Pet Pros
4722 42nd Ave SW, SeattleUsually quick service and friendliness. However, I, an older person have troubles sometimes with ordering online. This is the 2nd time I've tried calling the store for help. The first time a nice young woman took my order by phone. Today I had problems again, spending 1/2 hour trying to order by phone and was told, in no uncertain terms, they couldn't do this. The young man refused to assist me at all. I am confined to home and can't go into the store.

All The Best Pet Care - Greenwood
10005 Holman Rd NW, SeattleI cannot say enough about how much I love shopping here! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they obviously really care about their customers and their pets! I have two cats and went through a period of time where they were being really picky about food and one was having digestive issues. At All the Best they were so understanding of what I was going through trying to find food that works for my cats! They have a color coding system which lets you know the textures of different food etc… but the game changer for me was one of the employees recommendation of an enzyme supplement that I mix into their food (the wisely one)! Once I started mixing the enzyme into their food the little one stopped having digestive problems and they both decided they agreed on a food they liked. I think maybe it wasn’t so much the food but how they felt after eating it that made the difference. I haven’t had them snub anything since they started the enzyme. In addition to providing great guidance on food etc… the staff is just really friendly and seem to genuinely like talking to their customers and hearing about their pets and lives. When I’m feeling depressed or yucky I usually avoid errands because I get anxious and I never feel the need to avoid coming here. I know if I come in feeling less than 100% that I’ll leave in better condition than when I came in. I don’t buy cat food anywhere else anymore! This shop is my #1

Madison Street Animal Hospital
2215 E Madison St, SeattleTime to break out the Halloween Doggie costumes! Carrots and I are still grieving the loss of Miss Peas, she was such a wonderful doggie, but we are in a better spot and Carrots and I couldn't be closer. Her ashes have been scattered in an apple orchard I hope to visit soon. This was done compliments of Madison Vet Clinic. As if they could be any nicer. Here's my original post:
I had to put down my puppy Peas a few weeks ago and my Husband died in October, so it's just me and Carrots, Peas' brother. As mentioned before, Peas was experiencing seizures, they were increasing in frequency and she was in pain. The four of us made up a joyful, wonderful family and made some awesome memories over 16 years. While this was one of the most difficult experiences I've ever been through, I thank God that Dr. Zebrowski was there to put her down. Also, the entire staff who was present, and this is no exaggeration, was there to support me, offer hugs, kind words and a safe space to cry. And I hate crying in public. So, yet another reason to give these people your business and hopefully start a long fruitful relationship. Be well.
If you are looking for brains AND beauty in your veterinarian search, look no further! Dr. Ken Zebrowski checks all of my boxes. I have 2 senior Shichons, 1 of whom has been experiencing seizures. Before switching from Mercer Street Vet Clinic to here, no one could figure out which meds would work. Dr. Z ran some blood tests and quickly identified the solution. Peas is doing much better, which means everyone in our family is doing much better, too. Thanks to the staff here who goes above and beyond with pharmaceutical requests, getting you and yours checked in and quickly assigned a room. You All Make a Difference, Thank You!

Broadway Veterinary Hospital
1824 12th Ave, SeattleI've had nothing but good experiences at Broadway VH. I've taken my dog there for 2.5 years. He had heartworm when I adopted him, which was really hard on us. Luckily, Dr. Rawlings has more experience with treating heartworm than most vets in the area. The whole staff gave him the best treatment and made it as easy on us as they could.
They also offer services such as "happy visits" (I think that's what they call it) where you can stop by with your pet and the staff will take them in just for pets and free treats so that my dog can have some purely positive experiences there and be less anxious when he comes in for normal check ups, vaccine boosters, etc.
As for pricing, I really don't know how they compare to other vets in the area but they are fully transparent about pricing and don't pressure you to do anything extra if you don't want to.

Urban Animal
White Center, 9610 17th Ave SW, SeattleI had the pleasure of working with Heather, one of the assistants. Today was a horrible day for me and she went above and beyond to make my experience a great one. I wish I could remember the doctors name because she was good too, but Heather truly made the experience fantastic. Super patient, knowledgeable, kind, understanding just overall an amazing person! I appreciate her compassion and sensitivity, I couldn’t have asked for a better interaction. They made sure my pup was fully taken care of, and all my questions were being answered, which I highly value. Sometimes the line can be a little bit long because this is a walk-in clinic, but it really is worth it to come here. I got there at eight, but I probably would’ve gotten there at 7:30! Just a little tip for future pet owners coming to the clinic. Otherwise, very happy and I now has less anxiety because my dog was taken care of with the utmost care.

Sensitive Dog
3006 S Brandon St, SeattleAs others have mentioned, Julie is a wealth of knowledge - clearly knows dogs and I'm very grateful for the personalized session. My 10 month old dachshund has had health issues, and she helped me recognize the link between health and training, and was very helpful in educating me about ways to help him. She also introduced some very simple commands that my pup responded to immediately. I'm dealing with his adolescence and my own ignorance in how to manage and correct some of his behavior. The session was so packed with information that it will keep me busy for months. I highly recommend Sensitive Dog. You will not regret it.

1106 SW 120th St, SeattleMorgan was our training for our 2 yr old Austrian Sheppard. When we took our dog Mylo in he was not able to be walked on a leash, he jumped on people and would run out the door. Morgan prepared us with areas he needed continual work on and told us what we needed to do to continue his training. When coming home we happened to have a ton of family over and when the door rang and we told him to place he did and he waited until we released him to say hi. The best part is he didn't jump on anyone. Our guests were so impressed. We have continued to put in the work and we are seeing the progress he is making and we are excited about the outcome. Thank you Morgan for taking good care of our dog and giving us Mylo 2.0!! I highly recommend the two week board and train program!

Rocket Dog Care
9035 12th Ave NW, SeattleHolly owns this incredible gem. I almost don't want to give it the 5-star rave I feel compelled to because I don't want them to get more packed than they already are. She and her staff pay close attention to the dogs; they are genuinely invested in this space and what it offers for our four-legged babies. When I brought up one of my dogs' trepidation and unwillingness to enter the facility, Holly immediately showed concern and acted. Apparently, he had been spooked by the construction noise that had occurred the day before and thus was being reticent the morning after. Additionally, the pups all were fearful of and had reservations with one of the employees, who they only saw briefly and never got to interact with. This disconnect was addressed beautifully by Holly. She said the employee didn't like he didn't get time with the dogs either and that other dogs also felt unsettled by not knowing who he was, and she made sure the dogs got to meet him more, and now all is dandy. It is so refreshing to know that Rocket Dog does everything in its power to care for my pups and my coworker's pup when we can't have them at work. It also gives me joy to support a female-run business! Thank you, Holly and Team, on behalf of Dune, Onyx and Granite.

Puffy Pandy
9828 16th Ave SW, SeattleProbably one of the more unique dessert places in washington. I really enjoy visiting this parlor. Their decor is on par with the name and it's so clean and organized inside. I was also surprised by their selection of desserts. Yes their puffy pandy's are their specialty, but they have several other types of desserts in a surprising range of flavors. I think they are on to something with the puffy treats. I tried both their ice cream filled pandy and their regular pandy. Both amazing, but not too over the top. Some colorful desserts like this are so full of sugar I dont even finish all of it. These are a nice balance. Their branding is unmatched. They have a really cool theme and merchandise that is also cool and worth purchasing. Combine all of this with their decent customer service and you have a wining formula in my opinion. I recommend this dessert shop for any dessert cutting as can can pretty much have it all here.

5200 Roosevelt Way NE suite b, SeattleAdopted the loveliest senior cat and was impressed with how generous they were with supplying her prescription food. The folks here care a lot about their cats and make sure they're taken care of. Definitely recommend.

Seattle Animal Shelter
2061 15th Ave W, SeattleThe people at SAS are literally doing God's work, saving all these helpless animals and making sure that they find loving homes to go to. I've adopted two cats from here in the recent years and am surprised by how quickly they can help cats find homes, including things such as adoption drives! My friends who weren't pet lovers fell in love with pets after visiting a few here and are considering adoption, so kudos!
