“I worked there about 11 years ago and I was very happy to see it still thriving! My fiance and I stopped in to pick up succulents to use for centerpieces at our wedding that was happening that week. Great selection! We were able to get more than what we needed for our wedding! Will definitely stop by again next time I'm in San Diego.”
“Very community-oriented independent nursery. I love that they frequently host free classes for people to come and learn. There is a good assortment of fruits and vegetables, and I was very impressed how lowly priced fruit trees and plants like grapes, blueberries, and figs were. They are one of the only local shops I can find bareroot strawberries (5 for $3). Also, the seed offerings inside were really good in terms of varieties and prices. They also had onion and garlic (including elephant!). Very friendly staff that seem to enjoy their work.”

Not knowing too much about plants, I was helped by Khaalid and was directed towards plants that would be suitable for my home setup. They were kind enough to patiently explain to me proper plant care without making me feel dumb. The rest of that staff was also kind in helping me at the checkout. 10/10 will be back again!”
“I like this store in general. It's close to my house and there's always a lot of employees to help. It feels like they are very seasonal based so you're getting plants that will grow for the time of year. A lot of items are natural/organic. However the prices all seem super inflated compared to other stores. I want to support a neighborhood store but it's hard to justify with the high markup.”

“I usually go to Genesee Home Depot and they are always really fast with curbside pickup but unfortunately they didn’t have my items. I did curbside pickup here after waiting 15 minutes and no one coming I finally went into the store to wait in the long line. Then the associate tried to give me my order without an item saying it wasn’t included in the order even after I showed her my email receipt. I’d rather pay for shipping than come here again.***** Update. Several staff from HD contacted me after my review to apologize for my experience and offered us a discount. Today Cory, the manager at HD and Allie, a HD employee made a surprise visit to our house and hand delivered to our house a welcome HD bucket with a bunch of HD goodies and a toy for my kiddos! I wish I’d taken a picture to post. Hands down, Cory and his team are AMAZING, they truly go the extra mile (or 15 in my case) when things don’t go as planned with the customer experience.”

“Best prices in town for DG, road 2 base,And many other soils. The rules are you have to wear a hard hat and a bright vest. The soils yard is in the back of the complex and the pay trailer is on your way to the back half way through the grounds. The speed bumps are kinda high so drive slow. Lunch time is usually the best time to go to beat traffic.”

“I am in love with this quaint little store. Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable about the plants. I decided to pick up a prayer plant for my mom because I think they are so neat. I'd been trying to buy a piece of it on Amazon but after seeing it on the shelf, it was calling my name. There are so many adorable items aside from plants. “We found a great Christmas tree at Home Depot. Service from the guys working the tree area was superb. The guy cut the trunk so it was straight and trimmed the bottom branches. He put it ito the orange netting and even offered to load it for us. No need, I was perfectly capable of tossing it into the back of the pick-up. They had Noble firs and Douglas firs that I saw in a variety of sizes. We scored a 6'-7' foot Douglas for $54.98.”
“I want to express my gratitude to this Home Depot. I worked at a nearby elementary school and Home Depot was very generous in supporting the school. When we built a rock garden during the pandemic, they donated any of their opened bags of rocks to us so that our students could paint the rocks for our garden. They come out to local events and they are supportive of the youth in the community!”

“Multiple women's review comments expressed how they could get lost in here. So, unless they all love doing home improvement projects; I had to check it out! I'm definitely not the home DIY or fixer upper kind of gal. That said, the store sucked me in and I was thinking of all kinds of projects I could do at home. Designers talk about updating small things, like the handles on cabinets or drawers. Sign me up! The herb section alone would reel me back in. I purchased lemon thyme, which smelled brightly of lemon in comparison to standard thyme. And, it's still thriving. And, the kitties are enjoying their catnip moments. I definitely will be back for more herbs and maybe a handle or two.”
