“I stopped in last night for the first time ever and I was cutting it SUUUPER close to closing time. I ran in and quickly said I already knew what I needed so I would definitely be done before 630. The owner was very calm and polite; she reassured me about the time, AND she took the time to help me and make sure I got what I was looking for. She asked about my dogs and I told her about some of the issues they have been having, and I ended up getting something just a little different, from the same brand they are now used to, that seems like it will better suit their needs.On a further note -- we have been going out of our way to get our dogs' food because the local place we would go to stopped carrying it. This quickly became very frustrating because every time we would drive out there, we were only allowed to buy one bag. The second to last time I went, after I was already at the car with my one bag, the same person who never allows for more than one bag tells me, "you should have got the 50lb bag" ?♀️ ... WHAT?! There's a 50lb bag?! After all the times I told her we have 3 large dogs, she tells me this now?! Mind you, I had stopped looking around when I would go in, because at that store, they have to get the big bags for you, so, already knowing what I needed, I just started going straight to the counter and asking for the 30lb bag.The last time I went, I asked if I could get 2 bags... she said if I wanted 2 bags, I had to go back around 330... so then I asked for the 50lb bag, and she says they do not have it.I ended up going to the dog foods website to see about purchase options, and to my surprise, it listed PAWramount as a carrier!!I could NOT be more happy about this as not only is PAWramount just minutes away, but they are also SUPER polite. They clearly show how much they care about their customers, AND... I WALKED OUT WITH A 50LB BAG, and RIGHT AT 630???????.YAAAAAAY! ?”

Janet answered the phone and informed me that they do in fact do these types of procedure and more. She was kind enough to inform me what time I should come in and helped me every step of the way. Staff here are very knowledgeable and can help you in any questions you have. I want to thank you guys for helping me and my sick dehydrated puppy today. “I came here for a dog adoption event that was organized with Ozzie and Friends. They have a back room that they use for events like this. There is also a clinic in the back. And an area that is gated so that we could interact with the dogs and learn a bit more about their personality. Since they partnered with them, when I adopted my new puppy, they gave me a 10% coupon that I could use. So I got a new harness and some training treats for her. They were very helpful when I had questions about which training treats I should get. It been a while since I've had to train a puppy so it was nice to get some advice. There is also a dog washing station in the front. It was pretty crowded the whole time I was there.”

When I requested some specific items they kept in low stock, they increased their stock of those items to accommodate me. I’ve become a regular here. “Exactly a year ago I stumbled into healthy spot with a dog who had been spray painted blue that I randomly found wandering through DTLA and came in for a grooming. Out came out Luz. I didn't have much to go off of, I had never groomed any dog at Healthy Spot before. After leaving that day with a newly fresh dog, I realized how amazing Luz was. Today I brought in my first dog. He's 9, (and officially siblings with the blue dog I mentioned earlier). Gosh. To have a groomer so honestly tell me what ways I could be better with my dog at home, and unabashedly told me what was causing some of his pain, was incredible. I am a first time dog owner. Although I have had my dog for a few years, I'm still a forever student when it comes to being a parent. I so rarely find vets that will tell me exactly what I can do to make sure my dog is comfortable at home, so to have Luz, outright tell me what was causing his pain, which was absolutely avoidable on my end, I am forever grateful. Luz put my dog and his well being over everything else. Luz did such a fantastic job grooming him - and I wish I could do more than just write a silly Yelp review. So I hope this gets some traction at Healthy Spot and groomers that go above and beyond get rewarded because today, the service, was exceptional. Thank you for making sure my dog is comfortable and educating me on ways I can do that at home. It means the world to me.”

“It's been a year and a half since I last came back here. I bought some chili rasboras and have set up some new tanks since then. I came in and the employees were welcoming, making sure I can ask them anything. What I love about this place: - A bunch of product offerings for reptiles, freshwater, saltwater, dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs etc. - Their tanks are maintained and cleaned pretty well! - Their fair prices - store lighting - UNS tanks, sand, aqua soil - bunch of other necessities for fish keeping hobby and aquascaping - cute cat!! Cons: non that comes to mind”
