They never sent me to collections and when I became more financially secure they worked a payment plan out with me and we reopened an account once I made good on my past due balance. They have always treated me like family, even though my troubles. I will never close my account with them. They have great loan options that I've built my positive credit with and they are so friendly and helpful in all that I need each month. I can honestly say I love my bank. Thanks Canopy. “MY NEW STCU GO TO!! I had no clue this little gem was right above rocket bakery. You can enter through rocket bakery and head up the stairs or through the mall by urban outfitters. This location was so beautiful and the art on the walls was lovely. The associates in this branch were also so kind and laid back. It was very cozy:) will be returning!”

“I've belonged to a few credit unions in my time, but STCU is one of the best. This branch office is just minutes from my home and although I do a lot of my banking online, they have always provided me with excellent customer service. Last year, I received a notification that someone was trying to fraudulently use my debit card. STCU had denied the transaction but I stopped in to ask if it was advisable to cancel that card. They not only gave me a new card right there in the office but reviewed my accounts and set me up with features that ensure my money would be generating additional interest. Whether I'm speaking with a teller, an advisor or someone on the phone, I always feel they have my best interests in mind. I also appreciate STCU's continued support of local community activities. “I opened an account for my teenage son to give him access to emergency funds via a debit card. Last night he was driving across the state and stopped for gas, but his card was declined. I have access to his account info and could see that he had plenty of funds available. Numerica has NO after-hours card support, and when i called the bank today to figure out what had happened they were able to verify that the acct had funds available, and that the card was declined at several locations without explanation. Completely unacceptable circumstance.2nd update. The folks at numerica dug into this for me and discovered that the gas station overcharged the card to be safe (by 100 dollars), but didn't void the charge when the card was declined, so the ATM transaction that followed showed a negative balance. an unfortunate series of events. stars restored for good customer service. it's still important to note that there is no after hours card support for debit cards. I mentioned this to the Numerica rep.”
