“Pola Market is crucial part of this neighborhood! This is a small market in the middle of a neighborhood and they treat you like a neighbor! Always friendly and remember your name. They got a little bit of everything. You can count on this place to come through for those things you forgot to pickup when you were at the grocery store and didn't remember you needed it until you go to use it and it's gone. For me that always seems to be coffee creamer lol. So it's nice to be able to walk to the corner and know that they got what I need!”

She's always doing something to make the store clean and organized. In addition the sell fried chicken and fish(forgot the name) lol but is inside the store. “I came across this grocery store a couple weeks ago when looking for something specific and not finding it in other Asian markets. It turns out that item was no longer being manufactured, so while I didn't find it I found a suitable alternative. The real treasure from that hunt was finding this store. I picked up a bunch of things to try that I've never had before, including polvorón from House of Polvoron brand I've now been searching for more of that, and happened to be in the neighborhood again today. Their selection of polvoron beats that of the larger Asian markets, and I also found some great fruit you can't commonly find elsewhere. I intend to stop by every time I'm close by. They may not have everything the larger Asian grocery stores have, but if they did, maybe they wouldn't have as great a selection of the more specialty items they carry that other stores lack. “I'm new to this Sand Diego neighborhood and love walking Adams Street so when I spotted this market and looked at the menu I was definitely excited.I love falafel so that's what caught my eye first. I had the falafel and my husband had a Greek gyro. Both were delicious and I can't wait to try the other items on the menu. Definitely recommending this market/restaurant to my family and friends. The quality and reasonable prices of the menu is great as well as the friendly service, and clean/organized ambiance. Love this unique, community food center!”

Come over here just a few minutes away. I bet there won't be no more than 3 people at the pumps hahaha. They got free air, clean facility , and a car wash. The rest is self explanatory a pretty standardized chevron.”

I drove out from Chula Vista (17) miles because a friend told me they had very hard to find Leinenkugel's Octoberfest Beer. They did!!! Of course I was delighted and even more so by the service and the very congenial person behind the counter. I bought the last two six packs but he assured me he would have more by Friday. #lienenkugels. #leinie's. I shall return!!”
