“We have a large family room and were having trouble finding a sectional that met our needs. My wife suggested we stop in and check out Chartreuse. Ended up ordering a custom made sectional, Chelsea walked us through all the options and answered all of our questions. We got quoted 8-12 weeks for delivery, however, we were pleasantly surprised when it came in within 5 weeks. Our couch turned out even better than anticipated, we had an Ashley sectional prior and you can definitely tell the difference in quality. I'd highly recommend Chartreuse for any of your furniture needs.”

“This was my first time there after a family member told me about. This was cutest store with a variety of unique items to choose from. We went for a customized etched cheese board for a retirement gift. The lady working couldn't have been nicer and explained how the machine worked. We ended up a few other items. “For years this shop was originally on second street. It was fully supplied with items for the kitchen, dining, and other Japanese items. This shop is much smaller, no room to roam around like the other shop, where you could ogle and awe at wares. The owner of this shop is helpful. They have an adequate selection of ikebana vessels from Japan unlike anywhere else in LA. The prices are average considering import costs. Overall this shop is an important mainstay in the Japanese community.”

“Carlos and his team have been my go to art installers for years now. Not only are they Covid safe, but if you want a piece of art (or many pieces of art) hung the right way, please contact him. He has such a keen eye for where the piece works best on the wall, you don't have to do your own measuring. He and his assistant (usually his son or daughter) have all the equipment they need to hang your art. This is a family run business (who doesn't want to support that). I cannot say enough about Preferred Picture Framing and Carlos and his team! He was actually referred to me by one of the most prominent art framers in all of Los Angeles. He is the absolute best in the business.”

“I cant believe that Ive been coming to this store for like 7 years and it FINALLY DAWNED ON ME TO WRITE A REVIEW??! This store is soooo elegant and FULL of splendor and amazing curated vintage and modern pieces. It reminds me of a high end box of chocolates where the box and wrapping and ribbon is so elegant that you feel guilty for eating the candy lol. This place is my guilty pleasure. The decadence comes from the decor and selection but the sweetness comes from the staff. Its a small staff but they work hard to help you find what you are looking for and what you didnt even know you needed in your wardrobe! lol. The owners Marie and Ian are very kind and down to earth and have treated me so well all these years. I am truly grateful to them for helping my little collection of awesome vintage grow. “I was looking for a couch that would fit our needs and not leave my wallet crying. I found Tempo on Offer Up and called to find out they have two locations. We visited one shop and found the right couch for us, but unfortunately only the display model was there. However, they were kind and accommodating and called up the other location to have them wrap the couch and have it ready for us to pick up that night even though it was about to be closing time. We got our couch that night and it has been perfect for us. This place has a lot to offer aside from couches, a great selection at reasonable prices.”

“Custom frames are not cheap. Custom frames for sports jerseys are super NOT cheap so I called around for the best quote in the OC area. Arturo's quote was very competitive so I decided to bring my Stephen Curry, Luka Doncic autographed jerseys and a Luka Doncic autographed poster. He was very professional and provided recommendations as to what border and color will work best for the jerseys and poster. He was very patient with me and I could tell that he's done this for a very long time. I decided to go borderless for the jerseys but double matte border for the Luka poster. The results were spectacular (see it for yourself). Everything was professionally put together and Arturo made the jerseys so that it popped in the frame. The jerseys didn't look sloppy at all and the frame feels very sturdy. All in all, I am a very satisfied customer. If you're in need of a professional frame job, look no further!”

“Such a cute shop! If you're looking for a unique gift, this is the place to look. The assortment of home goods (i.e. plates, bowls, knives, etc.) all look gorgeous and perfectly crafted. Anyone looking for a useful but also aesthetically pleasing item can find it here. I also appreciate that the tables were spaced out so we were able to push a stroller around comfortably without fear of knocking anything over. In the back left area, it also looked like they served Japanese matcha! Gotta check that out next time.”

I went Sage Goddess the other day and she charged $10 for 10 grams of gold copal but I was able to get 2 ounces or 56.699 grams for $3! “I have used Sofas Tables and More to have 2 sofas made, also a window seat cushion and some pillows. Vannesa and Gabriel are both very knowledgeable. They guided us through the many choices we needed to make, told us exactly the timing and cost and all was as promised. The first sofa they made for us is now 2 years old and we could not be happier with it. Due to their guidance it was exactly what we wanted. It is known as the "napping couch" in our house - you cannot sit on it without napping. The second sofa we asked them to make was for our daughter - this was just a year ago - the same wonderful experience and the same very happy customer. We just put in our order for a seat cushion for our window seat in our master bedroom and some throw pillows. Same great service and I am sure we will be equally delighted with this product. Could not be happier with the entire experience and end product!”

“Earlier this year, I bought a canopy bed and 2 side tables from Tara Design. Larissa was so caring, friendly and honest. Another vendor I found online referred me to Larissa. I visited Tara Design and was impressed with the amount of inventory. I bought a gorgeous solid dark-wood canopy bed and Larissa had one of her delivery contacts bring the bed to my then-condo and assemble it. After that amazing experience, I decided to buy 2 bed tables and that purchase experience was also stellar. I will definitely return to Larissa and Tara Design when I am ready to furnish my new home. “I went to this store five times. Each time I was offered a welcome and asked if I needed help. Everyone was polite, and when they couldn't answer a question, they immediately got the answer from someone else. I ordered two kinds of tile from them and they offered to order another tile even though they don't carry the line-I was bemoaning the fact that a different tile store had closed. The store is to the south of Jack-in-the Box.The store is hard to find, so use the fast food as a marker. The driveway right past Jack-in-the-Box Is a U shape, so if you turn there, not seeing the store as we did not, you'll get there before you reach Lomita again. The store is on the street. It is two stories and has thousands of tiles; you won't be disappointed.”
