“My daughter brought her Toyota Prius to Yarnell's because she had some leaking fluid. Yarnell's was very efficient and affordable and fixed the problem right away. We were pleased. So I decided to bring my Subaru in; I had a clutch that had been improperly installed by a different shop during prior service work, and it was very grabby/juddery in first gear. Yarnell's knew exactly what the problem was and were aware that a specific type of spacer is needed on Subaru's - it's not something that is often even documented by Subaru. But Yarnell's work on my clutch fixed the problem that the prior shop had caused and now my clutch works perfectly. The clutch pedal was incorrectly adjusted by the prior shop as well; and after getting the clutch replaced by Yarnell's I noticed that with the new clutch and the bad pedal adjustment, something didn't feel quite right. When I brought the car back to Yarnell's they were super responsive and fixed the pedal adjustment right away. While I would have wished that they had caught that the first time, I'm still very satisfied that in an imperfect world where "stuff happens", Yarnell's was able to take care of me and get everything sorted at no extra charge. I will be returning to Yarnell's after my great experiences there. (And by the way, their work was less expensive than the prior shop's bodged efforts!)”

“Great service! I have been going to this shop for my regular auto maintenance for three years now. Brady was very honest about the dented oil pan replacement the time I needed a replacement. When the pan was replaced I realized my mileage went up. All other times the maintenance was just replacement of oil and small parts like o-rings and the total charge comes out to be $96.Service: Auto maintenance”

“PD was recommended by Ercan at OG Performance and Tuning. I needed my F30 N26 engine swapped with a custom rebuilt from Miami Engine. They did a great job in less than quoted time. Greg and Akeem are very knowledgable and worked with me on all details. After the swap and E85 tuning (OGPT) we got about 355hp out of the engine on the stock turbo. At first event on new eng. and tune I dropped from 2:03 to 1:55 at a NASA TT event at Sonoma Raceway. I highly recommend them for any BMW work!”

“This place is honest. That's rare. I thank God I found it. Scenario: I needed guidance on the catalytic converter cover another shop installed. Sunnyvale Foreign Car Svc told me the other shop did a good job and that I was fine. No further work needed to be done to deter thieves. Just think if I'd of gone to the Toyota dealership on El Camino. They'd have a list as long as my arm about all the things I should consider, from soup to nuts, and I guarantee you, 99 percent of their suggestions would be hogwash.I'm not going anywhere else. “Snapped one of the screws for my rear license plate clean off, threaded part still in the car. Took it to the dealer first, they couldn't fix it and referred me here. Car West took a look, was able to drill & remove the remaining piece and replace the screws. Got lucky, apparently, could have been more involved. Car West didn't even charge me for this because it was so quick!”

“Highly recommend. I called yesterday to make an appointment for an estimate to fix the bashed rear bumper on my daughter's 2006 Toyota Solara. Miriam said to drop by in 30 minutes. At first glance, Nick said the right way to fix it was to send the bumper out for refurbishing and then he'd paint it on return. Then at my request he circled the car and looked at the variety of other cosmetic "boo boos" and said to fix everything "right" it'd cost more than the car was worth, so for the bumper he recommended pulling out the crease and touching up for $50 instead. Despite the shop being very busy, his crew did it on the spot while I waited and the result looks great. Fantastic service and value all around. Thank you Nick and Miriam for reminding us there's still people with integrity out there who truly put customers first.”

“So glad I found this shop. Elliot and Kurt really know their stuff. I took my Mercedes to another shop close to where I live where they tried and tried to diagnose the problem. After three trips to that shop, they still couldn't figure it out. Then a friend recommended that I gave Elliot a call, who was able to speculate and confirm the root cause in no time and subsequently fix the problem. “My 2018 Mazda cx-5 battery was showing signs of wearing down (had to jump start once.) After my car warranty was over, I did not see any benefit in going to dealership and getting fleeced with exorbitant charges. Instead I went to Independence Car Service based on recommendation from a friend who has been going there for the past 15 years. I was not disappointed.They were very honest and transparent in their communication from the very beginning. I've seen other services recommending thousands of dollars of repairs after an inspection. The battery replacement was taken care of without any fuss. I also asked for a Tire rotation service and they let me know that I can do that for free at America's Tire since I bought my tires from them. I was pleasantly surprised at such honesty. I know where I am going for any car repairs from now on.”

He called and got a quote and asked if he could order the parts to repair his car.
