Natural Pet Pantry
830 SW 152nd St, BurienMy 8 year old dog, at the time, was experiencing vomiting after almost every meal. I struggled to keep weight on her, she was lethargic and I couldn't control the vomiting. She had been on kibble her whole life and after several different trial and errors, I was recommended Natural Pet Pantry. We started with the lightly cooked stew and slowly graduated to the raw food. Since switching (about 2 and a half years ago) my dog has only thrown up once or twice, compared to the almost daily bouts before. Her weight is amazing and she has so much more energy! We now regularly purchase the beef, duck or chicken raw food as well as the raw goats milk. I've personally spoke with the owner Jeff on several occasions and the passion he has for making quality food options for our pets is so evident. You can truly tell he cares about the food, the process, his team, his customers and most importantly our pets. Do your pet a favor and make the switch. You won't regret it. Thank you NPP team for extending my dogs life, I truly believe it's due to you that we'll get a few more great years with her.

PetSmart
14903 4th Ave SW Suite 200, BurienI've always had a great experience at this Petsmart, used to go here when I worked in the area and they'd always help me with whatever I needed. Went back in today because they had some great online deals so I did a pick up order. I always run around the store to check out new or clearance items and found some great pieces of wood and a really nice tank! The cashier and manager were super helpful, even brought me a cart to the back and offered to help me bring it to my car. Also chatted about reptiles for a while and they seem super knowledgeable. Their crickets were also in amazing condition and weren't stinky like most pet stores I've been to. While this one's a little out of my way I think I'll be shopping at this location more often :)

Burien Veterinary Hospital: Whitty Erin DVM
14628 Ambaum Blvd SW, BurienI loved Dr. Kamdar and Dr. Lee for 16.5 years with Lucy, our white American Eskimo dog. After Lucy died we waited 5 months and adopted a traumatized 11 year old named Jasmine, a Toy Schnoodle. Dr. Kamdar welcomed her warmly. Their support staff is great. Jasmine's scared of men so they quickly sent only women technicians to carry her in and out in the pandemic. However (there's always a "but") over the last decades, we experienced a slow worsening of service as they got busier. Now we no longer get reminders for regular care, like flea meds every 3 months, shots and exams. When you are "owned'" by a 12.5 year old, reminders are critical. It's more of a money making venture than a caring vet. I am sorry to see this because the Docs are smart and technicians are warm and competent. I guess it's time to find another vet with great, smart docs and caring service. If Burien Cares can manage it when they're swamped, BVH needs to Build Back Better at management. Thanks for 14 great years Dr. Kamdar.

VCA Five Corners Animal Hospital
15707 1st Ave S, BurienMy new adoptee is fearful of people due to some past demons she carries with her. This was our first visit to VCA Five Corners and everyone we worked with was understanding of her fear and went out of their way to make us both feel at ease and supported. In fact, what I thought would be a traumatic visit for all of us resulted in us leaving with our shared tail wagging.Great visit, Dr. Reed and VCA, thank you.

All Barks Of Life Hotel - Dog Daycare & Dog Hotel
1043 S 140th St, BurienLulu absolutely loved it here! Folks took wonderful care of her. She was placed with her other dogs with similar temperament and had no issues. Went to other places which required temperament tests to see if she was a good fit and she passed with flying colors, only to be bit by another dog and it drew blood. Had to go on antibiotics. That stressed me as she was only 4 months old and worried if that would affect her. Luckily, it didn't. I liked that these folks at All Barks understand the different needs of dogs with different ages and personalities, have separate areas for dogs to play, and was able to have a chat with the gal during pick up who was able to tell me everything about her whole stay. Also received some photos of her while she was there, which put me at ease, and absolutely loved it. Will def need to schedule a time for her to come back!! I attached one hilarious photo I received from her there.

Dog's Day Out Training Center South
15227 Ambaum Blvd SW, BurienI did the online dog training with Danette Johnston. Danette is so knowledgeable about dogs behavioral needs and really trains the human owners to recognize their dogs responses and tune in. Her training course is compassionate, humane, and in line with what science tells us about dog behavior.

Camp Crockett Dog Day Camp
626 SW 154th St, BurienI truly think Camp Crockett owners have a great business and are trustworthy people. My only reason for 4 vs 5 stars is because there is always room for improvement and I would like to see updates from staff when boarding for several days, as an added courtesy. I have taken my dog (a Schnoodle) to both Little Campers and boarded her for up to 5 nights at the Burien location and will continue to do so.

Pigfish Café
921 SW 152nd St, BurienBest food in Burien! The chefs mean some serious business. They get DOWN in that kitchen. literally everything on the menu is delicious but the pigfish burger is seriously the best burger I’ve ever had. The staff is also just so sweet, they make you feel so welcomed. My friend took me one time and I have been a regular ever since because the food so good. I’m not even scared to try new stuff here. I’ve noticed some restaurants have serious quality differences between dishes but I am never worried about that at pigfish. Everything is so good please do yourself a favor and check it out.

Logan Brewing Company
510 SW 151st St, BurienI hadn't been to this part of Burien for some time so was glad to see the revitalization and stopped into Logan Brewing for beer with a friend. The community is lucky to have this establishment. The local is great for a summer drive, walk, or cycle. It's fun to try their offerings, something new in a place that's changed so much. Fun to sit outside, talk, and people watch. Parking is on the street. The service was a little odd - not sure why because it wasn't busy - I'd call it disinterested, I guess. The place has potential.

Burien Press
423 SW 152nd St, BurienThis is the best coffee shop that I have found close to Seatac thus far. The espresso was excellent. They didn’t ask what size cappuccino I wanted (there’s only one size). They had excellent, gluten free pastries. Also fun, they carry boutique wines and meads!

Huong Viet Kitchen
14611 1st Ave S, BurienThis place has gone uphill with the new owners. The gentlemen greets us every time with a smile, gets our order correct and really has pride in his restaurant. The decor is wonderful and food is consistently great. I rate pho based on a few criteria of what we typically prefer to order and this restaurant is one of the few that hits them all.-Spring , has option for grilled pork or chicken and they’re delicious!-Peanut , homemade- Chicken , I love the fish sauce wings, they’re fresh, but wish I had more of that sauce-Chili/garlic Two types, homemade and both spicy how i like it-Pho , consistently amazing with deep flavors with-Portion , perfect for a great price-, they don’t skimpPro tip: I suggested that his wife bottle and sell her spicy chili sauce, it’s delicious! The next time we came in, she did and we bought a few Togo. Be careful-it’s spicy!

Burien C.A.R.E.S.
909 SW 151st St, BurienMy husband and I went there to see if they had any small breed dogs and they do, but we went in on a weekend day close to closing so we could not see what they had in the small breed dogs, but we saw a beautiful little black and white girl puppy who would be larger than we wanted. She was very well mannered and very sweet. The premise was very clean and the people working there were very friendly. They told us about their site online so we could see what they had available for adoption. We were not ready to adopt just yet. We have two older chihuahua's we rescued ourselves and we're not quite ready to adopt yet. Thank you to the staff for their friendliness and caring!!!
