“Called Sharpe Automotive this morning, hoping to get an oil change done on a Friday before Labor Day weekend. Dean was able to fit the job in today’s schedule as long as I could bring it in sooner than later. Wifey followed in a separate car while I dropped off and we would return in a few hours.
Received text updates when the job was in process and after the vehicle was ready this afternoon. Dean reviewed the completed services along with recommended service items from normal use (tires) and preventative items to consider from the OEM maintenance schedule (spark plugs, serpentine belt) for budgeting ahead.
We were delighted to get the overdue oil change done on the same day and appreciate the explanation on upcoming maintenance costs. Thank you to the team at Sharpe Auto! Have an excellent weekend.”

“I really can’t say enough about this shop , I’ve been here twice they did my suspension for my Land Rover and she drives like a dream ! Recently I had to bring her back for some communication issues with the sensors for the suspension ( nothing to do with prior issue ) and they did everything in their power to find the issues before I would have to take it to the dealer. “Vehicles serviced: 2012 Honda Odyssey & 2004 Lexus RX330I typically do my own maintenance, such as brake pad replacement and oils changes (the easier things). However, when I run into things that I’ve never dealt with, or can’t fix in my own, I take it here.Eli and his team are the among the best mechanics I’ve dealt with. Honest and upfront about what needs immediate attention versus what can be put off for a bit. For example, one issue with my Honda caused an oil leak into the engine. It would have cost me thousands to fix (and I was willing to pay it), but Eli mentioned that it was a common issue with Hondas, and that Honda provided an extended warranty for it. In comparison, the Honda service rep tried to blame me for the issue, and I had to verify with corporate that it was a covered issue.I have recommended Poway Import Auto Experts to friends and family, and wouldn’t hesitate to return for future service work.”

This shop is family owned and operated and i couldn’t be more pleased with the value they bring to their customers. I immediately took both cars to the shop , a subaru and acura for preventive maintenance . Jeff had told me in advanced how much the estimates were and if our cars didn’t need anything additional it wouldn’t make sense to charge me for it. I really appreciate his integrity and being forward with me. Lastly the turn around was 2 days and cars are back on the road doing what they’re intended to. “First and foremost, the point of being in business is to earn money. Plain and simple. There are a multitude of ways to do it and Sparkys, in my mind, is one of the best shops out there because of a key thing called Service and Honesty. I called the shop and told them what I was experiencing with my car. We set up and appointment. Talked to the guy at the desk and answered his questions with the recommendation that he doesn't service my transmission. Because it would be a waste of money. Because of the car being so old and a few other problems. He could have done what was asked and had me come back in a few weeks, months or more and taken more of my business. But, he didn't and for that reason, when a different car is in my name, I'll bring it to them. And I'll recommend all to go here first. Honesty is key. Inflation is up. Things are expensive and everyone needs some $$$ right now.”

“I went in for a check engine light that pulled two codes, bank 1 and 2 too lean. After doing and checking everything I knew how, it wasnt being resolved so I came into Sam's Quality Auto Care on my lunch. He immediately found a leak in one of my hoses and told me it was most likely the issue, fixed it up for free(great value, i love free) , cleared the code and sent me on my way before my lunch even ended. Everyone there is so efficient and kind, Will be coming back in the future.”
