“We had the loveliest staycation at Rosewood Sand Hill. I made a booking mistake for the night earlier and the staff graciously corrected it. Everyone here is so nice and helpful, and my dog was welcomed by all. The room was beautiful, with a nice view, and the comfiest bed ever. The in-room dining was amazing! Delicious food! The whole facility is in immaculate condition. Can't wait to come back!”

“We recently stayed at Stanford Park Hotel for a business trip and our experience was nothing but spectacular. The coordination with Lauren prior to our arrival was simple, quick, and seamless. Upon arrival, the front desk team was very warm and welcoming - an excellent 1st impression. My room was available quickly and as the event host, I was greeted with a fresh fruit tray. The room was gorgeous, quiet, and extremely clean. We checked out the courtyard area by the firepits and the ambiance was unforgettable. Last but not least, the location is great. It's walkable to the Stanford Park shopping center and nearby offices. We just booked another hotel room block. It's our go to spot!”

“Staff is helpful, rooms are clean but small, rate for the area is very good, don't hear neighbors in the room next to you.9/25/2023 update: breakfast room downstairs is being renovated, so if you want hot water for tea, go to 3rd floor water filter.Walkability: Easy walk to most SLAC meetings, especially the conference room.”

“Every time I'm in Menlo Park for work, I've always been curious about The Park James Hotel. Having finally stayed there, it absolutely exceeded my expectations! From the moment you step inside, the attention to detail in the rooms, lobby, and dining areas is immediately apparent. The decor exudes the elegance of a boutique Four Seasons hotel, creating a luxurious atmosphere. Situated conveniently off El Camino Real, the hotel's location is ideal. The staff, especially our bartender Eddie, was exceptionally personable. General Manager Lyle also made a memorable impact by ensuring our stay was perfect. I'm already looking forward to my next stay at The Park James Hotel when I return to Menlo Park”

“Been here many times and return due to convenience. Past experience with the underground parking is just yucky, trying to find where to go and lug bags through it is not okay. At a rate of over $400 (booked months in advance) on a Monday night I’m pissed that parking on the side street next to their building still nets me an a cost. We checked in the day before arrival as requested so we parked on the street on arrival thinking we were good. We were a late arrival and lucky us got to walk back out to our car in the dark without proper lighting on the street in front of the hotel or the side street to place our parking pass. That’s awesome and not convenient. They are pricing people out and that is a shame.”

“The staff was absolutely great. I loved everything at the hotel. So I inquired about other properties. The general manager Marsha was lovely, impressive, and a genuine spirit.Special thanks to Charlene at the front desk. She was very helpful and polite.Rooms: If you love contemporary with pops of color and the lighting is perfect. There wasn't a thing missing!! Beds are also comfortable for a good nights rest.Nearby activities: This is located in a business park and several car dealerships where nearby.Safety: You will want to valet and may want to walk alone from the self parking garage it's not attached.Walkability: Not recommended car is neededFood & drinks: Loved the coffee and breakfast. The dinner and lunch, the presentations are great but lacking in taste for the cost. Area for dining and drinks have more than one area for seating. It can accommodate more than one mood in different areas”

“A group of us stayed 5 nights to celebrate the New Year and attend concerts at the Guild. It was perfect for our group. There were spaces where we could all hang out together. The hotel was clean and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was great. Everyone was happy with their experience. We would definitely stay there again.”
