“Highly recommend. I called yesterday to make an appointment for an estimate to fix the bashed rear bumper on my daughter's 2006 Toyota Solara. Miriam said to drop by in 30 minutes. At first glance, Nick said the right way to fix it was to send the bumper out for refurbishing and then he'd paint it on return. Then at my request he circled the car and looked at the variety of other cosmetic "boo boos" and said to fix everything "right" it'd cost more than the car was worth, so for the bumper he recommended pulling out the crease and touching up for $50 instead. Despite the shop being very busy, his crew did it on the spot while I waited and the result looks great. Fantastic service and value all around. Thank you Nick and Miriam for reminding us there's still people with integrity out there who truly put customers first.”

Given this is our only method of transportation, I was very concerned with how long the repairs would leave us sans-car (especially because my last experience with a different shop took over 2 months).Needless to say, I'll be visiting Dave again. After my car warranty was over, I did not see any benefit in going to dealership and getting fleeced with exorbitant charges. Instead I went to Independence Car Service based on recommendation from a friend who has been going there for the past 15 years. I was not disappointed.They were very honest and transparent in their communication from the very beginning. I've seen other services recommending thousands of dollars of repairs after an inspection. The battery replacement was taken care of without any fuss. I also asked for a Tire rotation service and they let me know that I can do that for free at America's Tire since I bought my tires from them. I was pleasantly surprised at such honesty. I know where I am going for any car repairs from now on.”

“Juan, the service advisor, had amazing customer service and was phenomenal at keeping me updated regarding the work I was getting done and answering any questions I had. I did receive my car a day late but that was due to it being the holidays which is understandable. During the inspection of receiving my car I was satisfied with the results of my car, the paint had no “orange tint” and the car was cleaner than when I first dropped it off.”
“Snapped one of the screws for my rear license plate clean off, threaded part still in the car. Took it to the dealer first, they couldn't fix it and referred me here. Car West took a look, was able to drill & remove the remaining piece and replace the screws. Got lucky, apparently, could have been more involved. Car West didn't even charge me for this because it was so quick!”
