“I hate working out. Hate everything about it. I had always managed to stay relatively fit through sports and activities. Then injuries and age kicked in. Put on way too much weight and realized I needed to find something. Tried gym memberships... Had no idea what to do. Tried a couple crossfit gym's... was pushed way too hard. Finally found F45 La Costa/Pointsettia. The workouts are fantastic. You can make them extremely difficult to push yourself or you can cruise through while staying active. The coaching staff is excellent and all offer extensive knowledge in the world of fitness. They also know when to push and when to let me be which I very much appreciate. Started my f45 journey around 2 years ago at 225 now holding at a strong 180. Feeling healthy and now ENJOY working out!! Thank you, Jason and Team.”

“I highly recommend Axe Fitness to anyone committed to getting into the best shape of their life. As a 61 year old woman, I have managed to increase my strength, endurance and muscle tone immensely with the help of Regina and her sensational workout plans! I love that the workouts are 40 minutes and different every day so I never get bored. I was concerned about not being able to do these workouts when I started, but Regina was always there to modify anything if needed. Exercise isn’t an option for me, so I go where the trainers are upbeat, motivating, knowledgeable and encouraging!”

“Before MROC, I never had a coach before. I never went to the gym and I never really exercised or did anything that made me sweaty. But after 5 years of fully embracing MROC and Spartan racing, I am an entirely different person. A much stronger, faster, more confident person who is capable of doing hard, gritty things. I owe all of that success to MROC for being so welcoming, empowering and fun that even when I was an intimidated noobie, I wanted to keep going back. I'm so grateful for the community and the awesome gym Coach Mike and Krista have created in Oceanside. North County is lucky to have MROC! Plus, one of the best things about MROC is how accommodating they were throughout my pregnancy -- I felt comfortable doing scaled work outs prescribed by the coaches even when I was 8 months pregnant because the coaches are knowledgeable and passionate about what they do, but they were also very encouraging and didn't hold me back. It was just what I needed and I thank them for that!”

“This is why I hate yelp...5 stars just isn't enough for this CrossFit box. Came to town and decided to drop in last minute. Owner/coach Zach greeted us and was so welcoming, taking the time to introduce us to all the members in the class. His coaching style is legit. He's old school CrossFit and cares about his class. Proper warmup, explanation and technique work for the workout and attention to detail during the workout. We just dropped in, but if you're looking for a new CrossFit home, I wouldn't hesitate. The box vibe here was amazing and every local should be taking advantage of having it close by. Zach is what every box owner should be and creates a great environment.”

“As an experienced crossfit athlete, this gym is absolute high quality. The facility is designed well and has all the essentials (and then some). The programming is solid, and they have a good spacing of classes. The coaching IS the standard they teach in CrossFit courses. Not only do they look the part, but they do take the time to hit the key points and give cues to each athlete. Whether you're a drop in or a member, you're getting top notch bang for your buck.”

“Jazzercise is a serious exercise program run by experienced professionals. It also happens to be a ton of fun! The culture of mutual support and respect for women of all ages and body types just keeps you coming back. It is also interesting how much the various instructors (all wonderful) support each other, and us. Often, there is more than one instructor who is attending any given class. The vibe in instructor Kenny's class this morning was: here we are, let's have blast exercising together. His music was so motivating! Also taking the class with the rest of us was Judi Missett, the founder of Jazzercise- a professional dancer and hugely successful entrepreneur. Please note she was not offin some gold gilded mansion eating chocolates. She was here working her butt off and having a great time with the rest of us. In a world which today sometimes feels so unkind, it is a pleasure, and a privilege, to be a part of a program which not only is successful, but is based on taking care of oneself and supporting each other.”

“I have a pretty intense job which I work from home, so I am sitting all day (like ALLLLL day), which is pretty much the worst thing for your health. It also means I don't have time to drive to/from a gym (ok yeah sure at like 5am or after working all day I could but I tried that and it wasn't for me lol). When I lived in San Francisco I had a friend/ personal trainer that would come to my house and we would work out together. When we moved to Oceanside I knew if I didn't find someone, I'd be grossly sedentary and blow up like a balloon. I also have to worry about heart health as my dad passed from a heart attack at 51. I was so thrilled to meet Megan. She agreed to come clear across town to provide in-home training at a reasonable rate, she's such a professional but also down to earth and easy to talk to, and the workout is always different/ fresh/ never the same. Not to mention how highly qualified she is with a PHD (and winning every single fitness competition she's been in since we met!). My husband even started working out with us which I could never get him to do in San Francisco lol. Highly recommend Every Body's Fit to anyone looking to lose weight, get off meds, or just generally live a healthier life.”

“Please get new hooks for the new squat racks. I don't like how the barbell can slide so much, I feel unsafe unracking heavy weight because the bar can slide so much. At that point the old racks were better because the bar didn't move. Please change them, all my friends I've talked to don't like the hooks either”

“Not as nice as the 22 area field house gym and only has 5 cardio equipment but it has all the weight equipment including free weights. Also, extra motivating since all the ppl who go here ate infantry so they are super motivated and in shape.”
