They were able to repair it, strengthen the band, and also find a mine-cut diamond that perfectly matched the original setting. It looks exactly like the day we bought it, but it’s even sturdier. Couldn’t be happier! Also a very reasonable price.”

“It's been about five years since I've had my wedding rings polished, so I started looking around for polishing services. I've heard of Baraka Gems as I live close to the area, so decided to reach out and get some pricing information. Claire was extremely helpful and very professional, answering all of my many questions, and setting up the appointment was quick and easy. The only hiccup was that I was quoted a certain price in email, and the person who I actually met with in person quoted at a higher rate. I was a little thrown off and disappointed, but upon reaching back out, it was confirmed that while they recently updated their pricing, they would honor the previous quote. I really appreciate their level of customer service - they certainly did not have to do that, and it made me feel like my feedback was heard and that they really cared. My rings look just as beautiful as the day I first got them, and I'd gladly return the next time I need a polishing!”

“Lauren's Jewelry in West Seattle (Westwood Village) did a fantastic job in replacing very thick posts (see photo) on my 18K gold and diamond earrings with elegant hooked posts that drape very nicely. Lauren used the broken gold jewelry I brought in as material for the new posts and gave me "melt value" on the old posts. Excellent customer service and beautiful, flawless repair -- you cannot tell that the new posts are not original. Lauren was also very kind in accommodating my request for a quicker turnaround. I appreciate that you have to be buzzed in and that the door is locked at all times. Parking is free and plentiful. Really happy to have a quality jeweler in the neighborhood.”

“I really don't like normal jewelry stores at all, but truly enjoyed working with Mary on two pieces of jewelry now. My wife sends me jewelry screenshots for things she likes, which are impossible to find matches for in a normal jewelry shop, but Mary can just order whatever stones you need, and then create whatever you are looking for. Pricing is always fair and transparent too. She's fast too - I requested a custom piece on Friday night, she ordered stones Monday morning, which arrived Tuesday, she worked to assemble everything Tuesday night, overnighted the jewelry to me on Wednesday, which I received Thursday. I will be back!”

I did some research and looking around and found Lisa Esztergalyos's Jewelry shop in West Seattle and decided to take the chain there to get worked on. I dropped it off and less than 2 weeks later was contacted to pick it up. My experience was very good, both dropping it off and picking up the necklace. The repair was professional and well done.
