“I cannot say enough positive things about this credit union as a whole. I’ve never been to this branch, BUT….I’ve been with SchoolsFirst for almost two decades. They have saved my butt countless times, with the most important time being when I was going to transfer a retirement account to an annuity. I dodged a bullet there! I’ve financed and refinanced my cars, I’ve gotten signature loans, I’ve gotten credit cards there, and they have a summer savings account with a high interest rate. I’ve had accounts with several credit unions and I’ve been very happy with this one. I no longer live close to a credit union branch, but I do my banking online, on the phone, and use the ATMs affiliated with the credit union. They’ve even called me to let me know about suspicious banking activity! I recommend and trust this credit union 1000%.”

“We come here mostly to get foreign currency for when we travel the world. They offer the service when you have a card or an account with them. It is really convenient and quick . You get your new cash in two business days. The rate is changed everyday just like the rate exchange. The cash you get is always fresh and new so it's pretty nice. The staff here are super friendly and it is an enjoyable time.”

“Me and my mom went here after a disrespectful service from the Laguna location for the same service. We were treated nicely here and had no issues compared to the other location. We were assisted by Nyeisha the Teller and she was amazing. She was very kind and respectful. We should have gone here instead along time ago.”

Parking is incorrectly laid out and at times dangerous. No marked walkway from parking into bank. ATM parking isn't marked nor are the handicap signs.”

“Christine and Keegan were amazing. We were frustrated that the other Golden 1 on Elk Grove would not help us because they said it takes more than 30 minutes. Christine fit us in and Keegan helped us figure everything out. We were going to close our account and move banks but Christine and Keegan went above and beyond. “This is by far the best bank branch i have ever stepped in, nothing but great customer service that you feel like it's family rather than just coming to the bank. “This review is overdue. I went into the bank to open an account and it was truly the best banking experience I ever had. I was shocked by the Black MEN that had come in while I was waiting... They exuded pleased with their bank... It was clear they had banked at this branch for years ( reference to a lil girl getting so big in one situation reflected that also) Something I hadn't seen in years. The wonderful person that helped me, knew them by name and it was very impressive to me. Hugs were even given ... Made me want one too... Christy Andrei Moore was the banker that assisted me❣️After actually becoming a member... My personal view of the cons at this institution is the lack of customers support on weekends ? When something happens with your account over the weekend there are no recourses for you to take (except to report your card lost or stolen). I ended up in a stuck situation because once my account was triggered I wasn't able to do anything about it or use my card as desired until the Monday after.Other than that.... 50+ account is just as amazing as the customer service I received ❣️”

“Convenient location, nice employees, but it seems the employees keep rotating, even the managers.

But if you need something, they know how to take care of you. Have a problem, they may not be able to personally fix it, but they will help you with the custom service phone person and help you fix it, and sometimes having an employee on the phone with customer service gets you better/quicker service.

Actually, when I've had problems like possible disputing charges or getting a new card because I think someone might have hacked an account that had my card number on it, they have immediately jumped to help me, put the money back while disputing charges and gotten me a new card before the end of a week.

Actually Chase is the first bank organization I feel my money is secure in. I've had BofA, Wells Fargo, and a couple Credit Unions, but Chase is the first bank that I don't feel has tried to screw me over ever and is always willing to help without trying to charge me a fee.”
