If you live near the Riverside area, I highly recommend you go and check out his mature topiaries. “I went to find flowers for my front yard, and the selection was amazing! So much to choose from, and so many colors at great affordable prices. I did price comparison with Lowe's and Home Depot, and the cost of flowers were 50% cheaper at Mercado's Nursery. They also have a great selection of fruit trees, but no citrus at this time. Miguel was so helpful and friendly, he was a great help. I will definitely be going back to finish my yard project. Just a word of caution, parking is limited (enough space for maybe 5 trucks), inside the nursery.”

“Milk weed sold here at a good price. (Not treated with pesticides)I called today to inquire about milkweed, and the gentleman who answered the phone knew his inventory and pricing without needing to go check.He shared that they just sold out of their large plants over the past week and what they have now is too young to sell yet. They'll be ready shortly (by next week-- and today is Frirday)SIDE NOTE: Monarchs need more habitat. Their population dwindled drastically in recent years. Help by planting Milkweed and trimming it back 6-10" by 10/31. ♡ It is important to trim it back to help it thrive and also to minimize the potential of OE, a bacteria that is causing many deaths in the monarch butterfly population. If you acquire caterpillars, and find they are dying or Monarchs can not fly after enclosing from the chrysalis, please research the matter. Please do not allow EO to spread. Helping Monarchs will bless you if you choose to care for them.”

“Great prices and a good amount of variety. I bought avocado, apple, pear, and persimmon trees. There were 5 types of pear trees to choose from. The persimmon tree was already producing fruit, so I was able to enjoy those immediately! Delivery was available. So, I was able to get trees that were too tall to fit in my SUV. The owner seemed knowledgeable and gave me advice on how to keep my avocado tree a manageable size. This is now my go-to nursery!”
“Fountains Garden Art is an extraordinary family-owned store. Rosa and Gilbert are true gems and genuinely nice people. It has been my pleasure to do business with them. I originally discovered this company by searching online for dinosaur statuary. I already had several dinosaurs in my backyard, from other sources, but I wanted to have a little more variety. Going to this place was the best decision I ever made. I originally purchased 2 small and 2 medium/large metal dinosaurs at the end of last year. I have been so extremely pleased with them that I was compelled to go back again. I purchased 2 more medium/large metal dinosaurs this past week. I am happy to say that some of the dinosaurs that are featured on their website are already, or soon will be, residing in my backyard. These metal dinosaurs are designed and handcrafted by Gilbert. There are some for sale at the store or they can be custom made. Gilbert is a highly skilled and intuitive artisan. With his unparalleled attention to detail and whimsical imagination, he captures the true essence of these sublime creatures from their majestic facial expressions down to their delicate feet. Whenever you are in the Rancho Cucamonga area, or if you think you might want to have one of these 'life like' prehistoric companions live with you, please make the trip to their store - you will not be disappointed.”

“Inexpensive place to get California natives, which are hard to get- as well as many other plants and trees. As a wholesaler you pay cash or check and they prefer a list of plants you're interested in so they can pull them from their different nurseries in Riverside. Our plants are doing well and at less than $4 for gallon plants, the price can't be beat! Some plants they have now include western redbud, hollyleaf cherry, desert willow, Toyon, salvias, bladderpod and California buckwheat- all important natives to have in your habitat garden.”

“Hidden gem! They specialize in landscape trees and palm trees - saw some nice cypress trees around too that I might come back for. They have a mixed assortment so it might be better to call ahead to see what they have. It’s very mom and pop and the owners are very nice.While they don’t sell actual citrus trees, they do sell some fruits that come from their trees. You can stop by and purchase some! You can even ask Susan the owner if you can pick your own - they often let you use their wagon for your haul. The owners are from Taiwan and are super nice.Also…if you ever need tips on cooking Taiwanese food, you found your people! If you’re looking for ingredients…you may be able to ask about stuff that comes from their own garden. Maybe they’ll even sell their hand made Taiwanese sausages…Just ask! Everyday is a bit different, but they love sharing their love of food with guests!”
