(Not treated with pesticides)I called today to inquire about milkweed, and the gentleman who answered the phone knew his inventory and pricing without needing to go check.He shared that they just sold out of their large plants over the past week and what they have now is too young to sell yet. They'll be ready shortly (by next week-- and today is Frirday)SIDE NOTE: Monarchs need more habitat. Their population dwindled drastically in recent years. Help by planting Milkweed and trimming it back 6-10" by 10/31. ♡ It is important to trim it back to help it thrive and also to minimize the potential of OE, a bacteria that is causing many deaths in the monarch butterfly population. If you acquire caterpillars, and find they are dying or Monarchs can not fly after enclosing from the chrysalis, please research the matter. Please do not allow EO to spread. Helping Monarchs will bless you if you choose to care for them.”

“After 4 failed attempts to check out different nurseries in the area we finally stumbled upon this gem. We were immediately greeted by the employees/owners as they asked us what our needs were. The main woman in charge was able to show us around the nursery, pointing out various options for the vision we wanted. The entire staff was incredibly knowledgeable and even helped us load our truck with the beautiful plants we chose. They have a large variation of different plants, the areas are kept clean, the plants are vibrant and full of life. The staff was friendly to our curious kids and were answering questions along the way.We will definitely be recommending and returning to this nursery as service, selections, and staff were the best!”

“I went to find flowers for my front yard, and the selection was amazing! So much to choose from, and so many colors at great affordable prices. I did price comparison with Lowe's and Home Depot, and the cost of flowers were 50% cheaper at Mercado's Nursery. They also have a great selection of fruit trees, but no citrus at this time. Miguel was so helpful and friendly, he was a great help. I will definitely be going back to finish my yard project. Just a word of caution, parking is limited (enough space for maybe 5 trucks), inside the nursery.”

If you live near the Riverside area, I highly recommend you go and check out his mature topiaries. “Hidden gem! They specialize in landscape trees and palm trees - saw some nice cypress trees around too that I might come back for. They have a mixed assortment so it might be better to call ahead to see what they have. It’s very mom and pop and the owners are very nice.While they don’t sell actual citrus trees, they do sell some fruits that come from their trees. You can stop by and purchase some! You can even ask Susan the owner if you can pick your own - they often let you use their wagon for your haul. The owners are from Taiwan and are super nice.Also…if you ever need tips on cooking Taiwanese food, you found your people! If you’re looking for ingredients…you may be able to ask about stuff that comes from their own garden. Maybe they’ll even sell their hand made Taiwanese sausages…Just ask! Everyday is a bit different, but they love sharing their love of food with guests!”

“Great experience all around. I was really considering seed and then found the California Sod Center's prices at nearly half of what Home Depot and Lowes were charging for sod. The delivery driver was a little earlier than the drop off window, but laid the pallets right where we needed them saving us a bunch of time. I am very happy with the product as well. We luckily got a big rain the week after we put in our roughly 1000 sq ft. Will update after the first mow in a couple of weeks.”
