“This Walmart is unlike any other. In our small pastoral town you will find yourself welcomed warmly into our homey neighborhood Walmart. This Walmart is the kind of place where people are kind to one another and they take the time to help you when you need it. They still have great bargains, just like any other Walmart. However, they don't skimp on friendliness here. The last time I was there I was greeted at the door with a friendly face and I asked where to find something. I was given directions, including step by step detail straight to what I was looking for. After that several people took the time to say hello and make sure that we found everything we were looking for. A few of them even chatted with us as they worked and I found out what was new in downtown Shelton to boot! I just can't say enough great things! Shelton isn't the biggest Walmart, nor is it the highest grossing Walmart. However, they make up for it with heart! I'd rather have good people who actually care about my experience than a larger collection of cups up choose from any day of the week!”

“I have been a patient of the Walmart Vision Center in Shelton for many years and so has many of my family and friends. The staff is amazing. They always go out of their way to help me pick a pair of glasses that I love. Destiny has helped me almost every time I go in and we always have a good visit when I do. She's kind and helpful and always gets me nice glasses that I can afford. Eleanor is very helpful too. I never feel rushed and I never feel they are only there for money, they treat patients like family. Dr La is an good Dr who takes time explaining my eye issues (I have a few) I give this place 5 stars for many reasons.”

“They remodeled inside the store and a lot of products are not there now - and that is very unfortunate for the people that drive from miles away to shop there it is almost like they want it to close or something, Walmart has been a God Send for those RUAL shoppers, WHAT IS WALMART THINKING. THE 5 star is for who they were before they cut back!!!”
