“My mom had put a stamp which was worth twice the rate of a regular stamp and was sad when he made me pay for another stamp..I thought is was a regular stamp but it wasn't so I didn't notice and he should have! I paid him more money to send my mom's mail and he should have looked at the stamps value and not charged me. He also asked me to return a letter that was put in my mailbox addressed to a different address completely and a different name to my Post Office..I told him the mail man had delivered twice to my house! I said send it to the correct house I don't want to drive to another PO. He finally agreed to take it. Why should it be my problem. I had put it in the outgoing mail after getting it in my mailbox with the flag up and my stupid mailman just didn't even look at it and put on my mailbox again!!! Didn't even look to see the address was a different street, number, and name!!! So why ask me to any more than leave it at ANY post office? So d**** Not my problem. It was someone else's gas company bill. Sheesh!!!”

“Postal Services in Sierra Madre, Los Angeles, California...We had just finished breakfast nearby when I asked my friend, Hannah, if there was a post office nearby. She pointed and said that there was one right around the corner! Yay!Sierra Madre's post office is cozy, calm, and mellow. I felt like I was in a safe, small, quaint country town. I parked in the back of the building and walked in the building from the side door.Other people parked in the front, on the street, and walked in the front door.It wasn't crowded, so, I walked right up to the letter slot, tossed my postcard in, and left.Easy as pie!”

“Typically I loathe going to the Post Office as much as the DMV. Today however I had the most pleasant experience and here are the reasons why. 1. Parking was readily available ( This post office has a good amount of spaces and there is residential parking available as well. 2. The line was non-existent ( There might have been one person ahead of me in line. PRO-TIP: If you come before 11:30 the line is smaller, they tend to get busier in the afternoon) 3. Pleasant customer service ( Ms. Lucy was kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. She even double-checked a shipping policy of the receiving address to make sure packages were still being accepted. Thank you Ms. Lucy you're awesome!) I will definitely keep this Post Office in my rotation.”

I have heard people be nosey about a previous employee who was in terrible health. Dumbasses like this Rob want to know things that obviously standing in line behind them can not be discussed by another employee. “Michael was very helpful and attentive. He was very friendly and helped me with what I needed to do quickly and efficiently.The location is great as well. The parking isn't as ample as people in these reviews make it out to be. The parking is usually packed, and the parking lines are drawn strangely to where people mispark their cars so sometimes one car takes up two spaces.Besides that there's no long line and wait. Quiet and Clean. Just don't think that the parking lot is huge and plentiful like how these reviews make it out to seem because its not. It is a huge parking lot but half of it is blocked off for employees.”

“Most USPS experiences leave much to be desired but I had one today that made up for the less positive ones. Geovanne went out of his way to help me figure out my issue and efficiently handled it with a great attitude- didn't make me feel like I was wasting time. Most of the time I ask questions I'm met with impatience or cold attitude. Thanks Geovanne! Makes me want to come back. Wish they opened earlier like other locations and had better parking situation but conveniently located for me.”

“This is where I rent my private mailbox, due to my home's mailbox not being secure enough. It's not fun when your neighbors steal your packages! They'll hold your packages for you for free for 2 days. After that, there's a fee... I believe it's $1 or $2 per day. The mailbox lobby has 24 hour access, just plug in your assigned pin at the door keypad. Lisa - the owner - is a sweetheart and recognizes her customers by name. (I think she recognizes me...) There's also one or two adorable Shih Tzus (i think) hanging around the counter, and they're so cute and super friendly.”

“This is my go-to post office because the staff are friendly and helpful and typically when I go (early morning) the wait time is totally reasonable. Parkings not ideal but there are usually a few spots on the street open if you can't wait a few mins for a spot to open up in the lot.”

“The only reason I'm giving 5 stars is because of KAY she is amazing and completely patient..Her 2 co workers a man with glasses at the desk and a woman with tattoos. We're extremely rude to her for going out of her way to help the people waiting on passports. Kay is very fast and friendly and I really appreciate her time for helping me and my two children with our passports. The disrespect she received from her coworkers was not right it should be dealt with and was very unprofessional in front of the customers. The man just kept saying rude things towards her. She does not deserve that and I know for a fact he could have helped her with the passport line he has helped my husband once before. And can you please update your passport walk in hours on the website they are incorrect they are not 2:45-3:45 pm”

Seriously, I have received attitude and even hostility at 2 of the 3 other post office locations that I have done business at. “I like this Post Office because they have a stamp machine, which is easy & convenient. The lobby is well kept and always stocked with postal supplies. The P.O. Boxes are easy to access and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. There is a small parking lot on the side (off the alley) and 20-minute parking out front.”

“Initially I posted one star....but an amazing staff member still on the premises at almost 9PM came to the lobby and fixed the self serve machine so I could get a package out. I was writing the review before I saw him. I was initially frustrated because the lobby was locked on the weekend without website notice. I went back Monday and processed almost $10 in postage for a package...no postage issued....tried again....same thing. Someone did not load postage labels in machine properly. Looks like from the jammed labels there were several before me that walked away without their postage, too. I hope to get the second label refunded. I appreciate the employee that went the extra mile!”

Security is so tight at the door which may upset people but if you can look past that then this is one of the cleanest, quickest post offices I have been to in the city.
