“My first visit, I had to ask for assistance even though I walked in carrying a large LV box. No SA greeted or approached me but in their defense, the store was heavily crowded with tourists & shoppers. I went there to get the luggage tag for my new Speedy 40 Damier pop heat stamped, & also a replacement for my keybell clochette that my puppy chewed. The SA told me it would be a 24 hour turn around, but thankfully it was only 20 minutes. When I went back today to pick up my replacement order, I was greeted by 3 different SA's, & when I told one I was being helped already , she did ask if there was anything she could get me like coffee water, etc while I waited, & the SA that handled my repair order did ask if there were other items I'd like to see or anything else she could assist with.”

I live about a half a mile away, but if you're traveling to the area, thinking about doing it big, and planning on buying something ahead of time to wear while you're out in LA, just stop right now. WAIT until you get here to do it. I've got to tell you- I lived my whole life in Texas and dreamed about going shopping on Rodeo Drive and waltzing into a store only to walk out with that flash of red on the sole.Just do yourself a favor and wait until you get here to buy them. It's an experience that's hard to duplicate. I'll put it this way- people pay money to get into vans to watch you spend money on Rodeo Drive. I get my nails done out here, too and it's still cool and weird to me as I sit there and watch them go by. You won't regret the experience of sassing your way down the block with a Christian Louboutin bag hanging off your arm.The store is gorgeous and the staff are top notch. There were even what were clearly employees there off-duty just hanging out talking to people and commenting on how good everyone's legs looked in the shoes. If you do decide to come here to spend your hard-earned money on some hilariously unnecessary and wholly, appropriately, and justifiably ostentatious bits of leather and strass, ask for Mark Trevino to help you. This shoe was on the floor and they couldn't find her partner. And in the middle of a busy Saturday, Mark scoured the whole store for me, enlisted help, AND brought my husband and I champagne!And now he's helping me on a custom pair.Additionally, I had a look at their men's line while I was there. Y'all, they're pretty sick.”

I love the showroom, and everything in it, but I was in a hurry both times so I wasn't able to spend much time there. Staff was so nice. I was not happy with what I saw, ironically they usually have great shoes. I purchased some years ago the most beautiful after five. Sam Edelman is the place to find beautiful shoes, casual or dress shoes. You will leave happy. I usually shop Nordstrom for Edelman shoes, my size was not available. I had to visit the store in Beverly Hills for satisfaction and I was extremely pleased. The store allows you to order if you have the name of the shoe. The most pleasant visit! Sales persons are extremely nice and kind.”

“I've been wanting a new pair of black or light brown color leather boots and light brown booties for a while; however being in between sizes and width depending on the brand, I decided to go in the store and try on the shoes rather than buying online. The store manager Ana was throughly knowledgeable of the various styles and made excellent recommendations to help me find what I was looking for even if that meant trying some styles/colors, just for fun! “The old Saks for women at 9600 Wilshire is closed - the new, at 9570, occupies the old Barney's of New York location. It is interesting going in there and up the wide stairs to experience Saks versus Barney's, but over all, this is a much better location. The old building was dated and had narrower and smaller levels as you went higher up. The new building provides the bright new Barney's look, to the old Saks. Everything is here for the ladies - all the designers, and in a much brighter more open venue.”

Thankfully, after having a disappointing experience with the website, I turned to calling the California store. (The New York store was closed for the night.) The two stores in the US are completely separate from the website. I received valuable advice about fit for 3 different styles and was able to decide on the right pair of navy pants. Item was shipped free and arrived across country in less than a week. Besides needing hemmed--something I can easily do locally--they are a perfect fit! Love Marina Rinaldi clothes--definitely real quality.”
