The coaches are personable and friendly I feel like they do care about their clients. I enjoy the structure of the class and that coaches will demonstrate alternative exercises. The gym itself is clean and everyone does their part to keep it that way. I didn't know if I would like the whole group workout or partner but I've grown to like it. One of the perks is their water dispenser always so clean and cold at the end of a workout. Another cool feature is the performance 360 application where I can track my weight count per exercise and reps and for being only 1 month I am seeing some progress and also better energy levels. So to me it has been worth the investment I will continue to attend Try a free class and take advantage of first month deal and seek those gains!!”

7450 University Ave, La Mesa“I started at this gym January 2nd 2024 and I’ve been invited to 5 parties, lost 30 lbs, competed 3 times, and continue to meet new incredible people and try new classes! The class floor plan changes each week and follows a similar pattern throughout each day and usually alternates upper body and lower body focus days. At least that is what I’ve noticed. You have the opportunity to do heavier work sometimes and then there is also 4 CrossFit style classes a week if you enjoy Olympic lifting and CrossFit movements. All the trainers are super great that I’ve had so far and are knowledgeable about the movements and mobility! Highly recommend especially for endurance based training and cross training. It’s really helped me lose the weight! They have a few challenges a year and the prices are good and it’s fun to get points! Come to the 430pm class and say hi!”

1810 John Towers Ave, El Cajon“I cannot rave enough about East County Crossfit! I started coming here when I moved to San Diego in 2023. Although there are many great coaches at East County, I have spent the most time with Coach Paul and Coach Erica. Both are fabulous coaches that are focused on preventing injury and helping you become strong and more athletic.I used to think that Crossfit was too intense for me or that I would bulk up. Spoiler alert, it is actually somewhat difficult to build muscle and found that instead of becoming bulky, I have become more lean and fit. And so much stronger! East County offers 3 different options at each workout, level 1, level 2 and an alternate option (like weight vest Wednesday), plus a fun partner workout on Fridays. Any one of any fitness level is able to join with the help of these fabulous coaches.My favorite part about East County is that it gave me a community when moving to a new city. I actually look forward to my 5:15am workout class! Okay, I also really appreciate the focus on longevity and preparing our bodies to be healthy as we age. I highly recommend this gym!”

Francine does an amazing job creating an inclusive environment for women to come and weight lift in small groups. She both challenges you and makes modifications when needed. Classes are well paced and perfect for work schedules whether you need an early morning or evening class. I've learned so much about weight lifting, form, and nutrition from Francine over the years while hitting PRs throughout. A fun bonus is the community outings we do throughout the year. There is no other community like this! Check it out, it is 110% worth your while.”

Kelly and Jess were so helpful and friendly, and the open-air facility is perfect for working out on a beautiful California day. I have trained in one of those popular franchise gyms, our home gym, and a LEO work facility for years with varying degrees of injury and plateauing performance. I have been coming here for a little less than a year for 4-5 days/week and I love it.The programming here is smart and sustainable. I come from the old school white board random WOD days of 2014 CrossFit in a cop gym -- not a really smart long term strategy. For those of you new to the game and intimidated by the idea of CrossFit, know that this sport is truly inclusive of any ability, disability, age, and stage in life -- they can and will work with you! I have "started over" so many times in the past whether it be injury, shifting athletic goals, or pregnancy/post partum and this past year at this gym has been the most encouraging for seeing progress in technique and performance.The camaraderie makes it a community. Being parents themselves, the owners/coaches are also very understanding and accommodating to having my kids here, which makes it that much more realistic for my husband and I to keep pushing through our fitness and wellness goals.”

I like that there are separate sections for hips and abs for more privacy, and the women’s locker room feels relaxing and cozy (never thought I would say that about a gym locker room lol). The spa and massage options for us black card members are also very nice. The value offered is way beyond what you pay for the monthly fee, even if you only make it once a week to workout. Highly recommend! ?”
