“I had these guys construct me a monstrosity of a cover for a large 130 year old antique cabinet. Jesse was the one who helped me, awesome customer service and he knew his stuff! He called me to give me an eta, then they called me on that day to tell me it was done! I picked up the piece today and the lady who took my payment was funny and friendly! The piece it fit perfectly over my cabinet! They did a great job on the dimensions. There was a little hiccup with some scratches, but the boss took care of me, very kindly and professionally. These guys really went the extra mile to make my custom piece. So it's all good in the hood and IThanks, Tap Plastics!”

“I love J&M. They have every fastener you could ever need, and they are incredibly helpful. They were a key partner during our build out of a tiny house on wheels -- something I had never done before. There were dozens of times when we had no clue what bolt or screw was needed for the stage we were at. But Justin and the crew always helped me find just the right thing -- even when I didn't know what it was called! They have a great inventory, and I love that they also carry premium drill bits and Diablo saw blades. If you need any sort of fastener, I'd go here before ever heading to a general hardware store. Below are some pictures of the tiny house on wheels that we built with 30 female high school students. J&M's fasteners were used in EVERY piece of the construction, and we're so thankful to have them as a partner.”

“My boyfriend and I stop by here at least a couple times a month because it's close to his place, we both like supporting local businesses, and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. When it came time to upgrade his grill, my boyfriend wanted to patronize the Moraga Ace. He had spent a couple of weeks researching grills, and we went to several stores to look at their inventory. In the end, the grill we chose was not in stock at Moraga Ace, so the owner, Bill, worked with us directly to order the grill. He and his staff assembled and delivered the grill, then Bill gave us several tips on where to put the grill in the backyard and made sure that we were both comfortable connecting and disconnecting the propane tank, turning the propane on, and lighting the various burners. Then he gave us a few tips about how to grill different types of meats and veggies! He even threw in a complimentary long-handled grill brush. Later that weekend, we dropped in for some non-grill-related items and Bill made sure to greet us and ask how the new grill was working out for us. :)”

“I was visiting a family in Benicia and I have a 400+ miles drive back to SD and I wanted to make sure my coolant was good to go as it was hot. I drove to southampton ace hardware and it was close so I drove to Martinez today. Victor, from ACE Hardware was a God sent. He helped me find the right coolant, got his gear to make sure he wasn't going to burn the splash as my engine was hot. He poured the coolant for me and made sure I was good to go home. The service was beyond excellent. The affordability of their items are wonderful, and the store was well stacked. Thank you Victor. If you own this store- Victor deserves a raise he is a great asset to your company.”

“Today, I received exceptional customer service from Damion at the Rockridge Cole Hardware. He went out of his way to be helpful, kind, caring plus extremely informative about what I was looking for. It reminded me of how every employees has been towards me since Cole Hardware established itself in the neighborhood in 2016. Yes, you probably could get some of their items a few dollars cheaper on Amazon but great in person customer service is priceless. There's an energy to it that is really extremely special these days. “Take a "make + take" class! Ray is just the most knowledgeable yet patient instructor, giving expert guidance, along with a few corny jokes, to help you make something you'll be proud of! I took the 2-part charcuterie board class and though I'm a novice with arthritic hands, I now have the most beautiful creation that all my friends are ooohing and ahhhing over. The class size is small so Ray was able to give each of us individual assistance. My classmates each had different skill levels and comfort zones with saws and power tools, and what's great about Ray's technique is he communicates clearly step by step so even the most beginning level student can keep up with the more advanced participants. Outstanding instructor, outstanding class, so much so that I've signed up for another to learn how to make a lazy susan for my kitchen table!”

“I have alot of tools and harbor freight has great prices. I always end up buying to much cause of the great prices. The only negative things I have to say is one time an employee was very rude to me and in my opinion they need more staff on the floor to help find things ect. Other then that have always have had good experience in the store. I have had alot of people talk trash on there tools but my response is their hand tools have a lifetime warranty and they are a quarter the price of brand name tools (so I could by 4-5 from harbor freight for one brand name one) and have only had acouple tools break and I use them alot but get a free replacement can't beat that. Also I have shopped at many of their locations and have always had a good experience. Highly recommend shopping at Harbor Frieght!!”

Or to look up the item ahead of time and write down the isle and the bay the item is otherwise you'll spend the time ready each isles contents if you don't come here a lot.
