6176 Pepsi Way, Windsor“Cute little place on Atwood. Nice flights and wines to choose from. Seating a bit tight with loud (but happy!) customers on a busy, sunny Saturday, so friend & I relocated to the back bottle area. Wait staff very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely return. Hoping to sit outside when warmer!”
“Came to visit from out of state. This place is awesome! It seemed like there were hundreds of beers to choose from. They provide an opportunity to try anything you can think of. Multiple size options too. Highly recommended.”
“This is one of the best liquor stores in the Madison area. I almost hate to rate this and give away a hidden treasure. The liquor selections are some of the best that I’ve seen. They have an extensive beer selection as well as plenty of wine options. The store picks for alcohol are very good. they have some higher proof single barrel options that other stores would fight to have in their inventory. They also have the most extensive collection of mini bottles that I’ve seen in person. This is a definite stop for all you sneaky sippers out there.Staff is very pleasant.”
“I've never seen so many helpful people at a liquor store in my whole life. I was looking for some N/A options and they had a great selection. Everyone was super friendly.”
“Owner Suny is very helpful and gregarious. I came in looking for allocated bourbon. We exchanged numbers and by the end of the week he found me a bottle of Eagle Rare.
He also recommended a bottle of Baby Jane which I had never heard of but was blown off my feet! This is my go to place for hard to find bourbons in Sun prairie.”
“Best small liquor store in Madison. I would almost call this a "craft" liquor store, because they could definitely help you put together an awesome cocktail. The staff and especially the manager, Dylan, is beyond reputable and trustable in his knowledge of wines, liquors etc”
“Great selection and generally good prices to within a dollar or two for most things relative to the cheapest price you'll find in Dane County. Very convenient if you live anywhere in Waunakee! They also carry a few rarer things that no other local liquor stores carry.”
10AM - 12AM
609 N Sherman Ave, Madison“Great Selections for all things in Adult Beverages. Wines, mixes, whiskeys, scotch, you name it.
Best Ice on the planet, too. Heed the warning though; don't throw the bag on the floor to break it up, because it WILL break. 'Nough said.
Deb and all the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, and always willing to assist.
Keep up the great work!”
“Saw a post on Facebook about these guys having something hard to find at a good price. I had never been there before, but messaged them to see if they had any left and without hesitation they held a bottle for me. Their display of it was immediately inside the front door. No hiding, no games, nice staff, great pricing. I’ll be back.”
“Very good to great selection, especially for beer. Slightly smaller. more intimate, and lower volume version of the store hear Michaels Custard ... depending on who's working, knowledge may or may-not be better. Really NEED a "4.5" option!! ... Gave the other location "5" for slightly better selection!”
“This was my first time at this store and I must say it was very enjoyable. The staff (especially Billy) were all very helpful and knowledgeable of their products. I was provided samples of anything I desired and given other samples to compare against the choices I was interested in.Not only do they have oils and vinegars, but they also carry a huge assortment of liquor and whiskey. Additionally, they offer dinner events and cooking classes to experience the uses of many of the products they carry.Although this was a first time visit, there will be many more in the future.”
“The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The store isn't huge, but has all the common popular brands and choices. If you're looking for a less common or specialty wine, beer, or liquor, you may have to go elsewhere. The physical store is older and darker than newer or remodeled places.
But it is a great corner store open every day until 9.”

1209 Williamson St, Madison“I always enjoy my interactions with the staff. They are patient, friendly, and willing to talk. I've received and made great recommendations over the years. The willingness to incorporate local tastes while still cultivating their own selection is what makes Star a neighborhood gem.”
9AM - 9PM
424 N Main St, DeForest“Good little liquor store.
Selection is limited due to the size of the store… But they have everything you might need. Prices are very reasonable.”
“I was truly impressed- it was like a museum! Oh, so many colorful offerings and varieties on site. I stopped on a humbug, but if im in the area this will definitely be my go-to...”
“Wish they would open at 6am when we went rafting ...since the time is 6am is legal to sell in Cottage Grove and didnt have to mosey on over to KT.. But otherwise very good, kind, knowledgeable, helpful service.”
“Great liquor store with a very good selection. They have a number of hard to find bottles.Prices are reasonable. For instance, the bottle of Buffalo Trace was listed at $39.99. That’s not the worst price I’ve seen, but it is about 50% over MSRP. If you’re a fan of BT, then you won’t mind paying a premium for availability.”

1099 S Grand Ave, Sun Prairie“Will go out of our way just for this woodmans location. It is always clean and well stocked. Their product availability is superior to the east side and west side locations. I especially appreciate the entire ethnic foods and health food isles. The employee's are friendly and knowledgeable. Customer service is great.”

1763 Thierer Rd, Madison“I have a built a relationship with the owner since they first opened and he has always been kind to help me out finding rare products. I don’t get mad if I am not able to get rare stuff that gets in since he has plenty of other loyal customers to help out.I have been in the store and have watched bourbon hunters ask for Blanton’s, Eagle Rare, etc. with no luck and just leave. That is not the way to do it. People can go to Woodman’s, Total Wine, other grocery stores for their goods if they want something cheaper, but it pays to support local stores especially if you’re on the hunt for rare bourbon.Don’t be mad that you didn’t get a bottle of Blanton’s because you stop in the store and ask for it and then leave immediately.”
“Rocky's has been around since I was a kid. I am in my early 40's now. I love this place, always have, always will! Keep up the great work, and dont listen to the haters on here.”
“Very friendly and helpful staff paired with a good selection of beer, liquor, and wine. They do carry domestics as well if you’re looking for a stop much quicker than say, woodman’s. Plenty of parking available and the inside is orderly and clean - easy to find what you’re after.”
“Nice little neighborhood liquor store. The shelves are a little hit or miss for liquor. They do have some decent bottles behind the counter for reasonable prices though,”

1099 S Grand Ave, Sun Prairie“Great store. Love the variety of items. I was especially delighted with the bird section. Even though I wish there were more in terms of toys for smaller birds. Never the less it's a great store. Everything you need can be found in one place. I was a bit baffled, though, that rice and flour were not in the same aisle.”
9AM - 9PM
Sun Prairie“Authentic Indian, Thai, Hmong groceries. Convenient location. Friendly service. Excellent meat and fish selection. Best kingfish, individually packaged fillets. Good Perch fish. Lots of items for Thailand, Hmong cuisine. They have a cosmetic section too. They have wig collection, eye lashes, shampoo and hair masks. Alcohol is great . It is also a smoke shop. We shop here since years.”
“Such a great spot for any time of day. Just moved in across the street and this place has everything.... great, fresh food, awesome options for beer and seltzers.... tampons..... cold brew bottled and on tap. And the employees are awesome too, always so nice and friendly. 100000/10”

3817 Milwaukee St, Madison“I'm thankful for Woodman's 24/7 service of operation. Multi cultural produce supermarket. Especially Hmong food; rice, pho, fish sauce, siratcha, and egg roll wrappers. My son loves their sushi deli! Very fresh vegetables.”
“Truck drivers use 1st Pepsi entrance on Pepsi way. There's a gate, pull up to it, push green button below intercom, then push grey button to talk, release button to listen. Intercom not very loud so need to really get close and pay attention when they speak. I had to get out of tractor and put my ear right by intercom to know what they said. If u miss the entrance there is an area you can turn around at end of Pepsi Way but it's a tight turn in a sleeper cab to do it. Easy to get to, not even a mile off I-90. There's a Kwik trip that has a truck island just down street if you need fuel.”
