“My room was clean, perfectly maintained (everything appeared new and well-constructed), and fully equipped with all standard amenities. Bed was comfy, as always for Hampton Inn. I love staying at Hamptons because the chain is consistent; you always know what you're going to get.”

“Pretty much a standard hotel. In walking through the front door your first hit by the chlorine smell from the pool. On one side is the pool on the other side is the bar. You get to the front desk straight in front of you and they're nice enough. The bar stays open until 10:00 p.m. so those late night drinkers are going to be disappointed. No valet service or bring in the bags to the room for you. You get to the room and it's a standard hotel room, to thin but the tables, TV, mirrors, are new. You get. I never knew water came in white with a fuzzy head, bring your own water. The rooms are very well insulated and soundproof but the windows are not. The interior rooms face the pool and the reception so all the kids in the pool noise came straight up to us. I don't know what the outside rooms are like but the views are not great and the neighborhood is a little dangerous. The mall is right across the busy road but I would take a car and the Chinese grocery store is right next to the mall. It was close to where we needed to go, about 5 minutes away but Madison traffic is a little difficult. We had to travel at 4:00 p.m. on a Friday so we only skid on the gravel once, spun the tires once, got turned around once, and ran over somebody trying to cross the busy road to get into the hotel only once. it's pretty bad.”

“Clean,quiet hotel. This is a well kept hotel with decent rooms but great service! Very comfortable with living area, kitchenette. Quick easy check-in No road Noice although conveniente to interstate. Comfortable bed and excelente water pressure. Front-desk men Veer was very helpful. I would stay here again if i passed through Madison.Noteworthy details: Especially if you're travelling with Big truck.They have a huge parking area that easily accommodates large vehicles.”
“Attended a conference with a breakfast buffet. Space was adequate, buffet was OK, but kind of lackluster. Staff were nice and seemed on top of things. I commuted so didn't stay in a room.”

“The only elevator isn't working. Front desk staff must be used to telling guests to carry their luggage up to the third floor, because there wasn't any sort of apology for the inconvenience.The room keys didn't work properly. Front desk explained that the locks are installed upside down and have to be lifted.The room is okay, but the price charged for such a mediocre hotel is crazy high. Definitely not worth the cost. We will avoid the Staybridge brand and this location.”
“Excellent! Towels are lovely! I like the dark color wash cloth for face with makeup words on it. Sunday, we were taking showers between 7:45 - 8:45 am, and the water never got hot or even lukewarm, including the water in the sink. It was difficult to shave.Rooms: The room was clean and very comfortable.Nearby activities: It is nice that you are close to Erin's Snug Irish Pub. It's easy to get back to after leaving Camp Randall after a Badgers football game!Food & drinks: Coffee is really good. Thank you.”

Neighborhood was a bit dicey but location was close to all major highways and had private parking area...a true blessing to have an extended spot to call home on such short notice! -Thanks again Carl !Noteworthy details: Kind, friendly staff that were very accommodating they made me feel safe and welcome ?”
“Great hotel all around! We had car trouble so We stopped at a hotel for the night. The comfort suites was being renovated and no occupancy and the hot tub was broken. The Marriot's pool wasn't working. We booked Best Western online with a discount. Room was great. Pool and hot tub FANTASTIC! There was even a faint smell of coconuts. FREE BREAKFAST WAS AWESOME. He kept bringing out different pans of food, ALOT of choices. Great bacon, soft scrambled eggs (I'm actually craving them now). After checkout we stayed and swam in the pool all day while we waited to here about our car. We were pleasantly surprised with nothing bad happening, THANK YOU BEST WESTERN MADISON.”

“Stayed for a week while we awaited moving into a new home. The front desk staff are very friendly, generous and accommodating to my situation. Beds are comfortable, basically clean, quiet rooms. The bathroom towels are far too thin and small. The pool area and hot tub need a solid cleaning, and was messy with towels or pieces of dirt or trash. The breakfast is hot, yet seemed to have minimal variation and was inconsistent with items like eggs (important for vegetarian types like me). Location is a bit quirky so be sure to ask staff as the GPS is not yet updated with the under-construction roads and signs. The building is mid-renovation and changing to a new brand so I imagine it will be even better in the months to come.”

“I did not end up staying here. The outside looked clean but the lobby smelled very smoky. There were also some people outside their cars smoking. I ended up going out to the burbs for a hotel there. It did look clean, but the smoke kept me from staying there.”
“After spending the day traveling with my son, I was just seeking for a "less expensive" hotel for one night. This location did that while also being very, very pleasant. Definitely recommended. Clean, incredibly comfortable, large, etc.”

“Rooms: Rooms are nice enough.Safety: They have ada accessible rooms if you ask for them.Walkability: Walkabout is fine so long as you don’t need to cross the street for the coffee shop.Food & drinks: There’s a bar and grill right under the north side rooms. I was in the second floor on the weekend and it was pretty noisy. During the summer they have live music outdoors. There’s also a pretty decent Mexican restaurant at the northern end of the building complex. The bar and grill has a veggie burger and the Mexican joint has vegetarian options and nice mixed drinks. Across the street is a great coffee shop. Within a walk is four fast food options.”
