough it was fenced off with fake vines for the guests walking around. we could see the derelict state of the hottub from our balcony. After going all the way back to the grand reserve they moved us to another room all the while telling us that the second room is dbl the price, which seemed tacky to me. We then faced the ice rink which was neat. Till u realize the music pumps loudly (heard over tv inside)till 10pm.We were looking for a nice pampered getaway for a cpl nights. Since we were paying more than twice what we paid for tge norm hotels. I.e. holiday Inn etc, we hoped there would be something included. Aside from the clout of saying we went there NOTHING was included. The skating was $25usd pp. Which should be free for guests. As well as parkingNo breakfast, the grounds we all under construction and desolate. (We knew we were going in the off season, but this was absurd)I want to bring up a wonderful establishment in Canada called Sparkling Hills. 8 different types of sauna, infinity pool, cold and hot leg circuit pool and a beyond luxurious breakfast buffet all included with the price and with the Canadian exchange is actually cheaper than Napa. Oh did I mention sparkling hills is littered with beautiful Swarovski crystals, every room feels like luxury and I never felt treated like a vagrant. Which is exactly how I feel we were treated by the front desk lady upon checking in. Don't wanna call her out too much as it's a company training/hiring issueI will say Trey or Tray, from the valet service was very kind and probably one of the only ppl that didn't treat my partner and I like vagabonds.Rooms: Rooms were meh at meritage and nice at grand reserve.Nearby activities: Nothing to do without a cost unless you're walking or riding your own bike. Which isn't great in the wintery rain.Food & drinks: $19USD for 2 undercooked eggs potato and bacon (no toast) from olive & hay. Just flabbergasted at nothing included.Noteworthy details: We went for a 40th bday hurrah and we were soooooo disappointed in the experience.”

“SUMMARY: Beautiful grounds, almost elegant rooms, excellent restaurants, poor general serviceThis hotel is almost like two different hotels. One has beautiful grounds, very well appointed, almost elegant rooms and excellent restaurants with friendly and responsive waitstaff. The other has very poor general service: it took the valet 15 minutes to answer the phone which was better than the front desk and housekeeping which NEVER answered the phone during the four times that I called. I had to walk to the concierge desk to ask for a bag of ice which still took over 1 hour to be delivered.”

“Overall good experience except checking in the young Asian girl at the front desk didn't seem to understand or respect the diamond member and then said I was gold and I convinced her I was diamond when she looked it up it just got stupid by the minute she did not say thank you for being Diamond member or any of the normal Hilton expectations”

“We spent 2 nights here. Firstly, you can't beat the location, it's right in the middle of downtownNapa. And the concierge was very accommodating, both at check-in and checkout. But...I can safely say I barely got any rest here. This is more of a motel, not a hotel. The room was very small for the price we paid, the heater was incredibly loud and worked only half the time(other half we were freezing since we were there in February), the sink was clogged, blow-dryer didn't work, and the walls are ridiculously thin. You hear everything from the neighbors and outside. The room was very clean indeed and we had no trouble parking at night- but I doubt I would return here.”

“This place is fantastic! Recently totally upgraded, we walked into a clean room without yucky old carpet but designer wood vinyl flooring, and all the bathroom and beds and decor updated. Colors of light grey, cream, and white. Got in to our room right on time. The owner and his wife, Raju and Darcy, very nice people. Best part...the bottom of the bed under the mattress lights up through motion detector so you can see your way into the bathroom in the middle of the night...then shuts off. Highly recommend...very clean and made to be cleanable....”

“This is no longer a Motel 6. It is a shelter in place now for those that are homeless with a plan to get housed. Thank you, Napa. I'm one of the residents very proud to represent . ”
