“Love this place, have gone there for 20 years. The manager named Kelly is very smart and down to earth. I was confused why they weren't carrying a certain promo other 7-11's were and she explained a new law which bans the product promo in unincorporated towns but not cities which is why the 7-11 across the way was allowed to run the promo. Also they have a dude works there who looks like Chris Pratt. Fun group recommend 100%. Only negative is harder to get to than before because they are next to Frisbee street, which has an illegal unethical partial road closure to give a city councilman's mother/mother in law a private street paid for by taxpayers. Disgraceful, but this 7-11 is awesome!”

“I took my iPhone to this store (HMB Cellular on El Cajon Blvd) two days ago. It was damaged when I slammed my car hatch door while the phone was sitting right on the latch. It certainly damaged the screen severely but also a dent on the back of the phone. I was certain the mother board inside was probably damaged. The young man at the front counter, whose name I don’t recall, was extremely kind and helpful. He kept Re-assuring me that although it looked bad, it was still possible for the inside to be intact. He proceeded to open the phone and checked all inside parts in detail which took him a good hour, and told me the phone was still completely intact and that only the screen would be needed to be replaced. He replaced the screen. My phone works as well as it did prior to the damage. Thank you HMB Cellular)! I can now see why you have 382 reviews and all with 5 stars! I will certainly be referring friends and family!”

“Don't even think about going to another Metro store!! The STAFF ARE what make this store PHENOMENAL... besides it being right on the trolley route. It's the staff that make the vibe here FUN! They work ridiculously to get you the best deal researching everything before proceeding with you and mind. They are just the right amount of personable, sharing riveting stories while you wait--which is way faster than the other stores. They make you feel like you have a family member who works for Metro: giving you the best deal! THEY CARE & IT SHOWS!! Christian was so patient when my phone went black screen and had to deal with my children getting sick before coming in and buying a new phone having given me all the research and spending a lot of time with me before I made my purchase a different day. Even came back in for me, after clocking out! Gabriel, the manager, was so professional, educated, and empathetic to my particular situation. He even informed me that my phone that blacked out is under warranty and would only cost $25. He absolutely did not have to do that, saving $$money!Christian & Gabriel worked like customer service agents back in the '90s, when customer service was awesome! They really did not have to care so much about me and my kids but they took such time out of their own schedules even past closing to get everything right with my account adding a third line and getting me the best deal with the additional phone. They worked within my minimal budget and sick kids in attendance to get it done! I watched as Gabriel educated a foreigner as to the best way to save money not trying to push a sale when most would have. I cannot rave enough about all the staff here and their care for customers, truly caring about customers and their unique human conditions!! They even treat the indigent population that surrounds their store with respect & empathy. Heck I'm ready to vote for the 2 for Pres & VP in 2024... YOU WILL LOVE THIS STORE. Go!”

“I had a pleasurable time while visiting this store, especially because I don't know a lot when it comes to phones and technology, so I was really surprised how the people that work here are extremely nice and have a lot of patience. They explained me with every single detail how their promos work, they helped find the perfect device for me and my needs because I work on construction so I needed something capable to resists accidents. Plus, their tempered glass and cases are really good, it will help me a lot when I go to work and feel safe. They even taught me to use my new phone and reviewed with me all the features that it has, I found this extremely helpful since I'm no really into technology. Amazing costumer service!”

“My car was an old 1980 Buick Century Limited with an alternator that went out. Grant rebuilt it for me and did a phenomenal job QUICKLY for GREAT price!! He's also a Denver Broncos fan and that touched the human side of car repair for me a lot!! Besides from football, this man is caring and a wonderful customer service rep for his company and does his job tremendously well. The trust factor is off the charts! I recommend this company to anyone price and service oriented from caring people. We need more people in the world like Grant!! Keep up the good work Grant and go Broncos.. “Murphy's is and outstanding place to go if you're looking for an Electronics salvage place to pick up whatever you might need. My girlfriend and I went there and we were looking for one specific item which we thought it would be rather unlikely to find and what do you think happened? We found it! She also picked up an oscilloscope and I was looking for a signal generator and also found a few items I needed for a sweet little tweak on my most powerful McIntosh audio amp. I was looking through everything and stayed until they were closing. I almost bought a medical encyclopedia to help with random post-apocalyptic surgeries but decided not to after all. They also had a wonderful carbon Arc spotlight that I would have loved to pick up but didn't. The guys there are super friendly and helpful and what you will find is from ceiling to floor and a very large Warehouse, the largest electronics Warehouse I have ever had the pleasure of visiting.”

“I went in with my 87 yr old dad and his 2g phone. Orendo gave us fantastic customer service. He was knowledgeable enough to convince us we needed to replace it and left us confident we were getting the right replacement. He was patient with my dad who wanted to know everything Orendo was doing. My dad is no longer tech friendly and Elvis is too modern for him. The fact that he left the store with new technology and a smile on his face is almost a miracle. Orendo was a breath of fresh air in what we both thought would be a tedious chore.”

It is by far the best 711 across the country. 1) Polite and generous and genuinely friendly staff, not fake smile hiding smirks and bad attitudes; 2) The Place is CLEAN, it's so nice in there. Shelves stocked, neat, clean, organized, the soda machine works, they have produce and a great selection of prepared packaged healthy snacks right as you walk in the door, 3) the food vendor inside does a really good job of selection and it's good. She was nice to me, like a real nice person. I know its wierd that this has to be emphasized but ...? ... So thanks for the breakfast burrito choizo con juevosy papas ala Mexicana, the friendly and efficient staff, the clean and bright ? ? facility. Generally speaking, as far as businesses go, this 711 is a great business ? and it is definitely a sign of the leadership for selecting quality humans who do a great job as a team of employees! ?
