“This is a quality hotel that offers great service. The most important quality was customer service at all levels of the organization. This includes the front desk, bellman, valet, room service, security, all servers in each and every restaurant we visited during our stay were great. The food was delicious! This hotel is my favorite and I have travelled a lot in my career. This will be a place I will go to annually.
Rooms: Our view was fantastic. Housekeeping was great.
Nearby activities: The town of Dana Point gives you access to the harbor and unique shopping. You can take a trolley to Laguna Beach and enjoy boutique shops and art galleries.
Walkability: You never have to leave the hotel. Everything is floor away. Excursions to the beach with all the supplies you need. Food and drink are always available.
Food and drinks: All restaurants are five star and the servers are fantastic.

The rooms are so nice with all the necessary amenities, the food is lovely, and the staff goes out of their way to get to know you and help you. “While this location is in need of some updating and refreshing; however, the staff and location far out weigh that need. The location is right across from the ocean and the majority of the rooms seem to have that ocean view. It is quintessential beach harbor hotel. The staff was very friendly and professional.”

“Updated review as we stayed yet again over the weekend. You get what you pay for. You're right on the harbor and that is great. Everything else is just ok. Service at the front is hit and miss. Check in declined to let us know that iPhone magnets kill the card keys. Would have been a point to bring up before we went all the way to the third floor just to find out our keys were demagnetized. lived with that. I'm sad to see this may soon be gone.. Sadly. Here is a photo with ducks swimming in the pool. Lot of memories here .”

“Like the recent changes and revamp to the lobby with the added bar and seating areas. Very inviting and has a good vibe when you walk in. Reservationiat are nice and smiling. Some changes made to the rooms, and ours smelled as if it had been freshly painted. Perfect location for us as we are there for work. We have stayed there several times, always have had a great view but not all rooms will have one.”
