Towing in Shoreline, WA

“I am in town from Oklahoma because my mother passed away and am pregnant. Needless to say when her car wouldn’t start this evening at the grocery store I had a complete meltdown of all the things that could be wrong. I was convinced it was her starter or alternator and I’d have to have it towed AND I leave town in a few days. He answered my call and said he’d come right away to try and jump it incase that was the issue before we worried about anything else. He said 10 minutes and he was to me in 8! The hood of the truck was impossible to open but he kept trying and figured it out for me! He got it charged, realized I had left the headlights on from the last time I drove it 2 days ago (grief, pregnancy brain, and I am used to driving my new cars) and also that the wheel had locked. I was up and going in at most 10 minutes AND not once did he make me feel stupid and make fun of me. He was SO kind and understanding about it and made it seem like it was no big deal. The nonjudgment, complete speediness, knowledge, and reassuring kindness made my horrible week a little better. 100/5 stars if I could!”

“I opted for this Richmond Beach Shell/Texaco station today, Monday 5 February 2024, as the price per gallon for regular/unleaded was less than $4.00 per gallon. One of the lowest prices in the area. Of recent, it has been consistently competitive with the 76 gas station roughly across Northwest Richmond Beach Road from this station. The pumping station/stalls were cleanly and the gas prices were clearly communicated. None of the pumps were out of commission that I saw. There was a food mart with a worker and other patron(s) inside. Pulling in and out of the station was straightforward with space to pull in/out both on Northwest Richmond Beach Road and 8th Avenue Northwest. Growing up, this was one of the gas stations my family used, primarily depending on the prices and its proximity to the house. If we were coming back from a longer trip, were tired, and just needed gas, this was also an option, being the closest gas station to the house.”
