“One of the places I have to go when coming to phoenix. The staff are super friendly and helping. You are able to try everything on. Very large variety. Don’t be intimidated by the bigger brands with high prices, they always have a cheaper price in brands that are the same.”

“I can not sing this store’s praises enough!! Not only do they have some of the best looking and best priced suits in the Valley but their alterations department in the back is a hidden gem!!
Let me start with the suits: my family has two weddings in less than 6 months, mine and my sister’s. My dad went in and was able to get one suit with different vest/accessories that worked perfectly for both weddings. They have a wedding package where EVERYTHING, even down to your shoes, is included for like less than $300 before tax? It’s a steal. And they are VERY size accommodating! My dad is a bigger guy and was able to get his suit ordered and tailored within about a month.
Now, onto the alterations. This shop worked absolute magic. Not only did they work on both of my mom’s dresses for both of the weddings, but they also did my maid of honor dress for my sister’s wedding and my WEDDING DRESS for my wedding! Their seamstresses turned my dress into exactly what I was envisioning AND made it to where I don’t even have to wear ANY shapewear with that dress! I have never looked, or felt, better in my entire life. They have made me feel like a princess and on top of it, are going to be the one’s to get my Prince Charming ready for our big day. Rick and his team are the absolute best and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

“We were on Roosevelt Row and looking for some coffee and a baked good. Onyx sweet shop was open and welcomed us in. The space is clean and they offer plenty of sweets and drinks. We got a little bit of everything including cookies, pineapple upside down cake, pound cake and a Dalgona coffee (TikTok trend). The prices are on par with other local bakeries. The standout item we all agreed on was the pineapple upside down cake. It was so good! The pound cake I know is a dense cake but it didn't taste fresh. The cookies were okay. The coffee was soo good! Would definitely stop in and grab one again!”

“Bunky continues to be a favorite local place. They always have such wonderful things and their staff cares about your experience. Most recently, I called to ask if they still had an item my friend loved when she visited- not only did the person find it for me at the other location, but she called her coworker to coordinate a special touch for the friend I was shipping the item to. Together these two people made a truly special moment for my friend at her baby shower. I can’t say thank you enough.”

“Whenever I'm visiting a city, I always make an appointment to stop by a local gift shop, preferably one that offers things like magnets and art prints. Made is conveniently located in the Roosevelt row area next to different eateries and breweries. I found everything that I would need, including a new magnet for my collection. They had a good selection of local goods, including jewelry, pottery, and more. The smallest overall pretty small, but definitely worth stopping by. Prices varied.”

“Love this shop!!!! I received a gorgeous ring from this store as a gift but it didn't fit - when I took it back to the store I thought I might just get store credit (which is fine because there are SO MANY beautiful products to pick from) but to my surprise they were SO ACCOMMODATING and went out of their way to coordinate with the vendor in order to get a special size made. They made the experience so easy and now I have a ring that fits perfectly!
The owner is so incredibly cool and I love that this business stands on their values! All of their products are sourced from small makers, artists and independent designers. Love love LOVE Local Nomad. Forever fan. Can't wait to go back.”
