424 N Pinckney St, Madison“If you are a lucky traveler, occasionally you will find special place that is SO special that you don’t want to tell anyone else about it. Mansion Hill Inn is one of those rare places.
The employees were nice and helpful. The building is just amazing - Romanesque architecture at its finest. Our room was very special with ample room. Our huge bathroom was filled with fine French toiletries and even had a heated floor. The bed and sheets were the NICEST we have ever slept in - bar none. You won’t want to get out of the bed! Seriously! The breakfast goodies were locally made baked goods and were exceptionally delicious.
We are absolutely coming back here and would like to make it a yearly tradition. Only two hours from home, but felt like a European vacation getaway!
Well done!!!”

901 E Washington Ave, Madison“This is a solid grade A for accommodations. Less than a 15mins ride to/from the airport and shuttle is included. Wonderful perky front desk staff. Their courtyard landscape is very well done. Key card access is needed for elevator use (added security.) IHG brand points. Cute- hip decor throughout the hotel. Extra perk of frig, expresso maker, and microwave in the room.
I slept wonderfully! I would definitely return.”

Nearby activities: Close to campus, Camp Randall, and the waterfront trails and parks.

Food and drinks: Campus nightlife is close but so are many grown up options!”

4802 Tradewinds Pkwy Building A, Madison“Came here because of the reviews, the pet policy, and Tammy! Tammy was SO helpful and patient answering all of my questions and making recommendations. Henry was great too!
The room was clean, the pool area was nice.
One of my favorite parts was the shower. Great water pressure and the way the bathroom laid out is very user friendly.
This seems like a reliable choice for a hotel if you are looking for something clean and comfortable.
Rooms: We had a single king bed - pretty cramped but the bathroom was spacious and functional. Everything was neat, climate control worked well.
Nearby activities: We went to Toby's Supper Club, it was a two minute drive and a ten minute walk. They had great deals on dinner, definitely check it out. Other than that everything was about a 15-25 minute drive. We walked around on State Street and checked out the free zoo.
Safety: For the most part this place is pretty isolated and quite. There are plenty of locks on the doors and the staff is very good about monitoring the front.
Walkability: Not much to walk to besides Toby's - but that's worth it.
Food and drinks: Breakfast was fun and delicious (Belgian waffles, fluffy eggs), but bring some fruits and veggies to snack on. Very high sugar/low nutritional value options due to processing. I know it's not a Whole Foods - just a tip if you're going to be depending on their breakfast as an essential part of your meal planning/budgeting (which we were).
Noteworthy details: Wifi worked great!
No housekeeping knocking on our door an hour before check out! Can't lie, this was pretty nice. The elevator is very speedy.
Their pet policy is $25 a night and you cannot leave your animal in the room unattended. This made a couple of things tricky, like enjoying the free breakfast, but it's a good price for what we needed.
We were on the top floor, and there was a weird vibration that went through the floor and the bed that would occur for extended periods of time. From the hotel, not from us. ? It woke us up a few times in the night. It wasn't bad enough to say something.”
“We spent 3 nights here. No complains. I liked my breakfast. Give me eggs in different ways and I'm happy. Coffee was excellent.
Good choice of breakfast food.
Rooms: Rooms are clean and neat. Housekeeping was good.”
“This is a convenient location to host medium to large meetings or conferences. It has its own parking ramp for guests only, which is a really great feature in downtown Madison. they delivered on all our agreed-upon logistics and kept things efficient.”
“Rooms: Rooms are nice enough.Safety: They have ada accessible rooms if you ask for them.Walkability: Walkabout is fine so long as you don’t need to cross the street for the coffee shop.Food & drinks: There’s a bar and grill right under the north side rooms. I was in the second floor on the weekend and it was pretty noisy. During the summer they have live music outdoors. There’s also a pretty decent Mexican restaurant at the northern end of the building complex. The bar and grill has a veggie burger and the Mexican joint has vegetarian options and nice mixed drinks. Across the street is a great coffee shop. Within a walk is four fast food options.”
“Clean, quiet hotel. This is a well kept hotel with decent rooms but great service! Very comfortable with living area, kitchenette. Quick easy check-in No road Noice although conveniente to interstate. Comfortable bed and excelente water pressure. Front-desk men Veer was very helpful. I would stay here again if i passed through Madison.Noteworthy details: Especially if you're travelling with Big truck. They have a huge parking area that easily accommodates large vehicles.”

4402 E Washington Ave, Madison“The focus of this review is service. Excellent staff.
I left my work backpack in the room a d checked out... After about 2hrs, I realized the backpack was still in the room.
I called the hotel, they located the laptop and I asked them to keep it at the front desk as I would get it the next day. They agreed
I arrived the next day to find my backpack on the desk, not on the floor or in some corner. There was a printed notice to the staff that I would be getting it. Simply awesome. I got it back and everything was in place.
The rooms and overall amenities in this hotel was very good. There is a Starbucks coffee in the lobby.
I would definitely stay there again.”
“I was really impressed with the Best Western Premier Park Hotel. I needed to stay downtown last minute, I usually stay at the AC Hotel since I am a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member. Due to limited options, I ended up booking here instead. I have enjoyed food and drinks multiple times at The Post, but had never stayed in the hotel. The rooms were nicely renovated, the decor had an old luxury feel with nods to the Capitol and Madison which I loved. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed. The staff were very friendly and I enjoyed the reasonably priced room service for breakfast. Overall, very pleased and would highly suggest.”

9 E Wilson St, Madison“Quick in-and-out one-night stay here. No perks for Diamond members. Room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, although the AC unit was terribly loud (had to turn it off to sleep). Gym was functional. Tiny pool, but the hot tub was nice. Late dinner in the hotel restaurant was surprisingly decent.”
“I've had to stay here on several occasions for work trips. I always get friendly service and the rooms are always well kept and feel fresh. There is a pool and a gym as well, along with ample parking all the way around the building. They do not serve breakfast, but there is a restaurant in the building that is a convenient option if you don't wish to go to any of the nearby dining choices. It is located right off the interstate, near the Madison airport as well as a few minutes from downtown Madison. It's a solid choice for a stay, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again in the future.”

It is next to the lake and university.
Just the Coffee shop inside has no good sweet option for breakfast food and the bar close early.”

1308 W Dayton St, Madison“Love staying here! The rooms are always spotless and welcoming with small University of Wisconsin touches throughout. Front staff is always great, making check-in and out a breeze. The location within the UW Union South is hard to beat, especially on game day as Camp Randall is right across the street. Within the union itself, there a a few places to get something to eat or drink as well a great little store for Badger swag. Town is still an easy walk making all that downtown madison has to offer easily accessible.”

Rooms: Rooms are very spacious and accommodating
Nearby activities: It's a Mall across the street
Walkability: Everything is within walking distance
Food & drinks: It's food and drinks all around the area”
“Nice and quiet. Stayed for a business trip. Close to Verona and the well known EHR's HQ. Several restaurants in easy walking distance and across the parking lot from a grocery store. Loved my room, living room with couch and separate bedroom. Standard walk in shower with door. I only ate breakfast there the very last day of my stay and it was standard hotel breakfast if scrambled eggs, sausage, waffle, fruit, muffins, and yogurt . Didn't use the pool etc so can't comment on that.Safety: Felt like a very safe area. Mom's with strollers passing during the day. Hotel building has only one entrance that's monitored. There are other exits guests can use but only the main entrance to get back in.Walkability: Several restaurants within 0.5 mile walk and grocery store across a parking lot.”
“I liked this hotel. The room was quite large for the price and the cleanliness was acceptable. Though I did notice some drain flies appearing in the bathroom and under the cushions on the chair and couch should be vacuumed more frequently. The hotel seemed to have good facilities like a pool and gym though I didn't use them during my stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The drinking fountains near the pool were hit or miss. One fountain shoots water on the wall behind it while the other barely trickles out. Location is the biggest downside as it's not really near anything. But overall I think this hotel is a solid choice if you're on the road and need somewhere to stay.
Rooms: The room was spacious and everything you'd expect to be clean was clean. However I'd say the room I had was a little overdue for a deep clean as evidenced by the appearance of drain flies and the amount of debris under the cushions.”
“Its a very minimalist hotel, but that was a very appealing factor as it was mostly for rest after a long day on the convention floor. My flight got in late, but the front desk made sure that I had everything I needed to get into the room without any hassle. They use a code entry( LOVE THIS!!!!) And the room was well maintained with plenty of towels and replacements for anything in the room. Highly recommend!!!”

Rooms: The rooms were clean and smelled nice upon entering
Safety: Outside doors were locked at a certain time so we had to use our room key to get in”

3301 City View Dr, Madison“The only elevator isn't working. Front desk staff must be used to telling guests to carry their luggage up to the third floor, because there wasn't any sort of apology for the inconvenience. The room keys didn't work properly. Front desk explained that the locks are installed upside down and have to be lifted. The room is okay, but the price charged for such a mediocre hotel is crazy high. Definitely not worth the cost. We will avoid the Staybridge brand and this location.”

820 W Main St, Sun Prairie“clean place, responsibly priced. That’s what I needed.
Rooms: rooms were surprisingly clean.
Walkability: Walked to the nitty gritty for a beer and a burger. If you make it up this way the food is worth a stop.”
“Great hotel all around! We had car trouble so We stopped at a hotel for the night. The comfort suites was being renovated and no occupancy and the hot tub was broken. The Marriot's pool wasn't working. We booked Best Western online with a discount. Room was great. Pool and hot tub FANTASTIC! There was even a faint smell of coconuts. FREE BREAKFAST WAS AWESOME. He kept bringing out different pans of food, ALOT of choices. Great bacon, soft scrambled eggs (I'm actually craving them now). After checkout we stayed and swam in the pool all day while we waited to here about our car. We were pleasantly surprised with nothing bad happening, THANK YOU BEST WESTERN MADISON.”
“Imagine IKEA gets into the lodging business. Not suitable for business, no closet, no chair for relaxing. Nice breakfast options.
Walkability: Lots of trails for a morning walk or run”
