all about the DOGue salon & spa
3850 CA-123 STE 105, EmeryvilleWe visited this past Saturday with our two Aussies. They have a lot of anxiety and we were nervous about moving to a new groomer. Aussies are double coated and can't be buzzed etc. Lena scheduled our appointment and even offered obedience classes to help with their anxiety (which we will be trying ?). Drop off was smooth and pick up was hours earlier than expected. The price was more than reasonable given the type of dogs and coats. They look amazing and we got a full report of how they did. We are very grateful to the all about DOGue team and will be coming back regularly if they'll have us ??haha

The Sunday
3986 Adeline St, EmeryvilleIf you are looking for a breakfast spot, look no further. This place is the best. My parents have been coming here for a little while now and brought me here for breakfast while visiting them. I got the Soyrizo hash and I definitely recommend it. It had so much rich flavor but was nicely balanced out by the freshness of the veggies. Their hot sauce wall is also super goated. The service was so amazing, everyone is super sweet and accommodating. Shoutout to Ezra!! Looking forward to coming back next time I’m in the Bay Area!

Saucy Asian (Emeryville)
5614 Bay St, EmeryvilleThis restaurant is my boyfriend and my favorite go to take out place when we don't know what to eat. I feel that this place does Asian fusion pretty well and we often enjoy their many food options. They have items such as Korean style tacos, burritos, and fries. The service is great! We ordered soju once and the server taught us a new way to create a soju vortex! There is not too much seating inside but it has a nice outdoor seating area right by the movie theater! It's a great food spot to go before or after a movie or shopping!

Butter Pecan Bakeshop
6472 Hollis St, EmeryvilleStopped on a Saturday mornkng before heading to Los Moles across the street and it wasn't super busy. It was perfect, ordered my ookis and took them to go. They are a little on the pricer end, but they are big so I was able to share with the people I was with. I ordered: Butter Pecan: was really good, and as the name describes it, it was definitely buttery. I wish it had more pecan flavor, but I would get again. Strawberry shortcake: Sooo good! Was ny favorite. Cookies and cream: Was really good, and I'm not the biggest fan of cookies and cream usually

Branch Line Bar
5885 Hollis St #25, EmeryvilleThis is a little gem of a bar in Emeryville. The decor and ambience are chic. The atmosphere is laid back. You can find a lot of friendly locals here. On this occasion I had a delicious bacon burger paired with a boozy horchata cocktail while I waited for my train at the nearby Amtrak station. Hats off to the fun waitstaff!

Prizefighter
6702 Hollis St, EmeryvilleWe recently visited Prizefighter cocktail bar on our way home, and it turned out to be a delightful detour! The cocktails were so enticing that instead of just one, we ended up ordering two each. The selection of liquor was impressive, and the cocktail menu was both creative and intriguing.
My personal favorite was the Pink Cashmere – a beautifully crafted drink that balanced flavors perfectly. It’s definitely a must-try! While the bartender was decent, I felt there was room for more engagement, but it didn’t detract much from the overall experience.
The atmosphere was lively, enhanced by great music that set the perfect backdrop for a fun evening. Overall, Prizefighter is a fantastic spot for cocktail enthusiasts. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu!

Hidden Spot Emeryville
4000 Adeline St, EmeryvilleExhausted from our family hike, we turned to Google for sustenance. This charming restaurant welcomed us warmly, quickly seating us and thoughtfully switching the channel to a children's program.
Our server was kind and attentive. The food arrived promptly, and my wife was particularly pleased with her gluten-free bánh mì sandwich. Our children, with gusto, consumed their chicken tenders, wings, and fries. We'll be back.

Bank Club Cafe
3900 San Pablo Ave, EmeryvilleI just moved to this neighborhood - and Mary the bartender and Anna the owner were really welcoming, warm and real people. I liked the mezcal margarita with Tajin and Tapatio and had great Mediterranean dinner next door (beed and shrimp kebobs) in a wheelchair accessible space with 4 (count em 4!) wheelchair accessible tables-- I am going to celebrate with loved ones here and can't wait to make this my neighborhood hang out, karaoke, dance and community spot!
