“I love this store! I've been there to buy shoes twice and also dropped by for a community run they do every Sunday. Each time I've been here, the customer experience has been beyond wonderful. Ellis helped walk me through many shoe options best fit for my needs on both occasions and helpfully explained the differences between the shoes, what they do, and guided me through the decision making. At one point I was staring at the nutrition shelf since I'm new to them and the crew at Renegade let me take them home to try! I really did appreciate that since I was so clearly lost. Will definitely be back and continue to return for all my future shoe endeavors.”

“5 out of 5 all around- professional, friendly, and very knowledgable! AJ is the man to go see. I let him know what I was experiencing with my new set and how the game has gotten less fun with how bad I was playing. After reviewing my swing and seeing where the contact was on the face, he knew immediately what was needed to be adjusted on my irons. He adjusted the lie angle to my irons and behold- i was hitting the middle of the face 90%-95% of the time. Even the misses weren't horrendous. With the adjustment and the new dope grips- AJ definitely got me to love the game again! Appreciate you AJ!”

“I am a fan of all the Sports Basement stores but the Byrant Street Location is the best for customer service and especially for their bike service!!! Many times I have gone to the team and they have been able to help me with a smile and with tough situations. I have a Van Moof bike and they are not easy to service because of their unique items. Yet the team of bike technicians always finds a way to help me. Janelle is very patient and helpful and knowledgeable. Jason has done some incredible work very quickly at a great value too. And Josh and Brad are so helpful as well. Brad is always friendly with great suggestions and it's nice he acknowledges you as a repeat customer! I'm blown away by their skills and their positive & friendly demeanor. The associates in the entire store are also helpful. "Dee" for example carried my bike, not once but twice. I'm in the hospitality industry and wish I had employees like these to help us with our guest service! Well done team and THANK YOU!”

“I went in with the intent of buying a Trek FX 2, but after speaking with Robert about what I was looking for he recommended a different model that fit my needs much better. He was extremely helpful and had answers to all my questions which helped me feel super well-informed before making a decision. I never felt pressured into buying anything and it was obvious that he just wanted to help me make the best decision based on my needs. “The store was cool, arranged nicely. They keep it tidy. Definitely an element of hurry and anxiety when shopping there during the holidays because everyone is hustling to get their stuff. Prices are still pretty high but it's Columbia, what do you expect. If you really look deep, you could find nicely priced items. In my opinion, the shoes are really where it's at but I could be wrong. Cool store located in a nice waterfront area, very nice. :)”

“The fellas over at Liberal Fishing Tackle and Loan are TOP NOTCH. Don't let the rough side of town discourage you from visiting. I promise you it is safe and the crew WILL take GREAT care of you. They offer EXTREMELY fair prices on everything. I will say that I was pleasantly surprised at the selection of stuff ESPECIALLY the guitars!!! Seriously though, I am not being too "liberal" when I say these guys are worth every minute and every dime if you are looking, not only to pawn, sell or trade, but GREAT SELECTION of items and what a place to get FISHING GEAR too!! “I'm an avid hiker and camper, and I've been buying Patagonia gear (among other brands) for years. Most recently I had bought a Patagonia down jacket, and the zipper had started ripping the fabric near the neck end of the zipper. I went and asked them to repair it, but they said even though it *could* be repaired, they were currently backlogged and it would take 10 weeks. Instead they offered me a voucher in the value of the jacket's original price, which I could apply to the price of the latest model of this jacket. They said they would still repair the jacket and then donate it, so it wouldn't end up in the trash. I gladly accepted their offer and ended up paying an additional $55 to have the latest model shipped directly to my home address. Great environmental and societal conscience, and great customer service.”

“As I company, I'm a big fan of T9. Love their brand, their products, their real-women athlete models. I had my first in-store experience in years when I came in to return something that I ordered online which didn't fit. The store did not disappoint. The associate who helped me was assisting others when I walked in, so I looked around for my replacement jumper. They didn't have it, but it was no problem. Within a few minutes, the T9 associate had processed my return, ordered another in the right size, and helped me order a pair of shorts I'd been eying in the catalogue (after trying on the size and deciding on a slightly different length and color). Both would get delivered to me at home for no delivery fee. I'm not sure how much the return and second delivery charges would have been, but I was happy to not find out. Now I'm so excited about my new summer jumper and shorts that will be coming soon!”

However, John provided excellent recommendations and was so patient with all my questions, that I knew I was going to make my purchase at Plaza! And so...I came back a second time to sign up for the demo program to try out a few rackets. I have to say John was spot on and I found myself a new racket!
