10AM - 11:30PM
828 E Main St, Madison“It's no wonder it's hard to secure a date for the Tinsmith. The venue is gorgeous with industrial chic vibes and tons of plants. Lydia, our venue coordinator, was helpful in answering any and all questions.”
“The staff were very professional and great to work with. We had a wonderful event with many folks complimenting us on the venue, the cocktails, etc. it was a great way to celebrate a 60th birthday!”

201 State St, Madison“Seen Fortune Fiemster and had a great experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful, chairs were comfortable, and the building itself has an inviting atmosphere.”
“Recently planned and hosted an annual private music event with my friends in the auditorium space and really enjoyed the experience! The staff was extremely helpful and communicative when it came to any questions we had throughout planning and executing the event, even with a change in staffing mid-planning! Both Lisa and Brenda (previous and current event planners) were on top of everything and super responsive. The amenities provided for the event, including parking, cash bar, etc. were all great as well! Sam, one of their regular bartenders that worked the bar for the night, was awesome and Craig, the main contact for bar-related questions, was super kind and helpful too. The space was well-suited for our needs with our group and the equipment we brought in; it created an extremely memorable and special experience for my friends and me. Already working on planning next year's event with the Center's event staff! :) Super unique space, truly unforgettable!”

1 John Nolen Dr, Madison“Highly recommend these concerts,. The venues are intimate, the incredibly talented musicians engage with the audience - I’ve been to 3 of them in the last 6 weeks and can’t wait for the next one”
6:30PM - 12AM
2262 Winnebago St, Madison“We hosted our wedding at the Bur Oak in September of 2024. The bartenders did an amazing job fueling our party and the coordination staff was a pleasure to work with. The space was perfect for our 110 person wedding and didn't require a lot of decoration as it has an inherently cool aesthetic.”
“One of my favorite venues, they have incredible lighting for photographers to get very well lit shots. They have seating sections so you can sit and sip on a drink, or a very large dance floor so you can be up and close to the performance.”
“This is a convenient location to host medium to large meetings or conferences. It has its own parking ramp for guests only, which is a really great feature in downtown Madison. they delivered on all our agreed-upon logistics and kept things efficient.”
“Great organization and brings accessibility to outdoor education involvement in the region! Lots of events year-round! Always something for everyone and any age to learn about their environment.”
“I attend Blackhawk Church, and we use the Upper House for our downtown location. We were formerly using the Magestic Theater. A little trivia: The space the Upper House occupies use to be a Food Court.”
Open 24 hours
2082 Winnebago St, Madison“Organization based on a community and a building.Classes / shows, are not run by the organization. 24 hour access for members. Circusing toward a sustainable future, environmentally and socially.”
“My son's wedding was at the Elks Club in Madison. The food was good and the staff were very prompt and kind.
The bartenders were nice and they made a good Old Fashion drink.
I really loved the wedding ceremony facing the lake.
We were very happy with everything. Including welcoming our new daughter-in-law into our family.”
12:00 PM - 9:00 PM
3001 S Stoughton Rd, Madison“The best place ever my home and happy place. I love the coaches and they make gymnastics so fun! They offer gymnastics, volleyball, and other sports you can play on a volleyball court. Love this place 100% would recommend.”
“The best venue in Madison when it comes to EDM music. Really wonderful staff! There are multiple bars so even when it's really packed you don't have to wait forever to get a drink. Bathrooms are big, I usually don't have to wait to pee or if I do, it's a super short wait so I can get back to the music! The artists that they get are so ?? and the local DJs are absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend for a good rave experience!
VIP is definitely the move for this venue if you are a sound gremlin tho! Don't expect to hear the best sound at the rail bc you unfortunately won't ? They need speakers and subwoofers in the middle of the stage to really round out the sound. If they beefed up their sound and added some lasers they would just be taking *all* my money instead of just *most* of it ?
I will also add that I am a sound gremlin and I still super love this venue!”
12:00 PM - 3:00 PM
216 State St, Madison“Madison has lots of great music venues but The Orpheum is still a classic fav. Saw a great show with Brian Setzer. Nice that you can bring drinks into the venue. Bar service was good. Ladies bathrooms are small and lines can be long! Definitely a good venue for the right show.”
7:45AM - 4:30PM
1919 Alliant Energy Center Way, Madison“It's a bit dated, and the sound system wasn't designed for music. There was very little management of traffic after the event.
But the venue will be a part of history because our 1st female president appeared there in front of a packed audience of super excited citizens. While thousands waited in the rain to get in.”
“This was an unexpected delight. We had visited a somewhat dingy college spot before this and they weren't serving beer that day, so we did a quick search and found Smittys. Took us a second to realize it was inside one of the buildings. But we were able to find it and the reception desk told us how to get to the pub upstairs. The pub is small and cozy in the best of ways, with a view of the capital building. The cheese curds here were among the best we had on our entire trip, but we didn't get to try any proper entrees since we'd eaten already. If this were my hotel bar, I would've gladly hung out here all evening with a book.”

4402 E Washington Ave, Madison“The focus of this review is service. Excellent staff.
I left my work backpack in the room a d checked out... After about 2hrs, I realized the backpack was still in the room.
I called the hotel, they located the laptop and I asked them to keep it at the front desk as I would get it the next day. They agreed
I arrived the next day to find my backpack on the desk, not on the floor or in some corner. There was a printed notice to the staff that I would be getting it. Simply awesome. I got it back and everything was in place.
The rooms and overall amenities in this hotel was very good. There is a Starbucks coffee in the lobby.
I would definitely stay there again.”

9 E Wilson St, Madison“Quick in-and-out one-night stay here. No perks for Diamond members. Room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, although the AC unit was terribly loud (had to turn it off to sleep). Gym was functional. Tiny pool, but the hot tub was nice. Late dinner in the hotel restaurant was surprisingly decent.”
Open 24 hours
3301 City View Dr, Madison“The only elevator isn't working. Front desk staff must be used to telling guests to carry their luggage up to the third floor, because there wasn't any sort of apology for the inconvenience. The room keys didn't work properly. Front desk explained that the locks are installed upside down and have to be lifted. The room is okay, but the price charged for such a mediocre hotel is crazy high. Definitely not worth the cost. We will avoid the Staybridge brand and this location.”
“We had our wedding here 11/5/2022 and we could not be any more pleased with how everything turned out! We didn’t have the best weather but the fact they have the main area plus the sunroom/patio area allowed us to have an indoor ceremony space separate from our dinner area which was a key factor for us while looking for a venue. We will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for a venue space in Madison!”
