“On my recent visit to CA, I stopped in this cute and cozy little store and purchased my first stirring pearls (succulents). The lady who took care of me was very nice. I can wait to go back!”
“We got off to a very very bad start with Harvest to Home. The wall was installed in December and within a couple weeks it was completely dead. When we asked for help we basically got the runaround. But why a 5 star rating? Because, when we had given up completely, the new owner Samantha called us and saved the day. She made it right.
We were doomed to fail right out of the blocks --- and here's a handy tip -- the irrigation of the herb wall was tied into the spray sprinkler system adjacent to the herb wall in the yard. That will never work. The herb wall uses a drip system -- so it needs extended slow watering, as in 20 minutes every couple days. The spray system runs 3 minutes a day --- and that isn't close to what the herb wall needs. Also, when it rains, everything gets watered, except the herb wall. So you need to be able to turn the spray system off and LEAVE THE DRIP SYSTEM ON. So, our landscaper installed a separate line, Samantha had her guy come and repair the box (it was a little wonky at first), and then she came out and replaced all the plants at no charge. It all looks good now, and we are hopeful! Thanks Samantha!”

2123 Newport Blvd, Costa Mesa“Great location! Always getting new items in for indoor and outdoor plants. Best customer service!!! These people know their plants and they want to help! You can even have them help with design and theirs lifetime guarantee on plants. Once I was looking for citrus trees which they were out of, so the gentleman helping me went out of his way to search which locations in area had them. I went down to liguna niguel for them happily. Thank you to the amazing people and plants here!”
“Hats off to Home Depot for the kids building kits!!! Our grandchildren love coming and building and painting at Home Depot. Thank you! They actually make great toys which hold up over time and are treasured by my grandkids. The staff at Home Depot are very patient and kind! Huge props to everyone that provides for this p”
“I enjoy the convenience of going to this Home Depot based on the location, but if there is a Home Depot in the local area that will be out of stock of an item, Costa Mesa will be the first to be out of stock. Also, the buy more save more discounts online are not in the store, so it's better to shop online than in the store. I don't know of another retailer that competes so heavily against their Rick and mortar employee run stores.
On the plus side, the check-out associates are generally courteous and quick at moving people through lines. The floor staff in each department are a bit thinned out and often busy with several other people vying for their attention.”
“My 97 year old mother and I were shopping for a new kitchen faucet. A wonderful HD employee, David, actually approached us and asked if we needed help. He was a Godsend! He was filled with so much knowledge, advice, suggestions, and took his time with us. He knew that department so well and showed us where some add-on items were. I can't tell you how much we appreciated David and his help with us today. Congrats HD for having such a wonderful employee!”
“Although I usually prefer to support local plant stores, Armstrong Garden Center is my one exception. This place is a one-stop shop for all your plant-related needs. Whether you're looking for indoor or outdoor plants, they've got you covered with an endless selection. Their range of rare and seasonal plants is impressive, making it easy to find something unique for your home or garden. Beyond plants, they host a variety of pots, accessories, and even one-of-a-kind trinkets that make great gifts. The staff is always ready to offer expert advice. It's very clear they have a solid background in plants. I absolutely love how they organize their plants by lighting needs. This makes it so much easier to find the perfect plant for your home.”
