“Clean, good value ($6 for a small washer, quarters or card).Excellent customer service. The machine I used only accepted half my coins. I was able to pay the balance with a VISA. I called the posted info number to let the offsite manager know. He was friendly, and explained what to do using the Out of Order sign.”
“I love this cobbler! They are an adorable family that pays close attention to detail, cares a lot about customer service and offers reasonable prices. I brought a pair of long black boots that kept breaking and the Cobbler team fixed them. When they broke again, they fixed them again for free! I highly recommend this place for any shoe fixing needs.”
“I've been going to Laurel Cleaners for a few years, mostly for tailoring but also dry cleaning on occasion. They always do a wonderful job, especially on original hem for jeans. Today, though, I became a customer for life! The zipper on my daughter's Halloween costume broke while trying it on at 4pm on October 30. I panicked, and rushed it over to this shop. She took a look and told me she could fix the zipper before noon the next day! After being in panic mode, the service and accommodation was priceless for this mama... and she still only charged me $10 for the emergency fix. I can't say enough about how happy I am I knew to bring it here!! They are amazing.”

“I started coming to A-1 Cleaners when I first moved to Burlingame 7 years ago and continue to use them, even when I moved away to South San Francisco a year ago.
The reason I make the trip down to Burlingame for them is because their quality service and hospitality is like no other place I’ve encountered on the Peninsula. The trip is also worth my peace of mind because I know my clothes will be perfect and in tact!”
“I don't write a lot of reviews, but these folks deserve one. The suit I bought when I got married 20 years ago still fits great except the pants (as these things go). I want to be able to wear it again, so I took the pants to J's. The gentleman had me try them on and saw they needed to be let out about 3" (eek!). But sadly, he pointed out there was maybe 1.75" of fabric on the seam. He discouraged me a bit, saying he didn't think he could make it happen. His partner then came out and they discussed. They concluded it was questionable at best. I asked them to "do the best you can" and also resolved to diet/de-bloat a bit during the week they had them.
When I picked them up, PERFECTION! They used what fabric was there, plus he told me "I moved the buttons a little for you, too." Now I can actually wear my suit! $25 well worth it! Highly recommend!!”

“They are miracle workers here!!!! I had a vintage dress that was WAY too small. I'm talking 3 inches. They were able to somehow add fabric from the lining to the seams and make it a perfect fit. The best part is, you cannot even see where they added anything. It is literally perfect. Cannot recommend this place enough. Very high quality work and transparent about pricing.”

“My daughter needed her prom dress altered. We initially went to a different place that only did alterations, but they were expensive. I had a feeling the owner overcharged us. We left her dress there overnight. However, I didn't feel good about it, so I called Debbie's Dry Cleaners after finding them on Yelp. The person who answered was extremely helpful and gave me a ballpark figure. My husband brought my daughter there. It was a great experience. They were so reasonable (saved $30) and fast. The dress looks great on my daughter. I totally recommend Debbie's Dry Cleaners for dress alterations!”

“This was one of my favorite experiences, not because it was proximite. Not because they did the best job of any cleaner I've ever known, and I live in Tiburon and still opted to come down here when I would work from my Peninsula office. It was that good.But the 5 stars was for Jeff. I wanted to leave this here before a new owner comes in. Jeff always had a smile, always remembered your name, asked questions about life, and over the last 20 years became a good friend, a constant before, during, and after the pandemic, and I only wish I could have said goodbye. Taken from us far too young, a major life experience for me, and a major source of joy, will be leaving with Jeff, and if any of his family or friends were to research him, in this time of grieving, I wanted this out there that he was a major impact on our community, a shining light of friendly and kind spirit, and a wonderful business owner that added so much to our little San Mateo. “This was my first experience with Menlo Art Cleaners. I hope this experience continues. My previous dry cleaner closed its business (for good). At the suggestion of an acquaintance, I tried Menlo Art Cleaners to have a very nice, poly-filled winter coat (for very cold weather) dry cleaned. It came back looking wonderful -- I hadn't had it cleaned in a long time, tho' I don't wear it a lot. The price was exceptional, probably less than I would have paid at my previous cleaners.The timing was roughly a week. I was in no hurry, but my first experience will, hopefully, make me a repeat customer.”

“I use Roy's every 3-4ish months to clean a set of wool dry clean shirts, have always been satisfied.
Recently used them to mend a torn wool jacket - a good 2 inch tear - the fix was well done and clean! It was a unclean tear, and thus a challenge, but Roy's was able to do a great job at fixing it up, as much as anyone could reasonably expect given the situation.
The man typically running the desk is always kind and efficient. I hope Roy's is around as long as I am.Services: Special care fabric cleaning”

“Been long overdue to bring a coat to be dry cleaned. I've walked/driven by this spot many times and decided to give it a try. The man working there is quiet and a man of a few words (also I don't think he speaks much English), but he is super nice. The turn around time for me to pick up my coat was fine, price was reasonable and they did a great job. Glad to have stumbled upon this place for my dry cleaning needs. Always happy to support local businesses, so give it a chance. Highly recommend and don't forget, cash only!”
“Visited this place three times. Two times for dry cleaning my winter jackets (the heavy coats with fur hoodie) and one for some paddings. The owner helped me pad the holes on my pants.The dry cleaning service was good. The owner did a pretty good job with removing the dirty parts on the jacket’s sleeves. The downside was it was quite pricey imo ($50/1 time) my jackets are not big brands, and I got them on sale ($50 each), so $50 for cleaning two jackets was almost the same price for buying a new one.”

“Super Wash Millbrae was a delightful surprise. I had dreaded washing all my blankets and comforters, which didn't fit in my home washing machine. I thought I would need a million quarters, but found out that at Super Wash, I could just use my credit card on many of their machines. While using quarters on one of the dryers, however, John, the attendant (owner?) kindly came over to explain to me that I could just add quarters if more time needed as long as I did so before the initial 20 minutes expired. This man was trying to save me money in his laundromat!!! The one dollar bill changer dispensed however many quarters I needed. I easily purchased four Downey sheets. All the washers and dryers worked great and the place was clean as a whistle. I enjoyed chatting with a few of the other patrons, and John came over and offered to help when it was time to fold my clean, dry, fluffy comforters! A chore I had dreaded took a very short time to accomplish and turned into a lovely adventure. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!”

“We took in our king size bedspread, washed it in hot water with our own pre measured detergent, and used a large washer. The was cycle was about 30 minutes, with an extra rinse. We dried it in a large dryer for 40 minutes, and it came out fluffed and clean smelling. It cost us about $13, and was worth every penny of it.”
