“The Monarch Cove is set on a cliff in Capitola with an ocean view of the Pacific Ocean. We stayed in the Monarch Grove, a romantic getaway within 3 miles from the Shadowbrook, so you can take advantage of their free taxi service and get picked up in an old school Shadowbrook cab. I highly recommend this for a weekend getaway!”
“Great hotel for the price, loved that it’s a little tucked away and not in central Santa Cruz. The things I didn’t like was that the room keys kept not working (new employee I think) and that the shower head had a weird spray and wasn’t able to adjust. It made taking a shower less than comfortable and that’s not what you pay to stay at a hotel for. Change the shower heads and this is a 5 star review!”

“Hotle rome look like 1920 Grimmaw house. Reminds me of 2006 when I went to my grandmother's house before the war
Nearby activities: I don't much care for doing anything but the arcade there I done spent $40 & got some dollar store toys I won with my wife.
Walkability: I always said if you can walk to eat, you're in a safe and happy place
Food & drinks: Planty of good food options nearly.”

They have a very nice breakfast from 630 to 10AM every morning.”

“We started staying here when visiting santa cruz a few years ago. Great location from the highway and still easy enough to get to the boardwalk. Really nice breakfast where you can eat outside on the patio or indoors.”
