“Long overdue review: Ken to the rescue when my 2005 Prius batteries decided to call it quits after almost 20 years. He put some new OEM batteries in (very quickly! think i only had to wait a day) and as he mentioned, my gas mileage immediately improved and the car’s been running great. If any other issues arise I won’t hesitate to seek his assistance again.”

“Pacific German is an outstanding shop. They refreshed the suspension on my 997.2 Turbo and it genuinely feels like a completely different car which is how it should have felt all along.

Shawn was also great to work with since he provided clear communication, photos, honest recommendations, and no upselling. He caught an age-related CV boot issue during inspection and handled it amazingly with OEM parts, fair prices and reduced labor since there was overlap with other work. Pacific German has earned my trust and will absolutely be my go-to shop going forward!”

“Bryce saved me over $2000!! I had a dead FRM from a Mini Cooper, and my mechanic wanted to charge over $2000 in parts and labor. After some research, I found the FRM failing was common and came across Bimmerscan. Although the website was dated and made me a bit unsure, I could tell he knew his stuff, so I called and spoke with Bryce. He said he could fix the FRM, and a replacement wasn't even needed. I ended up driving 1.5 hours where I was met with kindness and a warm welcome from the staff sharing the address. Bryce carried that atmosphere throughout my short stay. It only took 20 min. for Bryce to fix the problem. He brought me back for a detailed explanation with energy and passion for his craft. On top of all this, he's just a great guy who loves what he does. I sadly had to leave and drive another 1.5 hours back, but the experience with Bryce and the staff sharing the address (shout out to Bob and his Coke decor!) made it worth the trek. The cherry on top was the part worked and comes with a lifetime guarantee!”

“Gary and his group over at 949 have been nothing but attentive in getting all of the information together for my automotive repair project. Once I established what I needed, he was able to get the most competitive price available at the moment. In addition, it was nothing but good communication. He was able to set realistic expectations for the length of time the service would take and at that point I'm scheduled for Friday. Thanks, Gary!Post Service Review (Updated 10/27/2023)I think a lot of us like to keep things simple in life.Gary and his group saved me from the "Dealer Trap" ("Oh, I got this car... “So many auto shops are not the most honest business, especially with women. This place is different! Fair pricing, upfront info, and very friendly service. Shout out to Jeremy (I think that’s his name), who spent a lot of time with me explaining things and seemed happy to do so.
My smog guy also mentioned that the work they did installing a new catalytic converter was super clean. I think the people at this shop are honest people who take pride in their work, and that is hard to find!!”

“Been here twice so far. First time my Subaru just had a dead battery so it didn't have enough data in the ECU and it failed smog. They let me know and didn't charge me. Second time I took my sister's car and no wait was done in 10 minutes. Friendly staff and clean waiting room. Price is comparable to other smog centers in the area.”

“I drove my 2012 Mini Cooper Countryman All 4 from New York City to Orange County to visit my family and friends. Two weeks into my stay my poor Francesca (yes that's her name) started misfiring and I was devastated as to why she was misfiring and driving poorly. Francesca is 11 years old with 55,666 miles (which included the mileage driving across country 4 times as a New Yorker I obviously don't need to drive her much). My brother who is a mechanic ran some diagnostic test which showed that the spark plugs needed to be changed. After changing the spark plugs and further inspection he noticed that cylinder 1 kept misfiring and recommended we take Francesca to British Worx OC as they had great reviews on fixing Mini Coopers. When I called and explained the problem Ken was extremely patient, knowledgeable and understood the time constraint I was under as I had to drive back to New York City within a few days. Upon arriving at the shop Ken was personable, friendly and professional. Ken understood my concerns and listened patiently as my brother provided the diagnostics he found. The conversation between them two went well above my head however I noticed that Ken asked well thought-out questions regarding Francesca and what previous work was done. I was impressed and so was my brother. He asked a bunch of questions about Francesca like a doctor and that's when I knew British Worx OC is like a BMW/Mini Cooper hospital. Ken also gave a realistic timeline about how long it would take (which I really really appreciated. Mechanics in New York City typically give me some ambiguous timeline which is annoying especially since I have a busy schedule). Ken provided suggestions of what could cause the problem and asked that she stay overnight so they could examine Francesca in depth. I felt extremely comfortable and I had a strong impression that British Worx OC knew what they were doing. Next day Ken called me with what the problem was...Francesca needed replacement of ignition coils on cylinder 1 however because I was driving back home to NYC and the other 3 coils were very worn and old, I decided to take Ken's recommendation and have all 4 coils replaced. I also appreciated that I was told that my water pump pulley outer rubber surface was cracked and coming apart and that the drive belt needed to be replaced at some point. Well, since I knew I had 2,788 miles ahead of me to drive I didn't want to take any chances of breaking down on the interstate and decided to have these replaced as well. There were NO SURPRISES to what my cost would be. The invoice had suggestions of what could be fixed so I could see what I can do within my budget. British Worx OC gave me frequent updates and as a courtesy fixed my passenger side reflector that fell off during a rainstorm I encountered in Nebraska on my way to California. A repair that was unexpected however very much appreciated. Overall, when I went to pick up Francesca I was truly blown away by my experience and how well she was driving. My girl was fixed running so smoothly and ready to make the long drive back to New York City. The transparency, the professionalism, the work is on a different level of superiority; I've never experienced this level of quality anywhere else before in California or New York. Thank you, guys for giving me a peace of mind and ensuring my Francesca was fixed and fit for the drive across country. Wishing you all much continued success.”

“Antonio has been our mechanic of 5 cars in the family and he and his staff are incredibly fair and generous. Antonio of able to diagnose and repair our vehicles better than any other mechanic in Orange County that I have been to. He’s very honest and if he can’t do the job, he defers it out but it’s very rare. Thank you for your service”

“If you want the best Porsche work done, from maintenance to complete engine over hauls, then you want to go to Vision Motorsports.I went to Vision and was greeted by Lori, the front office manager. She introduced me to Dwain Dement the owner. I enquired about a complete engine rebuild, and Dwain was so kind and proud of his shop and employees that he took me on a tour of his shop and completely explained all my options. What a shop. Complete crate motors are ready to be shipped worldwide. They are Porsche certified engine builders. They do all their rebuilds in-house. I was sold immediately. When I decided to move forward, Steve, the shop manager, was their to help me. He gave me all written upfront pricing and stuck to it. I can't say enough good words about Steve. He's upfront, honest, and really cares about his customers and his shop. He answered ALL of my questions during the engine build and even invited me to see important stages of the build, as they were proceeding. Nick, the lead mechanic, was awesome, too. He took time to answer all my questions, too. He totally cares about his customers, as well. The total experience was AWESOME, beyond my expectations. I'm a motor head, and ALL of the staff is too. I want to personally thank everyone at Vision Motorsports for making my car experience one that I'll never forget.By the way, I got their 3.8 liter big bore track package motor and put that in my 6 speed, cable throttle body 1999 996 Carrera , and it is "FAST" and has lots of "Torque". It puts a "BIG SMILE" on my face every time I drive it. Thanks again, everyone.”

“Went for a smog check for a company vehicle. Nice people took care of me instantly, probably because of the company I work for. However, speaking with the owner, I could tell why a company as big as the one I work for would do business with him, honesty.”

“I just picked up my 2002 RX300. It needed some TLC and an Inner Tie Rod replaced. Geza, Christina (Owners), and Brian the mechanic went above and beyond helping me get her back on the road. Always a great caring, honest, and transparent place to take your car for any work. Brian is probably the most honest, truthful and conscientious mechanic you will find in 1000 miles from this location, he is truly old school and cares about his customers and his work. If you want it done right and don't want all the Shenanigan's Take it here, these people are "Real" and care about what they do, trust me you will never go anywhere else when you get your car back.Thank you Simons Auto Body.”

“These guys are the BEST. If you’re looking for service on your VW, this is the place to be. After thousands of wasted dollars with the dealership, I finally found a reasonably priced mechanic for my GTI. I had a coolant leak repaired for less than HALF of the quoted price from the dealership, got my oil changed, and got my front brake pads and rotors replaced, without breaking the bank. Very fair and reasonable pricing, and phenomenal customer service. Daniel is friendly and super helpful, and he makes sure you know exactly what’s going on and that your car is in good hands. Always a pleasure working with them as they are also very flexible with dropping off / picking up your car. I’m so glad that after 2 years of dealership shenanigans, I’ve finally found the right shop for my car. Highly recommend!!”

“These guys are second to none. I've had tires replaced on a few of my cars and I always bring my business to them. I used to go to Tucker tire but Amato has better prices and better service. I"m a veteran and the owner is patriotic and enjoys having conversations with clients who come in. He's got a great sense of humor as well. Thanks again for the great customer service.”
