“After 4 failed attempts to check out different nurseries in the area we finally stumbled upon this gem. We were immediately greeted by the employees/owners as they asked us what our needs were. The main woman in charge was able to show us around the nursery, pointing out various options for the vision we wanted. The entire staff was incredibly knowledgeable and even helped us load our truck with the beautiful plants we chose. They have a large variation of different plants, the areas are kept clean, the plants are vibrant and full of life. The staff was friendly to our curious kids and were answering questions along the way.We will definitely be recommending and returning to this nursery as service, selections, and staff were the best!”

If you live near the Riverside area, I highly recommend you go and check out his mature topiaries. “Nice selection of plants and gardening supplies including bulk soil. Picked up a yd of topsoil but disappointed in that there is no beneficial organic matter. I wish they had spoken up first. What is termed as topsoil elsewhere is not what was delivered. We purchased trees, bare root rises, seeds and flower from Park View. Will need good fertile soil to add to our planters next.”

“Inexpensive place to get California natives, which are hard to get- as well as many other plants and trees. As a wholesaler you pay cash or check and they prefer a list of plants you're interested in so they can pull them from their different nurseries in Riverside. Our plants are doing well and at less than $4 for gallon plants, the price can't be beat! Some plants they have now include western redbud, hollyleaf cherry, desert willow, Toyon, salvias, bladderpod and California buckwheat- all important natives to have in your habitat garden.”

“Listen up, this place ROCKS! I stumbled upon this garden center & nursery driving down Victoria Avenue. Are you a succulent nerd? This is your spot. Got a green thumb? This is your spot. Are you a self-proclaimed garden nut? This is your place. Martinez Nursery offers a wide diversity of young plants, trees, and vines. I especially love the free soil and drainage tips. The staff is knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions (seriously, I think they know me as the lady who asks one million questions). This garden nursery helps me maintain an extraordinary cacti oasis back home.”

“Hidden gem! They specialize in landscape trees and palm trees - saw some nice cypress trees around too that I might come back for. They have a mixed assortment so it might be better to call ahead to see what they have. It’s very mom and pop and the owners are very nice.While they don’t sell actual citrus trees, they do sell some fruits that come from their trees. You can stop by and purchase some! You can even ask Susan the owner if you can pick your own - they often let you use their wagon for your haul. The owners are from Taiwan and are super nice.Also…if you ever need tips on cooking Taiwanese food, you found your people! If you’re looking for ingredients…you may be able to ask about stuff that comes from their own garden. Maybe they’ll even sell their hand made Taiwanese sausages…Just ask! Everyday is a bit different, but they love sharing their love of food with guests!”

They have the right machinery, their workers are very well trained and know their stuff. The price to move the trees was also very very fair so we're super happy. “This is a great Nursery compared to known brand stores, wow, the prices are unbelievable. Whole sale prices Up to 40-80% lower then competitors. A wide selection of plants and friendly salesperson. Only reason I couldn't give it a 5 is due to the limited parking space.”

“Today we were shopping in the Plumbing department at Home Depot on Madison. It was a hot and frustrating day. While we were looking for a new hot water heater, Kimberly - Home Depot support representative - approached us asking if we needed help. We did and she stayed with us answering questions and helping us to make our final decision. She was terrific!
