“Such a fun place! I didn't expect it to be so interactive but there are so many areas for photos with cool giant Funko pops inside. They have a section to make one that looks like yourself too! It's $30 which is a bit more than I'd personally pay but it was so worth it and a lot of fun. I highly recommend checking out this store.”

“The wife and I were debating between a couple of different strollers at this shop. The sales associates were very informative and not pushy. They were excited to show us the different features and answered all our questions. When we aired some concerns regarding which would be best for us, they helped us weigh the pros and cons and we went with the one we felt was best for our situation. It's a small shop but there's a lot inside to explore and the owners were very informative.”

“I went to top canvas on a Wednesday not expecting to find any Sonny angels because they’re so hard to find nowadays. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by an associate named Angel and he was super helpful! The moment he knew I was looking for Sonny angels, he showed me everything they had! I ended up taking two Sonny angels and a collectors Sonny Angel which was cool! He was super dope and just made the whole Sonny Angel experience better! Customer service was 10/10 and I’ll be back for more Sonny angels lol :))”

“I wandered into this (mostly) vacant mall not expecting to find anything at all, but was very pleasantly surprised to discover the sole shining light at the very back: THE best gunpla model kit store I've ever seen in LA! Their selection is really impressive. On our visit we found several non-gunpla kits and figures that we'd never seen before, which is saying something. We've been to every store on the nearby Little Tokyo strip several times over and often find the same tired inventory shared between most of them. This place was such a breath of fresh air. Plus, not only are the prices extremely fair, but they actually have sale items!! Several Mobile Suit Gundam kits from the latest The Witch From Mercury line were going for 15-20% off, something I've never seen at Anime Jungle or anywhere else in LT. I got the HG Demi Barding for $20, an amazing deal. Highly recommend this hidden gem for all your gunpla needs. Can't wait to go back!”

“Absolutely LOVE this place. My friend and I took a trip out to Torrance to relive our inner 80s kids and we loved every second of it. 80s/90s nostalgia in well organized glass cases with lots of unopened merch, hard to find and rare items. There was also inventory sitting off to the side waiting to be put on display. Toys of the universe indeed... and everything in between. The owner is so knowledgeable and personable; we really enjoyed talking to him. He gave us some "ah ha" info about select items that made it feel like we were in a museum (if you're a true nerd, you know that random facts are like power-ups *insert sound effects here*). We bought a Gameboy at his other location with 2 games. They were willing to make a fair deal and allowed us to test it in the store. This was my first time ever (yes, ever) playing a Gameboy and my heart melted a little bit :)There were many times I spotted an item that took me back to the good ol' days and I had to keep my tears in check. I must have said "I remember this!" over 30 times. We got a few things and are already planning another trip. The prices are reasonable and they also buy items which they can give store credit or cash. Def support small biz by checking out this unique gem. I wish they had places like this out by me in Ventura. Until then, we will keep going back for our nostalgia fix.”

“I visited here about 4 years ago and instantly fell in-love. It was here that I was introduced to such things as Ugly Dolls and those rabbits that smoke...heh. I will always love this place, one major reason is that they also sell a lot of Tim Burton collectibles, and I'm a huge Burton fan. I bought a set of his small figurines while there.”

“We brought our kids here to celebrate their birthday by letting them pick out what they wanted. It was such a special experience!! I loved how everything was easy to see and my kids didn't make a mess by trying to pick everything up to "discover" and if they looked at something it was easy to put back. I don't know why I liked that!! There are toys for all budgets just look around! The girl working was so nice and helpful and really likes working there so that was also nice because I was asking her about their inventory! Thanks for the awesome toys!”

“Great place. When I walked in there were three employees behind the counter, and they immediately greeted me and asked how they could help. I needed advice on getting a gift for a 3 yr old and they were full of suggestions. There are previous reviews warning of inattentive teenager employees, but that problem seems to have been fixed. I'm glad I went and will go again.”

“I visited here with my son last Saturday. I splurged $88 on a firefighter costume If you're willing to splurge a little for a lot of joy, this toy store is where to be. However, if you're pinching pennies and normally buy your kids' toys on Amazon or Target, you will probably find this store pricey. This place is different from your run-of-the-mill toy shop. It has a great location and excellent customer service. Pros: High-quality toys: 10/10, hands down! Beautiful wooden wonders galore. A+ customer service - they're like happiness wizards! Eye-catching displays that'll make you want to stay all day. Cons: Pricey, no denying it. -Street parking by the meters.”

“This is a nice store and just enjoyable to hang out. Sits right on Rosecrans - safe environment, and great selection of books, of course! As far as books go they are well stocked with easy to find labeled sections. They have a vast variety and a wide range of authors, all genres and beautifully set up with a nice array of displays showcased throughout. The store is well organized, well-lit, clean, and spacious. Also, there are a variety of seating areas. Super friendly and knowledgable staff - always helpful and kind! Everyone is caring and insightful and gives impressive recommendations based on your tastes or goals. Kudos to the staff for professional, knowledgeable and friendly customer service. They also make ordering books easy. You can get anything you need and pretty fast. A nice browsing atmosphere with other book lovers. Parking is not a problem at all - as it is nestled in a shopping mall situated between Trader Joe's and Old Navy. This place is a 10/10!!!”

“Mega City One is amazing!! It may not look like much from the outside, but if you love comic books like me, it has mostly EVERYTHING you are looking for to meet your regular comic book fixes!! I've been going to this store for years and they rarely let me down. The owner and JON who's runs the store are incredible and have a wealth full of knowledge. Beyond that, they will go to the extra mile to make sure that your comic book needs are fullfied and you and your needs are fully taken care of. Also, Mega City One far exceeds their closest competition, that "Rotten Apple" place down the street! Forever, for me, Comic Books have always stood for "Truth, Justice and the American Way!" When I visit Mega City One, I feel like I'm stepping into the Daily Planet where hidden greatness can be found. They are so much better than President's Lex Luther's villains lair down the street. Can't recommend Mega City One's excellent customer service enough! They will take care of you and you will NOT ever be disappointed!!”

“I have ordered a few toys from ebay from this store. My kiddo loves the mario kart hotwheels and collecting them. It's hard to find some of the specific ones, this store seems to have those like Rosalina, different colored yoshi etc. One time they shipped it within an hour of placing the order and we received it next day as we live a bit close by. Within 24 hours! Absolutely loved it. Very efficient store!”
