“This hotel offered so many personal touches including snacks, filtered water, robes, and daily breakfast (changed every day). We opted for one of the cottages during our stay as we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. The two-sided fireplace was nice and the bed was extremely comfortable. The linens were so cozy and the heated bathroom floors were an absolute plus. We recommend this place for a nice, secluded couples getaway. We appreciate the staff taking good care of us during our stay.”

“I cannot begin to describe how wonderful it was staying at Sonoma Bungalows. I went to Napa/Sonoma to celebrate my birthday in September and my bestie came along, we had the best girls trip! We stayed in the studio unit and it was perfect for us. Location wise it was great and right at the center of downtown Sonoma, making it easy to walk to Whole Foods and restaurants nearby. Our entire stay we felt very safe. The unit was extremely clean, the kitchen was stocked with all the supplies needed to cook (minus the food of course), and to our surprise the bathroom floors were heated! Upon arrival I was greeted with a birthday card, chocolates, a bottle of champagne AND a bottle of red wine, all complimentary. The staff was beyond kind and Valerie did an excellent job at setting up our accommodations. Valerie made herself readily available via phone/text during our stay. There are 2 fire pits in the front of the property that you can hang out by during the evening and bikes/helmets are available upon request to bike around town. I will definitely be staying at Sonoma Bungalows during my next visit to Sonoma! Thank you for the beautiful memories!!”

“Check in on 4/2/24. Room 200 on 2nd floor. View of street. 2 rooms- cal king and twin pull out bed. Very cute hotel with lots of Parisian charm. Greeted and got an upgrade by a friendly concierge who also gave us a quick tour of our room. Bedding was wonderful from sheets to duvet- Serena and Lilly. Claw foot old school tub. Bathroom sink could use more counter space. An actual key to room door and not a card. For 5$ person, you get complementary crepes, Joshua tree dark roast coffee, and pastries for breakfast from 8-10am. Beware of very narrow staircase, wood floors are squeaky hence so many rugs so walk with caution. Came here for a quick spontaneous birthday to celebrate by 46th with my love. Thank for a wonderful memory.”

“Late night perfection! We got in for vacation pretty late and were looking for a place to eat and I’m so glad we ended up here. The drinks are incredible. Especially the hot ones. They also have really good pizza and the ambiance is great. So laid back and honestly like you are in a Swiss hotel. If you are looking for something unlike anything else in Sonoma you have to stop here.Walkability: This is right in the square so its wonderful for those without a car.Food & drinks: Amazing and unique food. One of our favorite places to eat during our trip.”

“If I could give service 10 stars, I would. I was and am so thoroughly impressed by the level of service and customer service we received during our stay the last few days.CRAIG, is an absolute gem and was single handedly my favorite part about the trip. From the moment he met us at valet when we arrived, to setting us up with a fire out, s’mores kit, and a golf cart ride back to our room on our last night. He was so attentive and truly thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The level of service he provided was UNMATCHED.Daniel, David, Emerson, and Ryan were also so incredible. We needed to use the golf carts often during our stay and they all arrived promptly with a smile and great conversation.Pat, the shuttle driver was an absolute DOLL.The hotel was beautiful, the restaurant was delicious, spa was so relaxing and wonderful, but the guest services staff was what made this experience so incredible.”

“Amazing hotel and experience. The location is perfect to walk anywhere. They have their own private parking in the back and tons of wineries close by or tasting rooms right in town. The decor is traditional and cozy. Transforms you to another time. The fireplace in the room was so relaxing after a long day out and about. While the hotel is in the main center of the city and rooms are all on the second floor, the hotel splurged for thick doors and seals for a quiet nights rest. The service is also great. Very clear and set proper expectations. They offer a free tasting either on site or at their property in Kenwood. GO TO the winery in Kenwood!! It was such a beautiful property and the wine is amazing. Will definitely stay here again.”

“Rooms were clean and had a unique feel to it. The service was great as we were treated with respect, and they were willing to assist us with questions we had. The location is a 12-minute walk to downtown.Nearby activities: Mario's and John's is a nearby bar. This bar is a great example of don't judge a book by its cover.”

“Good little hotel, rooms are nicely decorated with everything you need: fridge, coffeemaker. Bed is comfortable, all is clean. Wifi is excellent, lot of parking spots, price reasonable. Easy walk to several restaurants. Now we have a prefered hotel in Sonoma.”

“Great room rate. Great location a few blocks from the main plaza. Parking is easy & free in front. Cute little house with 4 rooms. Three of the rooms are off the main entryway. I recommend Room 4, it is in the back through the living room & dining room & has an attached bathroom. You don't hear any of the other guests as they're coming & going, etc. The room was quite large & clean. The bathroom was a good size as well. The soap they provide is suuuuper tiny. Thank goodness there was some shower gel in the basket in the bathroom as well as an assortment if other shampoos. Shower had good temperature & water pressure, but you have to really work at pulling the knob up that turns on the shower or you'll have lots of water coming out of the spout instead. There is an iron...kind of a community iron. It seems to dribble a lot...might need replacing. They put pastries & fruit out pretty early for breakfast. There are also instant hot cereal fixings. All in all we enjoyed our stay.”

“This is a spot I had not previously noticed. However, it's location is ideal, rooms very comfortable, free breakfast was decent and I will return again. Highly recommended if you are looking to stay in the South end of Petaluma.”

“My husband and I stayed here for a quick getaway trip to wine country, and we were so happy with the location/service/quality/attention to detail. Upon arrival there were local chocolate truffles waiting for us on the bed. The room was clean and had bathrobes that were so comfy. I'm also a person that loves to have extra pillows when I sleep (six large pillows already on the bed). The fireplace was so cozy to have on during the winter time, and the tv was decently sized. The staff were all so friendly, helpful, and communicative. They really like to utilize text messages as primary communication. Our room was close to the hot tub which was also a huge plus. The elevator made going to the downstairs garage extremely convenient particularly because it had been raining on our trip. The breakfasts were far above average (our favorite items were the blueberry pancakes and poached eggs) and the afternoon wine/cheese hours were another perk we got to take advantage of. Another important and underrated amenity we had was access to filtered water at all times. My husband drinks a lot of water, and we were able to go to the ice machine near our room and get filtered water downstairs easily. The only small and minor miss I would say was that the fresh baked cookies were always really hard. Other than that, great stay for the price we got, and the location is unbeatable. You could walk to so many restaurants in downtown. Will definitely consider staying again in the future!”

“On our way back down from our Road trip north to the Redwoods, we came across this beautiful storytelling town called Saint Helena. We fell in love with the town’s charm and while walking down Main Street I found this hotel… Walking in I felt I had gone back in time… with its beautiful antiques and sweet English garden. Overall, I loved our stay!Upon check-in, Robin, was super friendly and informative on what to do around town… even gave us a 2 for 1 coupon for a winery and pointed us towards the information center across the street. Robin was always more than happy to help … with lots of fun ideas on what to do around or near town… a real jewel. Our room was spacious with its high ceilings and beautifully decorated with antiques. The beds were super comfy with clean fresh smelling linens… plus it had a big bathroom. I am a light sleeper; amazingly I did not hear our next-door neighbors or their baby or anyone else either even though the hotel was full… I slept like a baby every night. We came for one night and ended up staying 3 nights. Since, Saint Helena is close to Napa & Sonoma Wineries, Calistoga and Sausalito… and because of Robin. EVERY morning Robin had fresh fruits, pastries and bottled waters for the guests to enjoy 24/7… unlike other hotels that scurry to remove breakfast away right at 9 a.m. sharp… Highly Recommend Hotel St. Helena.”
