“I stopped in last night for the first time ever and I was cutting it SUUUPER close to closing time. I ran in and quickly said I already knew what I needed so I would definitely be done before 630. The owner was very calm and polite; she reassured me about the time, AND she took the time to help me and make sure I got what I was looking for. She asked about my dogs and I told her about some of the issues they have been having, and I ended up getting something just a little different, from the same brand they are now used to, that seems like it will better suit their needs.On a further note -- we have been going out of our way to get our dogs' food because the local place we would go to stopped carrying it. This quickly became very frustrating because every time we would drive out there, we were only allowed to buy one bag. The second to last time I went, after I was already at the car with my one bag, the same person who never allows for more than one bag tells me, "you should have got the 50lb bag" ?♀️ ... WHAT?! There's a 50lb bag?! After all the times I told her we have 3 large dogs, she tells me this now?! Mind you, I had stopped looking around when I would go in, because at that store, they have to get the big bags for you, so, already knowing what I needed, I just started going straight to the counter and asking for the 30lb bag.The last time I went, I asked if I could get 2 bags... she said if I wanted 2 bags, I had to go back around 330... so then I asked for the 50lb bag, and she says they do not have it.I ended up going to the dog foods website to see about purchase options, and to my surprise, it listed PAWramount as a carrier!!I could NOT be more happy about this as not only is PAWramount just minutes away, but they are also SUPER polite. They clearly show how much they care about their customers, AND... I WALKED OUT WITH A 50LB BAG, and RIGHT AT 630???????.YAAAAAAY! ?”

“I found Bellflower Birds by luck, i was looking for a place that sold bird food by bulk (couldn't find any business's locally) & this place had what i was looking for.
Oscar, the owner was very pleasant, helpful, knowledgable, & also assisted me quickly & very efficiently with trimming my parakeet's beak it was so curved in but thank goodness Oscar gave me hope & expressed her beak was fixable which was a huge relief, Oscar was very gentle & demonstrated care, he used a sterile technique which was amazing!!!
He has a variety of beautiful birds to purchase.
I will definitely return to stock up on bird feed, & any birds necessities.

“I love the friendliness of the staff however I brought 12 fresh water fishes by day 3, 5 are dead. I don't live near this business so their 24 hr return on fish is beyond what I could do. I live almost 3 hrs from this place. I called to see what was wrong or if something was wrong with the fish. I have a new tank no fish has been in the water I had the water tested twice, however the person I spoke to said it could be the water suggested some things to use. Again, fish were still dying after I treated the tank as she suggested. I am deeply sadden by the fish dying I just hope buying fish in the future will not be so traumatizing for me. I'll try a different store, freshwater fish here, I'm not sure being several other tanks was off limits because 1 fish had the icke! I should have left then. Can't post my fishes floating (sad face)
*Update: the owner contacted me and we spoke. He was very compassionate about what had happened to the fish. After knowing that I live far away from his store he helped me come to a conclusion with the purchase I made. Many store owners will not even try to know what's going on just take your coins and keep going. But not this owner. I revised my stars from 2 to 4 because the owner is very professional.

“Blacksmith corner is the only store near the south bay area that sells a variety of poultry and birds as well as supplies that cater to their needs. Their prices are also cheaper than other feed supplies stores in the south bay.”

I was the woman who smashed her little finger in the car door and Taylor and the other young people really helped me bandage up my finger so that I could go ahead and get my dog washed. “Great store for cat and dog owners that want their buds to eat well. Everyone here has been super knowledgeable and helpful. When I requested some specific items they kept in low stock, they increased their stock of those items to accommodate me. I’ve become a regular here. If you love your pets, do yourself and your pets a favor and get them high quality food from this place. All three of our cats now have shiny great coats and it’s due to the better diet. It’s a win-win-win for everyone.”

If you want quality service come to this shop. Perfect for scapers tonnns of selections of substrate and foreground pieces. If you’re in Downey give them your money because it’s worth it.”
“The Paw Shoppe Pet Center is amazing!! I take my dog, Charlie there every few weeks to get his nails trimmed, and Sam is amazing with him! She does his nails every time and she helps to calm his nerves. All of their groomers are amazing.”
“Friendly staff. Lots of fish. All fish I have bought from here survived and had no illnesses. The aquatic plants they sell are healthy as well. The feeder insects are pretty hardy too, they don't die the same day like big box pet stores feeders do.”

“Good spot to bring your dog to get a wash. They provide grooming services, but I came for the self serve wash. They provide all the cleaning products and what not so don't worry about bringing your own stuff.
I'd recommend passing on the "colognes", it's just a spray that you'd probably be better off buying yourself. For my golden doodle, it was about $40.”

Came in today looking for some dog food for a picky eater young lady working the front (glasses w pink hair (didnt catch her name :( wouldve shouted her put personally)) was so helpful and informative she provided me with some samples to tryout. “I came here for a dog adoption event that was organized with Ozzie and Friends. They have a back room that they use for events like this. There is also a clinic in the back. And an area that is gated so that we could interact with the dogs and learn a bit more about their personality. Since they partnered with them, when I adopted my new puppy, they gave me a 10% coupon that I could use. So I got a new harness and some training treats for her. They were very helpful when I had questions about which training treats I should get. It been a while since I've had to train a puppy so it was nice to get some advice. There is also a dog washing station in the front. It was pretty crowded the whole time I was there.”

“I can not say enough wonderful things about the two products I have purchasedMy story starts with a rescued wirehair pointer 2 years old that does not like being groomed and always needs it bad re: sticker magnet . Also we have a 9.5 year old Great Dane with arthritis well my beautiful cousin has a rescue called Lucky Dog Rescue of Madera CA she ask others in her tribe about these 2 and referred me to this company ! I can now trim and brush my wirehair easier with cbd drops and my Great Dane is jumping around with chews Miracle Thank You Thank You Thank You”

“I absolutely love this place . My Buddy Boy a 27 yrs old Senegal Parrot gets a full royal spa treatment when I bring him here, yes he gets mad at me but you have to take care of your bird too❤️. I enjoy spending time with the rescue birds and chat with them as the cat and I walk around visiting with them. Kitty wants a little love too and I’m happy to give it lots of love as well ?.”

“Excellent service. Staff were very helpful and attentive. When I explained what I was looking for one of the gentlemen went above and beyond in explaining what I would need and giving recommendations. The product selection is good but a lot of stuff seems like it’s been on the shelves for a while collecting dust. The prices aren’t as good as shopping online but I prefer to support a local business.”
