“When I had cats that needed to be shaved, this was the place I trusted to treat them right. I visit every so often one of the groomers, who has been a friend for many years. Tina is their most experienced groomer. While I visit, I get to observe how all the groomers relate to the dogs that they work on. I'm amazed at how well they treat the dogs, especially since even the nicest dog often tries or succeeds to bite the hand that grooms them. I watched as a puppy bit Tina. She reprimanded it appropriately. I would have reacted, let's say not as nicely as she did. She said that it's a puppy, it is learning. Wow! I don't think I would have said that. She certainly does have a lot of canine wisdom.”

“My Charlie is notoriously difgicult with groomers, he's a lovable guy, but grooming appts are tuff. K9 klipping is patient with him, and he comes out looking and smelling wonderful! Its hard to get a good photo... but he looks like he just had a blowout!”

“We are in the process of researching backyard chickens. My children enjoy coming here and looking at the available female chicks. I was able to ask the nice lady that works here a lot of questions about chicken husbandry and she was really nice about it, and patient. This is probably the closest place for me to get supplies, or I have to drive all the way to Pomona. Great! And the staff is very well versed in bird husbandry.”

“Favorite place to go for my girls! They love the feed here and the staff are so friendly and answer all my questions that I have. The place can get busy but they are very efficient wide selection of feed here ranging for horses, chicks, hens etc. I also got a waterer and feeder here and they work great! Saw the same items on target and amazon and were too $$. This place is affordable and they treat you right. Parking lot is small but there's also street parking. Once you select your feed and pay, you bring the receipt to the entrance and an employee will bring the bag to your trunk for you. Super efficient and I will be coming back often. 10/10 recommend for all your needs and questions! They are awesome!”

The caring owner takes pride in his fishes, knowledgeable of different species, aquarium environment, water parameters, fish temperament, and much moreWhen you start a hobby expenses get racked up really quick. As a hobbyist, you start to look for deals, alternatives, and other sources for hobby. But most importantly, you want to know which fishes go well together and what makes them happy. This owner know the numbers and what makes them happy. I've gotten advice from this owner many times in the past and always good solid information. When me and my son started this hobby. We were told that neon tetras are cool fishes and they love to school. After getting some we learned that they're hearty and really do school. The swimming patterns they make are exciting to watch. What's more is that I get compliments about my tank from the neon tetras. I now own 30+ neon tetras and the schooling formations are amazing. Recently I've tried to add a few runny nose tetras and I've gotten a few deaths which is expected in learning this hobby. The owner helped me trouble shoot what issues are most likely the problems and stressing out my fishes. Long story short my co2 levels were too high and I was starving my fishes of oxygen. Even after googling these issues, i learned it was easier to talk to the owner about them. 10-15 mins of trouble shoot talking with him saved me hours on the internet. I really appreciate him and will return to add more fishes to my school and talk about fishes!”

“I was house sitting and not a resident of the area. My house sit buys supplies at Pet Garden and suggested I try their grooming services. I was so pleased with their groomer, as my dog is known to be difficult and requires a muzzle to groom according to my usual groomer. I was so nervous but they assured me they'd take their time and give her breaks during the grooming if needed. My Daisey Dawg was matted and had burrs and stickers the worst condition she'd ever been in , adding to my nervousness.But she looks amazing now and was so spunky and happy to have all that hot fur off. I highly recommend My Pet Garden , they are fabulous.”

“Quick points for ppl that don't like reading long reviewsVery clean, Employees were very knowledgeable and very helpful with all questions I had, prices were good, will most definitely be returning.The long versionI recently visited this store based on glowing reviews on here so my expectations were high. It seems the store has changed ownership within the last year or so some of the images on here show a much bigger space but it seems the store has downsized a bit which is not to say thats a bad thing just an observation. Upon entering the store and looking around I was asked if I needed help I told them my situation with a Box turtle I had rescued that was in really poor shape the guys proceeded to give me at leas 10 mins worth of advice and answering my 20 questions without trying to upsell me just genuinely helping me out. All this to say that even though there is new ownership this store continues to be a top notch place for your reptile needs will definitely be coming here again.”

They have face painting, pet adoptions, amazing animals, and one of our favorites to see amazing shows! “Super friendly and helpful staff at the Duarte location. We came here to utilize the doggy bath for our pup and I'm so glad we did! They have these different packages that include everything you need: Earth Bath branded shampoo, conditioner, wet and dry combs, deodorant spray, ear wash drops, cotton balls and towels and more. The bath itself is well equipped with warm and cold water a little protector door to ensure your pup doesn't hop out. There's a few dryer stations that have blow dryers and pressure dryers as well. I loved how helpful and cost effective it was to give our dog a bath here. There's a huge selection of other pet food and supplies. The store was well equipped and the staff were very knowledge and helpful.”
