As a hobbyist, you start to look for deals, alternatives, and other sources for hobby. But most importantly, you want to know which fishes go well together and what makes them happy. This owner know the numbers and what makes them happy. I've gotten advice from this owner many times in the past and always good solid information. When me and my son started this hobby. We were told that neon tetras are cool fishes and they love to school. After getting some we learned that they're hearty and really do school. The swimming patterns they make are exciting to watch. What's more is that I get compliments about my tank from the neon tetras. I now own 30+ neon tetras and the schooling formations are amazing. Recently I've tried to add a few runny nose tetras and I've gotten a few deaths which is expected in learning this hobby. The owner helped me trouble shoot what issues are most likely the problems and stressing out my fishes. Long story short my co2 levels were too high and I was starving my fishes of oxygen. Even after googling these issues, i learned it was easier to talk to the owner about them. 10-15 mins of trouble shoot talking with him saved me hours on the internet. I really appreciate him and will return to add more fishes to my school and talk about fishes!”

“I was house sitting and not a resident of the area. My house sit buys supplies at Pet Garden and suggested I try their grooming services. I was so pleased with their groomer, as my dog is known to be difficult and requires a muzzle to groom according to my usual groomer. I was so nervous but they assured me they'd take their time and give her breaks during the grooming if needed. My Daisey Dawg was matted and had burrs and stickers the worst condition she'd ever been in , adding to my nervousness.But she looks amazing now and was so spunky and happy to have all that hot fur off. I highly recommend My Pet Garden , they are fabulous.”

It seems the store has changed ownership within the last year or so some of the images on here show a much bigger space but it seems the store has downsized a bit which is not to say thats a bad thing just an observation. Upon entering the store and looking around I was asked if I needed help I told them my situation with a Box turtle I had rescued that was in really poor shape the guys proceeded to give me at leas 10 mins worth of advice and answering my 20 questions without trying to upsell me just genuinely helping me out. All this to say that even though there is new ownership this store continues to be a top notch place for your reptile needs will definitely be coming here again.”
“My dog, Oso, have never been to a pet grooming place. This was his first and I have to tell you I am impressed by the service received. They bathe, groomed, and de-shed my dog. I will be honest the price was a bit on the high end (My dog is a medium built dog around 20-30 lbs.). Asking price was 95$ and we paid 90$ with 5$ discount for the review here. Unless there are other place can do it 10-20$ less, I will visit this place again.”

“Super friendly and helpful staff at the Duarte location. We came here to utilize the doggy bath for our pup and I'm so glad we did! They have these different packages that include everything you need: Earth Bath branded shampoo, conditioner, wet and dry combs, deodorant spray, ear wash drops, cotton balls and towels and more. The bath itself is well equipped with warm and cold water a little protector door to ensure your pup doesn't hop out. There's a few dryer stations that have blow dryers and pressure dryers as well. I loved how helpful and cost effective it was to give our dog a bath here. There's a huge selection of other pet food and supplies. The store was well equipped and the staff were very knowledge and helpful.”

Very high quality ingredients and extremely clean and sanitary manufacturing environment. I've been in human food facilities that are far below what Breeders Choice sanitary and cleanliness are. They maintain those standards and conditions around the clock. They do co-packing for custom formulas that are distributed worldwide. Surprises me that I see shipments leaving for Australia or Japan when I'm there. By the way, they don't have a storage warehouse. Everything they produce goes straight out to the retail locations. They don't stock pile old stale product with crazy date codes going out three years. Can't say enough about the them and I don't even own a pet! Imagine that.”
