“Had to drop in and do laundry while visiting a friend. The washers cost twice what they do where I live. But after washing. I’d say it is worth it. The place is super clean and even though it’s super crowded, it’s really nice.”
“Excellent customer service. They were really short-staffed the week I tried them and they took my sweater as a custom rush order so I could pick up prior to leaving town. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. I pick ed up my sweater which was handed to me folded in a protective and breathable pouch. I've never received such care for a sweater. Kudos to Crystal Cleaning. They were also very polite and friendly at drop off and pick up. Wish I lived nearby, as I'd come a lot more often .”
“I love this cobbler! They are an adorable family that pays close attention to detail, cares a lot about customer service and offers reasonable prices. I brought a pair of long black boots that kept breaking and the Cobbler team fixed them. When they broke again, they fixed them again for free! I highly recommend this place for any shoe fixing needs.”
“I don't write a lot of reviews, but these folks deserve one. The suit I bought when I got married 20 years ago still fits great except the pants (as these things go). I want to be able to wear it again, so I took the pants to J's. The gentleman had me try them on and saw they needed to be let out about 3" (eek!). But sadly, he pointed out there was maybe 1.75" of fabric on the seam. He discouraged me a bit, saying he didn't think he could make it happen. His partner then came out and they discussed. They concluded it was questionable at best. I asked them to "do the best you can" and also resolved to diet/de-bloat a bit during the week they had them.
When I picked them up, PERFECTION! They used what fabric was there, plus he told me "I moved the buttons a little for you, too." Now I can actually wear my suit! $25 well worth it! Highly recommend!!”

“My daughter needed her prom dress altered. We initially went to a different place that only did alterations, but they were expensive. I had a feeling the owner overcharged us. We left her dress there overnight. However, I didn't feel good about it, so I called Debbie's Dry Cleaners after finding them on Yelp. The person who answered was extremely helpful and gave me a ballpark figure. My husband brought my daughter there. It was a great experience. They were so reasonable (saved $30) and fast. The dress looks great on my daughter. I totally recommend Debbie's Dry Cleaners for dress alterations!”

“I was in a huge time crunch while I was traveling for work and tried a few cleaners to see if I can get my clothes washed and folded before my flight. Kate went above and beyond to help me out. I can’t give enough praise for this business and for Kate.”
“Very convenient. Machines are fast, numerous, and many take cards for payment. Detergent and dryer sheets (bring quarters or make change) available from the dispenser machine.”
“I've been going to Laurel Cleaners for a few years, mostly for tailoring but also dry cleaning on occasion. They always do a wonderful job, especially on original hem for jeans. Today, though, I became a customer for life! The zipper on my daughter's Halloween costume broke while trying it on at 4pm on October 30. I panicked, and rushed it over to this shop. She took a look and told me she could fix the zipper before noon the next day! After being in panic mode, the service and accommodation was priceless for this mama... and she still only charged me $10 for the emergency fix. I can't say enough about how happy I am I knew to bring it here!! They are amazing.”
“I had the pleasure of recently entrusting my suit to Elite Cleaners & Tailors, and the experience has been nothing short of outstanding. As someone who values quality and attention to detail, I found this to be the perfect place for my dry cleaning needs.Their turn-around time might not feature 24-hour service, but the quality of their work and the level of their customer service far outweigh any speed-related considerations. Each garment is given the time and attention it deserves, which is evident in the impeccable outcome. The owner, who is frequently present at the store, is a gem of a person. She is not only exceedingly nice but also runs the business with a professionalism that is both refreshing and reassuring. Her warmth and dedication make each visit to Elite Cleaners & Tailors feel more personal and enjoyable. The location of Elite Cleaners & Tailors is another noteworthy advantage. Nestled in the heart of downtown Palo Alto. Now, let's talk about the pricing - it's just as impressive as the service. In my experience, it's a rarity to find such high-quality service at reasonable rates, but Elite Cleaners & Tailors hits the mark perfectly. The value you get from their service is exceptional, considering the level of care and attention they put into each garment.”
“Top Hat is the friendliest and kindest place to have cleaning and mending done I've encountered on the peninsula and most probably in my life. Their fees are always more than reasonable and they have mended for me jackets, shirts, pants and backpacks on top of all the dry cleaning I send them.”
“Amazing service and expertly done alteration including adding a zipper. I had read previous reviews and was extremely pleased to find they were spot on. Recommend highly for dry cleaning and alterations!!”

“I dropped off a dress to get hemmed - it was satin fabric which can be hard to work with and it had a second layer. The dress was ready a few days later and the workmanship was great! They took off exactly as much as I had asked for and the price was only $35!!
When I dropped the dress off around 5pm on a weekday the seamstress wasn’t there, so it’s a good thing I had already measured it at home and had an approximate length to take off.”
“Was driving through and needed laundry done fast. Quick service and a very kind owner! Had reasonable prices too. Highly recommend using their service.Service: Laundry wash & fold”
“Hills Cleaners has been my dry cleaning place for almost 30 years, even i moved away from the neighborhood, i still come back to his place. They clean the clothes professionally and perfectly. The owner is super friendly. i am very satisfied with the services and highly recommend the place.”
“They did a truly amazing job on cleaning my wedding dress. I had originally taken it to the chain Elegance Preserved, which called my dress "challenging" due to the dirt at the bottom of the hem, and charged me over $100 more than Rose Cleaners charged me. When I took it to Rose Cleaners, they immediately said that it was no problem, charged me their standard wedding dress cleaning rate, and returned it to me a week later with amazing results! It looks as if it was never worn! Thank you!!”

“Owner is very helpful and a great person. She is the type of person to remember your birthday or any other small detail about your life. Service is wonderful and always on time. Highly recommend to the Stanford community for any dry cleaning services.”
“I use Roy's every 3-4ish months to clean a set of wool dry clean shirts, have always been satisfied.
Recently used them to mend a torn wool jacket - a good 2 inch tear - the fix was well done and clean! It was a unclean tear, and thus a challenge, but Roy's was able to do a great job at fixing it up, as much as anyone could reasonably expect given the situation.
The man typically running the desk is always kind and efficient. I hope Roy's is around as long as I am.Services: Special care fabric cleaning”

“I started coming to A-1 Cleaners when I first moved to Burlingame 7 years ago and continue to use them, even when I moved away to South San Francisco a year ago.
The reason I make the trip down to Burlingame for them is because their quality service and hospitality is like no other place I’ve encountered on the Peninsula. The trip is also worth my peace of mind because I know my clothes will be perfect and in tact!”

“Service was good. Although, was told to come back in 10days, which I did but items weren't ready...wasn't critical, but always disappointing. My understanding cost was going to be in neighbor of 80ish$......was surprised mid three figures$ cost. I probably misunderstood...I'll go back in future if repairs are needed.”

“Super Wash Millbrae was a delightful surprise. I had dreaded washing all my blankets and comforters, which didn't fit in my home washing machine. I thought I would need a million quarters, but found out that at Super Wash, I could just use my credit card on many of their machines. While using quarters on one of the dryers, however, John, the attendant (owner?) kindly came over to explain to me that I could just add quarters if more time needed as long as I did so before the initial 20 minutes expired. This man was trying to save me money in his laundromat!!! The one dollar bill changer dispensed however many quarters I needed. I easily purchased four Downey sheets. All the washers and dryers worked great and the place was clean as a whistle. I enjoyed chatting with a few of the other patrons, and John came over and offered to help when it was time to fold my clean, dry, fluffy comforters! A chore I had dreaded took a very short time to accomplish and turned into a lovely adventure. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!”
“First time using the laundromat. The place is spacious and well-organized. It has different load-capacities washer- $7, $9, $11, $12 and $14. Cost looks right for me. Drying expense is pretty simple 25 cents/5 minutes. Dryers were big enough. I put a heavy load with 10-12 denims and it took 30 minutes to dry them properly.
Laundromat has two coin vending machines, so if you run out of coins you can quickly get change. Only con I found- I didn’t get any functional card usable machine.”

“Un muy Buen Lugar para lavar. ESTA siempre limpio por las personas que trabajan alli.TO THE OWNER: there is a restaurant next to your laundry. You shouldn't let this lady wash her dirty towels at this location because the greasy odor from the towels sticks to the dryers and when we take our clothes out of the dryers; they smell like kitchen towels. This odor won't go away even if we use drysheets.2nd: There is not a bathroom or a sink to wash our hands.3rd: some people use vinegar to do their laundry. It shouldn't be allowed because the odor sticks to the washers.4th. I have noticed that some washers and dryers were altered by someone. Let say that a wash cycle is suppose to last "30 minutes" I set the alarm for 30 minutes but I came back 15 minutes earlier and I noticed that the cycle was about to finish . I was like what the ... Is going on with this washer..5ft. There should be a phone number to contact the owner.”
“We took in our king size bedspread, washed it in hot water with our own pre measured detergent, and used a large washer. The was cycle was about 30 minutes, with an extra rinse. We dried it in a large dryer for 40 minutes, and it came out fluffed and clean smelling. It cost us about $13, and was worth every penny of it.”
