Living in El Cajon, I was excited to find out that John's Automotive opened a new El Cajon branch, on Airport Drive. Shortly after it opened, I had need of their service, and have been happily using them to repair my 2001 vehicle ever since.As with the Allied Gardens location, the El Cajon facility does excellent work and has a wonderful staff. Mathieu is outstanding, and always listens carefully to customer issues and stands by the mechanics' work - which is excellent. If an issue arises from a repair, Mathieu does not hesitate to take responsibility, and ensures that the problem is properly corrected. For me, the willingness to acknowledge errors and correct them is just as important as anything else. We all make mistakes; but, it is the willingness to acknowledge and correct an error that distinguishes a superior business from lesser ones.John's Automotive does offer shuttle service. Patrick, who also does other work in the office, drives customers to and from their home or office.
