“I had an excellent experience with owner Sia this morning. I brought in my floor lamp because the plastic switch broke off last night. Within a minute, he had put on a shiny new metal one. He also suggested a three-way LED light bulb for the lamp because I had only a one-way one, which I also purchased. I was thrilled to be able to take home my fixed lamp in only 10 minutes time! And for a most reasonable price!”

“Carlos and his team have been my go to art installers for years now. Not only are they Covid safe, but if you want a piece of art (or many pieces of art) hung the right way, please contact him. He has such a keen eye for where the piece works best on the wall, you don't have to do your own measuring. He and his assistant (usually his son or daughter) have all the equipment they need to hang your art. This is a family run business (who doesn't want to support that). I cannot say enough about Preferred Picture Framing and Carlos and his team! He was actually referred to me by one of the most prominent art framers in all of Los Angeles. He is the absolute best in the business.”

“Very good selection of nice furniture at great prices. But maybe the most important thing is that the people there are honest. They do what they say, and say what they will do. 5 years ago we bought a houseful of furniture at great prices... fast forward to now and the 5 year old sofa had a problem. Probably because of covid I've sat on the sofa way more than normal. I contacted them, they found my original order and promptly sent out their guys for repair. We both knew the warranty was over, so it cost me a little money but they were prompt and most importantly we are sitting on a brand new sofa body. Perfect timing as our little grandson is coming over this weekend and will sleep on the sofa bed. Really nice and honest people go perfectly with great prices on cool furniture!!”

“For years this shop was originally on second street. It was fully supplied with items for the kitchen, dining, and other Japanese items. This shop is much smaller, no room to roam around like the other shop, where you could ogle and awe at wares. The owner of this shop is helpful. They have an adequate selection of ikebana vessels from Japan unlike anywhere else in LA. The prices are average considering import costs. Overall this shop is an important mainstay in the Japanese community.”

“The most excellent retail experience all the way around. I purchased a floor lamp online and could not get it to stand straight. Called the store and the manager, Rod Hawkins, told me to bring it in and they would try to fix it. And if not, would get me a new one, assemble it at the store and all would be good. Their amazing assembly person fixed the lamp and I am one happy customer. Highly recommend this store and if you need help just reach out to Rod - he's the best.”

This store is soooo elegant and FULL of splendor and amazing curated vintage and modern pieces. The decadence comes from the decor and selection but the sweetness comes from the staff. “This showroom is wonderful! I had been looking for months for a sofa that was NOT neutral and cookie cutter, which was all I was seeing in the usual furniture stores. Sofa Design Gallery had exactly what I was looking for! With little explanation from me, James took me straight to "my" sofa that I had been searching for. Literally love at 1st sight. It's very well-made, really comfortable and the fabric is gorgeous. And while I was there, I spotted a chair that I also liked a lot. I had it remade in a fabric that I picked out to match the sofa. I am completely happy with both pieces. Both James and Bijon were very helpful, their customer service was fantastic. Even their delivery guys were wonderful. They were very careful and professional.
