“Expect a few fist fights over parking - this place is crazy busy. Excellent variety of grocery store goodness. Good place to stop if you have a recipe that requires a hard to find ingredient. Expect to spend some time in the beer aisle. The bakery looked pretty awesome but I can't confirm the taste.”

“This is the best grocery store in the area. I travel 30 minutes to shop here. Well worth it. Some of the freshest & hugest selection of fruits & vegetables to be found under one roof. The butcher shop in the back of the store is newly remodeled. The butchers are very friendly & helpful with suggestions.”
“I shopped here all the time as a student since my apartment was nearby.
It gets very busy with students at the beginning of semesters and in the afternoon, but usually it’s navigable.
The frozen dumplings and frozen shu mai were life savers for me.
Lots of healthy prepared meals when I was in a pinch, as well as quality ingredients and fun specialty seasonal foods.
Their honey crisp apple scented candles are amazing, and I bought several so I wouldn’t run out.
The produce was always well priced, and I always got bananas and bell peppers here. When prices were going up in so many stores it felt like I could still rely on this shop.”
“I love this little place! I’m a sales rep for the Arborist Gin and Fleurette Gin and it’s always so nice talking to the owner of the store and working with him! It’s also one of the only markets in the East Bay that sell our products, and they’re really good. They definitely have a nice selection.”

“sometimes you forget humanity is here in the Bay Area. Here I was reminded through a lovely French Algerian immigrant family. When I asked about the tea they had, the woman communicated, through gestures and pointing, how she makes her own tea: green tea (Sultan brand), mint, cloves, cinnamon. Everything which is available at the store. Can’t wait!”
“Wonderful spot! They have an amazing selection of products, things no other market has. I was surprised to find pasture raised eggs, grass fed beef sticks and other health friendly foods. They also have amazing kombucha on tap. Definitely stop by this place it doesn’t disappoint AND the owner Marcos is the sweetest guy I’ve ever met. 10/10”

“I went to the store. It was brightly lit, very organized. Very friendly customer service. The guy behind the counter who I think seemed the owner was very friendly and always asked me if I needed any help finding the items I was looking for. Also, prices are fairly cheap compared to other nearby stores”

“tl;dr: well-stocked market with standout bakery and easy navigation.
Had a pleasant shopping experience at this grocery store. The wide, accessible aisles made browsing a breeze, and I appreciated the diverse brand selection across departments.
What really caught my attention was their bakery section - the fresh-baked goods were a cut above typical supermarket offerings.
The staff seemed genuinely interested in helping customers find what they needed. This place strikes a nice balance between variety and convenience.”

“I like the pani puri and the dosas. They come with sambar, which is nice and spicy. Ordering, particularly during busy times, can take a while, but there's plenty of seating.”
“Stopped by today for a few snack items. I got a banana and a yogurt drink for 3.99. The banana was fresh and the yogurt drink was good as well. The have a little section where they sell sandwiches and tamales. They have a wide variety of drinks and food items (both refrigerated, frozen, and dry). They also sell school supplies. I wish I had more time to look around but I will definitely visit again. Employees were kind and they take EBT!”
“A beautifully curated neighborhood market!
Green Leaf has a wide range of products that strike a nice balance between affordability and high quality. You can tell everything is given a lot of thought and care, with lots of organic, natural and local options without feeling pretentious or overpriced.
The staff are warm and friendly and open to suggestions for new products, and they also have treats for your dog : ) it is always a very pleasant experience shopping there. I am very grateful to have an alternative to some of the more corporate grocery options close by- I would highly recommend!”
