Pet Grooming
all about the DOGue salon & spa
3850 CA-123 STE 105, EmeryvilleWe visited this past Saturday with our two Aussies. They have a lot of anxiety and we were nervous about moving to a new groomer. Aussies are double coated and can't be buzzed etc. Lena scheduled our appointment and even offered obedience classes to help with their anxiety (which we will be trying ?). Drop off was smooth and pick up was hours earlier than expected. The price was more than reasonable given the type of dogs and coats. They look amazing and we got a full report of how they did. We are very grateful to the all about DOGue team and will be coming back regularly if they'll have us ??haha

Pet-Friendly Restaurants
Wally's Cafe (Emeryville)
3900 San Pablo Ave, EmeryvilleDefinitely a hidden gem, it’s a bit hard to find but it’s right behind a bar.
10/10 recommend the pomegranate chicken plate, it comes served on a bed of rice with a side salad, tzatziki & garlic sauce with pita. They gave us water immediately after being seated and lentil soup. After the meal we received baklava which I believe is made in house and was actually outstanding, delicious buttery flavor and not too sweet.

Butter Pecan Bakeshop
6472 Hollis St, EmeryvilleDaaaam, these cookies are to DIE FOR! I was killing time in Emeryville and had a sweet craving, so I stopped by Butter Pecan for a cookie or two. Forget a cookie or two; you need a dozen or two! These are real fresh ingredients; soft, chewy, buttery cookies that melt in the mouth. Don't bother with the overhyped, overpriced, commercialized cookie places that have been popping up. Just go to Butter Pecan! You won't regret it! (although I might regret this review because you'll all go there and finish the cookies)

Saucy Asian (Emeryville)
5614 Bay St, EmeryvilleI finally got to try the dishes here and I am not disappointed.
I got the soup and it was just right amount of jalapeños for the spice. I lobe the simplistic it had, but it was still tasty ?
I also tried the island poke dish and it was very delicious as well.
I like how you have options for the rice or a salad base, or both.
Very flavorful and right amount of sauces.
I am looking forward to trying more dishes as time goes by.

Good To Eat
1298 65th St Suite #1, EmeryvilleThis place is A M A Z I N G. Every single dish my table and I ordered was *chef's kiss*. There were three different chicken dishes in the menu. We ordered all three and they were so good! The veggies of the day were perfectly cooked- crisp, flavorful, and well seasoned. The spicy noodles were sooo delicious. The deep fried tofu sheets were heavenly. All the desserts were not too sweet and perfect ending to the meal . My only complaint is that the mushroom noodle dish I had was a little bitter. It tasted like the cooking alcohol they used in it didn't cook out all the way so. Other than that, everything truly was superb. I wish they had a location in San Francisco!

Bank Club Cafe
3900 San Pablo Ave, EmeryvilleI just moved to this neighborhood - and Mary the bartender and Anna the owner were really welcoming, warm and real people. I liked the mezcal margarita with Tajin and Tapatio and had great Mediterranean dinner next door (beed and shrimp kebobs) in a wheelchair accessible space with 4 (count em 4!) wheelchair accessible tables-- I am going to celebrate with loved ones here and can't wait to make this my neighborhood hang out, karaoke, dance and community spot!

Hidden Spot Emeryville
4000 Adeline St, EmeryvilleGood food & great spot to watch the game with a few friends. Started off with the MVP wings which were very reminiscent of a soy garlic flavor you'd get at a Korean Fried Chicken joint. Tasty flavor but the wings weren't anything juicy like I would have liked. For sides we got onion rings and the seasoned fries. Both super crispy. Loved the fluffy interior of the fries as well. Then for the main I ordered the hero burger medium rare. I'd say it was more of a medium or medium well which was pretty disappointing, but the flavor was nice. Slightly expensive spot for the quality but the portions are large and will make you full quick! The spot was a bit hard to find (hence the name). It's pretty tiny inside with a few seats outside. We came during the olympics so it got quite loud, but again an awesome spot for games or a few drinks with friends. Service was friendly and fairly quick for being busy.
