1600 E 4th Plain Blvd, VancouverI have taken my dog to Jan's Grooming the last two times she needed groomed. The first time I brought her I was amazed at how good of job they did. She was a beauty after, with no more under coat! She is a Yukutian Laika, so a big shedder. I vowed then, to only take her to Jan's going forward. Not only the best price but by far the best groomer I have ever found. I returned with her this week. she was shedding like crazy and her white fur was getting very dingy. When I booked her appointment I hoped it was not a fluke, and I just managed to get lucky the first time. To my amazement, they managed to groom my girl even better this time. I didn't even know her fur could be this soft and that she could get so white. Her fur actually glistens. I don't write many reviews, but I actually want to write this review! I want to write reviews every where. I am so happy - and she sure feels better, too!

They got my puppy in the same day I called for a concern, provided a hefty discount, and even cleaned up his poopy fur after he had an accident in the office. They also called the next day (twice!) to check on him and answer my questions. I will never go anywhere else.

13914 NE 16th Ave, VancouverI had such a wonderful experience here with our new puppy Kona. Checking in was easy and the wait was short. In the lobby they have calming bandanas for cats and dogs, which we used for our little pup. The vet tech was nice and approached Kona with treats and patience (he’s a timid pup). The vet was amazing as well, she answered any questions we had and made sure we knew the plan for the next visit. They even took Kona to the back and gave him a tour of the other people and dogs to help with his socialization. When he literally came back he seemed like a new dog hahaha. He was less anxious and more energetic (like he is when it’s just me and my husband around). Overall wonderful experience. I’m really happy, we established care with them!

A friend recommended calling Riverview Animal Hospital after listening to the symptoms they squeezed us in that afternoon. They worked with our budget and were so gentle with our miniature schnauzer. He's back to his playful self, and Riverview Animal Hospital will be our new vet. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you to all of the staff who cared for our boy.

Doctor Primly is wonderful and always makes sure we are heard and the other doctors I’ve seen have been good as well.
Our most recent visit the assistant (I think her name was Makayla) came in and greeted us by our names, which doesn’t sound like a lot but it meant a lot to us and made us feel like she actually read our file and it just made us feel like she cared. She was thorough and kind but most importantly she seemed to have done her research and asked us about the last visit, already had an idea of what our concerns were and a good understanding of previous visits. I was absolutely blown away. You can tell she is genuinely passionate about her work but also wants to build a connection with not only our pet but also us.

And the ice cream is all made in store and was delicious. I had half coffee toffee and sea salt and caramel. You can split the scoop and get two flavors. They recently changed the menu, I'm a huge fan of seasonal menus. I can't get enough of the boiled peanuts and tried the Cottage Pie Empanadas today and they had me doing a little happy dance in my seat, I've never had anything like them. Can't wait to eat through this new menu and see what comes next. Unfortunately I've developed a bit of an allergy to beer but they have a seltzer and ciders on tap, something for everyone!

My oat latte was perfectly balanced, the right amount of milk to espresso, and the bagel was soft and bouncy (good chew). I started picking at the bagel before I made it home.
